Firstly, my phone [D802] will only go into either
1) fastboot mode (not download or recovery)
2) a white screen with three options in korean (yes/no/cancel?) showing a barcode with my IMEI number
The fastboot command shows a '?' for my device identifier, and when I type a command, the phone displays the command, but never seems to perform any action.
For example, "fastboot reboot" just sits there until I quit the command. This is the same for "erase" and "flash" commands.
"getvar all" returns immediately but never shows a response.
I have tried various versions of LG united drivers and google drivers on two different windows machines and a mac, all with the same result.
I would be grateful if anyone could suggest what to try next.

When you purchase the phone, if it came with android Kit Kat of D802 then you can install without problems the KDZ that I mentioned to you, because if the Kit Kat version is aptavel so jelly bean also is.

taking an OTA with custom recovery installed = bad for phone. I think that this might be your only hope assuming you have TWRP as your custom recovery.....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451696. I have not seen something similar for CWM, but guessing similar method would exist somewhere
PS - I have verizon version and have not tried this process. seems others have had success

Ok I just fixed this with CWM. Go into your device manager on your PC, you should have a yellow exclamation next to do D800. Right click that and select 'update drivers' the 'browse for drivers' and finally 'let me pick from a list of drivers'. Once you do that, in the list should be android device. Select that and then it should bring you to another list where GOOGLE is selected and ADB Test port. Select that and force that driver. Once it does that ADB shell will work in CWM! Then just follow the commands above! Reboot and rejoice!
How do I find a specific driver?

ADB Sideload. Respond if you need help with it. Macs are the easiest for ADB sideloading because they don't need drivers, I could help you with a PC too but it's more annoying.

The issue with Linux is there aren't any official Google ports for the files for ADB Sideloading. Do you have access to a PC or a Mac? http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html these are the Android SDK files for Mac and Windows, I'm not quite sure if they have Linux support, but you could try. Also Wine, the program that allows you to run Windows apps on Linux or Mac will not work with this because of the way it works, so you need an actual Windows or Mac device. However, if it does support Linux I'm sure it wouldn't be any harder than it is on Windows or Mac. Also I tried using the LG Flash Tool method on various devices and it was more complicated and wouldn't work for me for whatever reason even after installing the drivers.
how would you sideload from a mac. mines stuck. in twrp i didnt even know the radio was updating. i guess my daughter pressed it. lol she was using quick memo to color. what files would i need? i tried to do all the other ways on my wifes windows pc but no go. the phone tries to update firmware when i plug it in and stays at 0.
I'll just say that the way I did it in my post worked for me twice while I was stuck in a TWRP boot loop from failed ROM flashing. Both times it worked with out a hitch to get my Sprint g2 running a tmobile rom back to stock Sprint.

If the phone is not turning back on even after the KDZ update, then chances are that you have hard-bricked your phone. In the KDZ update, does the log says 'UPDATE SUCCESSFUL' message?.

"Wparam=100; Lparam=6" are errors denoting that the update was not successful. And the 'finished' message indicates that the process is complete. But, it must show that "Update Successful' in the log. Understand that. Try to re-install the LG mobile drivers and then flash it.

Hi bro" r u there' i need help wit u
Ok so i bought the lg g2 a while back thinking it was the d802 model but i was suspicious about it so i opened it up and looked at the back of the motherboard. In reality its the d800 model which i believe is the AT&T model?
Now what im running is a bizzare rom which looks like the stock kk lg rom for the g2 but when i go to about device and software info there is no option to check for updates and the rom shows that my model is the d802 in the about device and then hardware info. Even when i connect to the lg pc suite it says that my model is the d802 and there is no update for it and im running the latest version "d8022c". Now i know this is all incorrect as i looked at the motherboard and over there it says that its the d800 model of the lg g2.
Before i knew that this was the d800 i flashed a rom for d802 on my device. When the rom was installed through cwm recovery(i bought a used phone and it came pre rooted and pre installed with cwm recovery) i rebooted the phone but then the lg logo appeared and on the top left of the screen it said fastboot mode started and udc start.i didnt know what to do so i looked up the key combination to go into recovery and tried that. Fortunately it worked and i was in recovery mode. I restored the rom that i backuped earlier and rebooted the phone. It works normal now but my question is " how do i install a lollipop rom on my phone? Do i just flash a rom for the d800?"
Sorry for such a long and lengthy description but i wanted to tell everything about my phone so there was no confusion and sorry for the incorrect english if you encountered any(english is not my first language)
Please help me. I just wanna install a lollipop rom ='(

First of all, you need to install a d800 ROM immediately. Then use twrp or terminal emulator to flash back your laf partition (download mode). I'm in a hurry and cannot provide instructions sorry

Alright go to twrp click advanced and start adb sideload. Then use adb sideload to flash a d800 rom this is to correct the boot loader (aboot and boot) then download terminal command and the d800 laf.IMG from codefi.re
Then put that directly in your SD card and from terminal type su and click enter. Then use this command type it in exactly " dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/fota "

Ok i understood some of the things you said but i found this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/help/flashing-d800-rom-d802-viceversa-story-t3128639/page2
Over there "umermushtaq's" method on intsalling cloudy g2 seems alot easier and it seems to be fixing my problem. Is it ok if i follow that? I just want your opinion on that and if you dont recommend that ill try using your method but you'd have to use more simpler terms.
Im really really sorry as im a big noob. Sorry once again.
