Xperia Z5 is coming with FHD resolution and Snapdragon 810
Xperia Z5 is future flagship from Sony and expected to be unveiled in September or October. Recently some details about the next flagship in Xperia Z series have surfaced. According to the revealed UAproof of Xperia Z5, the flagship is going to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset. Snapdragon 810 is facing overheating issues since the release and the smartphones powered with that chipset like HTC One M9, LG G Flex 2 are frequently overheating and throttling. But recently Qualcomm announced that they released a cooler version of Snapdragon 810 as version 2.1. So it seems that the Japanese tech giant is going to power the Xperia Z5 with the Snapdragon 810 v2.1 chipset.
Another revealed feature of Xperia Z5 is FHD resolution. Previous rumours claimed that Sony is going to release the Xperia Z4 with QHD resolution but at last Sony released it with FHD resolution of 1080p. So it seems that Sony is planning to release the next Xperia Z phone with QHD resolution. But recent UA proof revealed that Xperia Z5 is also features 1080p resolution like its predecessors. As these are not official specs of Xperia Z5 we must take these with a pinch of salt and have to wait until the official launch of Xperia Z5 to know the confirmed features and specs of the next flagship from Sony.

According to Japanese site iGeek, Sony is planning a music-focused ‘Walkman’ variant of its upcoming Xperia Z4 handset.
This isn’t as crazy as it might sound – we’ve already heard on the grapevine that multiple versions of the Xperia Z4 might be coming.
So what would a Walkman-toting Z4 look like? Well fortunately, we have a leaked image purported to be just that, with some specs in tow.
What may disappoint some of you though, is that it looks very much like a slim Xperia Z3 that runs an app mimicking the classic Walkman interface. We’re not surprised…
Perhaps more interesting is the inclusion of hi-res audio codec support, paired with S-Force PRO front-firing surround speakers with Sony’s S-Master digital amplifier.
Also tipped for the device is a 4-inch display with a 1440 x 720 resolution. That’s well below the 5.4/5.5-inch display we’re expecting for the Xperia Z4 proper, which makes it clear that this is a variant model.
On board will be a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in memory, a 2000mAh battery, and an 8-megapixel snapper to boot.
The new device is tipped to be landing at this year’s Mobile World Congress – that’s the Barcelona-based tech-fest running from March 2 to 5.
That puts it alongside the rumoured launch date for the actual Xperia Z4, which is expected to tout much higher specs, and a higher price tag too.

A Walkman edition sounds interesting, that's the only issue with my z1
A benchmark called Compubench has leaked the specs of both, the HTC One (M9) and One (M9) Plus
The camera department on both will be almost identical with a 20MP main camera, there will be no Duo cameras this time. The selfie camera had previously leaked as a 4MP UltraPixel shooter, but this benchmark detected a 12MP selfie camera that records 2160p video on the One (M9). The selfie video capture on the One (M9) Plus is capped at 2,048 x 1,536px.
The HTC One (M9) Plus will have a sharper display – QHD (1,440 x 2,560px). The benchmark reports it as 5.1", but that contradicts earlier rumors and since these scorecards often get size wrong we'd be more inclined to expect a properly larger screen. Where we can trust the benchmark is chipset detection and so the One (M9) Plus will use a MediaTek MT6795 chipset. That one is based only on the smaller Cortex-A53 cores, eight of them, 3GB of RAM and packs PowerVR Rogue G6200 chipset (the GPU used in Meizu MX4).

The base model will have a 5" 1080p screen and will be powered by Snapdragon 810 – four Cortex-A57 cores, four A53, 3G of RAM and Adreno 430.
Both phones will launch with Android 5.0 Lollipop and will have 32GB of built-in storage, 23GB of that available to the user.

The lagend has a return
Aftet almost a year Motorola is set to launch Moto G 3rd Gen on 28 July.
As always Motorola wants to compete budget brands like Xiaomi that's why
The Moto G3 will launch in 2 separate models
One with snapdragon 615 cpu 2 gb ram and 16 gb storage 2470 mAh battery
Second with snapdragon 410 cpu 1 gb ram 8 gb storage and 2100 mAh battery
Both will come with 13 mp front Sony Exmor camera and 5 mp front camera
Display resolutions is still not confirmed but 8 gb model will have a 720p display.
And you can expect a budget friendly price for both models.
What do you think?

If this true, i will be getting sd615 version
Well my friend... recently a picture of the package for a Moto G 3rd Gen has leaked, the version of 16GB and DTV on Brazil.. It is dual sim but the box says it has Snapdragon 410 CPU @ 1.4GHz... So I think a 16GB version with 615 or even 610 is not going to happen this year!

I found some lines im build.prop that enables Z4/Z5 Automatic Headphone Compensation and LDAC
Here is the (default) disabled state

And this is how the audio settings looks after changing AHC supported to yes and LDAC to true
But after all, nothing changed after flicking the switch on/off. I think we need a relevant libs ported from Z4/Z5.
Cheers

I hate that in Sony. Blocking new features from older phones. As they did in quick charge 2. 0
To my knowledge, LDAC is hardware dependent just like aptX or the latest aptX HD

Z2 and Z3 share nearly the same hardware together, so why Z3 does have LDAC while Z2 doesn't? And then about QC as well, Z2 Japanese does, and if you flash Japanese firmware for Z2 International, it would have QC. Sony has been doing suck things to nerf their devices, even Z5 line.

Z3 doesn't have LDAC.
Z3+/Z4 and Z5 has it.
is there a way to enable xLoud?
