Hi!
I made a terrible mistake. I do not know how to solve it. I have been browsing dozens of pages and I am completely stuck.
I flashed a rom with odin and I ticked “Nand Erase All”. Yes, I know what I am, but don’t tell me. Well, after flashing the rom the phone is stuck on Samsung logo. And no matter what you do, it is always stuck on Samsung logo.
I have re-flashed several stock roms and in all possible ways (repartition, pit…), according to what I have read.
And I can’t boot into recovery, only into download. I have read that from recovery, a system format and wipes could solve this problem. But I can’t get into recovery. I have flashed different recoveries: Philz, CWM, TWRP. And no way, it is impossible to boot into recovery.
Please any help appreciated.

This isn't my first android root but I'm stuck. I followed the video for rooting my Nexus 10. Got stuck in a boot loop but was able to flash cwm but still in boot loop. I tried doing the factory reset and now cwm is gone too and still stuck in boot loop. Do I need to reflash the stock recovery and if so where do I find that to download?
flash tbe cwm recovery again via fastboot, transfer your custom rom of choice from your desktop to your device, wipe data (factory reset), then flash that rom via cwm. btw, this is a galaxy nexus forums

and the recovery flashed fine? did you "fastboot devices" to make sure fastboot can see your device? sometimes these recoveries need to ne flashed a few times before they take. try flashing it two or three times in a rom. did you try twrp recovery? you might like that recovery better.
op, rename/delete /system/recovery-from-boot.p and reflash your custom recovery;
RANT: GOD DAMN IT, WHERE'S MY NEXUS 10!!!??? BEEN WAITING FOR 2 GODAMN MONTHS! - Sorry, it's just that I've been going through some **** to get my hands on one - AND THERE'S PEOPLE WHO'S GOT 2!!!

I ran MSkip toolkit and it repaired everything. I got a failed on renaming my recovery images so my stock recovery images are just gone I guess? Anyway I'm good. Rooted and repaired thanks to Skips toolkit.
Thanks for all the help!

It appears to be flashing fine and yes it sees my device. I tried multiple reflashing this am and still no joy.
I reposted in the right place and got some help but not done yet. I think mod might delete this thread since I have the other one going.

I had Mint Jelly2.1 installed and everything was working fine.
it started when I had used the APK Hide It Pro. I was in the process of hiding videos and I noticed that my phone got rebooted and got stock in the Samsung boot up image with the Custom Lock image.
I tried nandroid restore, 2 images, but both also failed to restore / bootup.
I tried re-installing ROM and it was successful but during reboot, it will still get stock on the boot image.
Last step.
I used ODIN to restore the stock ROM and ODIN was able to install and reset. And my phone rebooted but still got stock on the Samsung Logo with CUstom Lock Screen.
What else can I do to fix this?
Thank you.
Boot into recovery and do a factory reset. I assume you now have 3e stock recovery because of ODIN. This might or might not help. If you have any questions about recovery, please use the search function for information. If for some reason you still have a custom recovery (TWRP or CWM), try re-flashing an AT&T ROM and Kernel again. Everything you try is at your own risk. Good luck.

I had tried to restore/flash from recovery before ODIN and it all Failed.
Anyway, the last step ODIN restore and it was still stock at the Samsung Logo with Lock image.
I left the phone to charge the whole night and this morning when I turned it on, it was able to start properly with ODIN stock ROM.
I tried to go to recovery, and can only be done manually, and it was not the TWRP recovery but the stock one, with very small characters.
I tried to install Mint Jell2.1 right away but just reboots.
I realized that I might need to root it again and downloaded the Tool and re-loki'ed/rooted and installed TWRP.
Now, I am able to install Mint Jelly 2.1 and restoring all my apps.
I appreciate the comment.
Thank you.

Yeah, every single time I ODIN back to stock, I get stuck at the splash screen also. And rebooting to 3E (factory) recovery and "restore factory defaults" works great.

I am running out of options. I thought I am already out of this stuck on Samsung Logo with Custom Lock icon.
I had ODIN to stock I337UCUAMDL and reset, Ran Loki patch / installed TWRP, intermittently it will get stuck.
I flashed Shoshock 1.9, was able to reboot and setup basic settings.
I manually reboot to check if it was able to fix the problem, but no.
I am stuck again and don't know what is the next step for trouble shooting it.
any advise will be appreciated.
Thank you.
I got stuck to 1st boot image of Samsung with Lock Custom Icon.
I did format data/factory reset/clear cache/dalvik.. all of the wipe ootions.
I flashed a new ROM, successful, rebooted pass the logo and booted fine. I did not change any settings yet and I rebooted to check if it will get stuck again and sure after reboot, it got stuck again on the 1st image that shows up : Samsung Logo with the Lock Custom Icon.

I'm stuck in Odin mode after flashing to custom rom.
I can get to TWRP recovery, but when I try to wipe and flash, I get back into Odin mode.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

This sounds like an issue that has been discussed many times on the forum. It has to do with how you use TWRP to flash the ROM. If you do a search, you will most definitely find what the exact issue was. I use CWM so I'm not completely sure, but I think it has to do with wiping data before flashes. Anyway, if this is the same issue you are having a quick search should show you the information. Good luck.
I have looked through forums, I even tried Odin, but every time I do something on it, it fails.

You might want to read through the TWRP thread in the development section to see what you should or shouldn't do when flashing ROMs with TWRP.

Get*ADB*to reboot into recovery. If you get stuck in ODIN, reboot the phone while connected to your PC. If you are able to get past the boot animation, do not try to unlock your home screen if you previously experienced numerous force closes. Allow the phone to get to your lock screen and then use*adb*to reboot bootloader. From there you can get into recovery. I'm sure this is probably a well known thing, but coming from the original DINC, I never had to use*adb. This was a lot of stress and eventually a huge sigh of relief once I figured it out.
Dont Think About What To Do Just Hit The THANK Button
The first issue I started to notice after rooting via Odin & TWRP was when trying to flash the iOS and WP ROMs from this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/3oss-project-samsung-galaxy-tab-4-7inch-t3081478 , it would fail. I was able to successfully flash the Google ROM from same post. I believe it was with one of the other ones that it even said successful yet when i went to reboot said no OS installed. So, I figured update my TWRP to newest version, maybe that was the problem. Well after updating, now when i go to wipe/factory reset it either says unable to mount or it doesnt even make it that far and reboots system. I tried flashing PIT file with Odin and issue persists. Everything still works smoothly but any help fixing this issue would be much appreciated as I do not want to dirty flash anything. Thanks in advance.
So now...after flashing stock firmware, it boots all the way to nook screen (right after samsung logo) and stops. I can boot into TWRP but it still says unable to mount data. Also, in TWRP when i click mount, the only one already checked is cache. I can manually select all others except data. When i go to install, the internal sd has absolutely nothing on it...really hope i didn's completely mess it up, sometimes my eagerness to learn gets the better of me. Thanks again for any help!
I have the same issue, im stuck
Hi, today i just played with file systems today and now i can't install any other roms excepting supermanrom. So i think i have a problem with file systems. Which file system does s7 edge using for default? Can any master help me? After im installing any rom it's stuck at bootloop
Which one should i use for example system and data file? ext4 or f2fs or any other?
Can you give us some more information?
if your stuck in boot loop? can you not boot into twrp?
Did you turn off OEM unlocking in developer options?
If you can load twrp? lots of info on returning to stock on here
just use search for installing to stock after bad flash.
Or other option would be flash another custom Rom.
Or are you saying you cant do any of the above?
If so what errors are you getting? it may help others that know more on
returning to stock.
I only flashed my first Rom to my S7E a few days ago after two bad flashing and had to have phone fixed in shop
to be honest I just did not read every thing and missed out apart and got stuck in boot loop.
but this time did the same but had twrp installed and just kept reading up on errors i was getting and in the end
i got it sorted.
May not of been much help but hope you get it sorted.
Good Luck

Format all with ext4 (in twrp). Especially the system. Because all touchwiz cusrom can only run on ext4. After all normal, you can just format to f2fs for data and cache
