So everything was going pretty fine with my phone until the week before last I stopped getting 3G and now I only get Edge. It's been like that even in Columbus, Oh. Did something about AT&Ts 3G network change a couple weeks ago? My cable modem is down for the night and I'm using internet sharing from my 8525 but this Edge speed isn't great. I've hard booted and made sure that it was in 3G mode. I don't have one of those 3G sims but it was working fine without it before. I don't know what changed. Thinking about updating my rom just for the standard reasons, it's from September.
I'm finding a solution to solve 3g connection problem before release new flasher.
wait, did ATT 3g ever work on omnia 7 before? I'm on att and dying to get data, show me how pls?

AT&T worked fine, before updated to I8700XXKH2.
Also my iPhone3GS is working fine, but only I8700XXKH2 Omnia7 does not work.
Apparently using Samsung Network Profile will solve that....

so today I noticed my N4 couldn't get any telephone signal whatsoever. At first I thought the provider was just having issues but when I came home and tested my other phone it worked fine, so it's an issue with my N4.
Did a factory reset, problem remained. Then I tried activating 2G only and all of sudden the signal was back, telephone and data on 2G and everything works fine.
As soon as I uncheck 2G only however, both signals are gone and here's the kicker: even when wifi is activated and connected I get no signal. (with 2G+wifi I do however)
Had faux' kernel installed on stock deodexed, wen't back to stock kernel for now, didn't change anything else lately, problem just randomly appeared.
EDIT: nevermind, I just realized I checked 2G only on the other phone as well and forgot about it. Same problem there. Has to be a provider issue.

I have flashed the ZVA update, with the OPTIMUS rom. Everything seemed OK but there's something I noticed, I barely get LTE now and whenever I am running 3G I lose GPS signal. It's visa versa too. If I get GPS signal, I lose 3G/Data capability. Does anyone have any advice?

Hey I'm not sure if this problem was addressed already but I just got my N6 a few days ago and noticed a popping sound while I was making a call or talking to someone on the phone. I was messing around with the settings to see if changing some things would fix it and voila! No more popping/crackling sounds while calling or talking to peeps on my phone. I'm running Pure Nexus (Build 9/08 I believe) so I'm not sure if this applies to aosp and stock ROMs or just aosp ROMs.
Just go to Settings>More>Cellular networks and turn off Enhanced 4G LTE mode.
I think you lose your LTE service while calling someone and it turns into an "H" symbol so I'm guessing you can't surf the web and stuff while on a phone call. After a call, I waited a couple seconds and checked if my internet would connect right after and it did even though the H symbol was there still. It might be different for some but try it out and let me know what happens on your guy's side!
This was a problem for me on stock, too. I turned it off yesterday and it seems to have done the trick.
Are you on T-Mobile? My issues just started recently. The calls were fine with that setting turned on up until a week or so ago.
Yeah I'm on T mobile. I've only had the phone for 3 days and just noticed it yesterday. I rooted it and installed an aosp ROM right when I got it so I'm not sure if it was happening before
Thanks for the info dude. I have had this problem on stock and on all the chroma versions i tried (with different combinations of radios), but didnt notice it on M (xtrasmooth rom).
Back on chroma 9/27 build, and shall try your solution.
Oh and if it matters i use "wifi preferred" wifi calling.

So far so good switching off "enhanced 4g lte" has fixed the problem for me.

I think it is only available in XT1103 north american variant of Nexus6. I don't have that option with my XT1100 european variant as well.

I have XT1103 and it is still not a option...must be bacuse I am on Verizon.
Theres another option. I was on the m developer 3 preview radio and had the same problem. I flashed the boot loader and radio from lmy48m build and the crackling went away with advanced lte enabled. Even saw band 12 on that radio. The baseband is 95R.
