[R] Request: universal root for galaxy grand prime

Hi guys.
can anybody please develope universal root for SGGP .As most of the users have to update or install new kitkat firmware in order to root from chainfire or other methods. i had previously used htc sensation , galaxy grand duos and sony xperia L and had no problems doing so. so i hope developers can make some solution which will soon make it possible for users to root without flashing or updating any kind of firmware.

[NEWBIE] Need help to root my Note 4 SM-N910G

So I have a Note 4 SM-N910G Variant Currently running 5.1.1 Lollipop and I'm looking forward to root it since my warranty is over. (Snapdragon) I want to flash dr.ketan's rom ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/n910g-dr-ketan-custom-rom-t2928568 ) but obviously I need to root my phone first.
I have researched through many youtube videos and website for Rooting and to my understanding, I need to download a kernel and flash a recovery called TWRP, flash SuperSU and then flash the ROM itself.
But so far, All I could find were kernels for other variants except N910G, some of them said that I can use the kernel for N910F ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/orig-development/tw-kernel-emotroid-team-t2990557 )
Can someone help me? And correct me if my understanding of the root procedure is wrong.

I tried to flash a kernal for SM-N910F 5.1.1 on my SM-N910G and it stopped my phone from booting (soft brick, got stuck on the first Samsung splash screen). I'm fairly certain that I did it correctly but I am new to Android so it might have been my mistake. I did get my phone working again by downloading the vanilla 5.1.1 SM-N910G firmware using SamFirm and installing it via Odin.

Unable to go to recovery.

Hi Friends, i have samsung note3 duos SM-N9002 Chinese version.Rooted with supersu TWRP.While iwas trying to change Chinese version of TWRP into English.Something went wrong.I unable boot into recovery .The phone is dead.Please can any one help me.I just wants to flash a new ROM. Thanks.

What you can do is load into Odin and see about flashing a stock rom again. Then start over again with the rooting

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with lollipop 5 and would like to upgrade to Marshmallow 6.x
Model Number is: SM-N9005
I have downlaoded the following:
N9005 TWRP Recovery v3
ِAndroid-Savior-N9005_TouchWizMM_V4_16-04-2016
Odin v3.07
Samsung Mobile Phones USB Driver 1.5.6.0
1. Will it work on my phone, from South Africa?
2. Do I need to root the phone first or will it not be needed when using TWRP?
3. Are there any issues afterwards like overheating, with sdcard, etc...?
I will appreciate all the help.

No one will check it for You. Read forum! There is a ton of topics related to flashing etc.

TWRP is recovery not rom .
MM no release for Note 3.
MM roms are custom read the instructions .
Dont no what rom this is as its not XDA .

Currently Running on stock OS Android 5.0

Baseband N900DDUEBPF1
BOOTLOADER N900XXSEBPL3
KERNEL 3.4.39 -576410
I tried to flash my fone with aryamod 6.4 but it failed to boot. So flash the backup image again. Request any member on this forum to create simple step guide as to download which version ROM for this variant.

You have Exynos chipset, so pick custom roms from the Note 3 Exynos development forum.

Can u pls tell me any stable Rom on this forum.

Stock rom is stable otherwise read the exynos rom threads and decide yourself .

want to try the android latest version on the note 3.Also the 5.0 android is slower comparatively.

Hi there,
Before you root your fone take a backup of your current version.(In case it fails you can still recover you phone else it will be brick!)
To root you fone u need to follow the videos from YouTube.
I suggest use tools/app like Nandroid manager, busy box,Root checker, Official TWRP app also other app are available.
Follow exynos thread only. As other variant firmware are not compatible.
