I am trying to setup my AT&T Galaxy S5 with my laptop so that I can handle phone calls using my pc headset. Whenever I pair my phone with my laptop the only bluetooth operations I get are to Send A File and Sync PIM data.
The laptop is an MSI Apache Ge60 2pl with Intel AC 3160 bluetooth.

Hello everyone,
I need some help wth this problem.
I have installed Windows Vista RC2 on my laptop.
I've got a Belkin Bluetooth Dongle V 2.0 with EDR it uses Widcomm drivers and I've managed yto find the latest driver that work on Vista Widcomm Version 5.1.0.2500.
I've have a problem with file transfer to and from my laptop.
Evertime I try It does not find my pda.
My pda is paired with my laptop.
The service that it finds are: 1 Dial-Up Networking, 2 Obex Object Push, 3 Voice Gateway this is what it shows WSter on my laptop.
On the pda instead it find this: 1 Headset, 2 Serial port, Dialup Networking, Wireless Stereo and that all.
Should it show as well the Obex Object Push on the pda??
I've got the tick in receive all beam file in the infrared menu.
The Bluetooth is alway on.
I tryed my pda as well on my sons desktop which has the same bluetooth and it send and receives file with no problem but that users Windows XP.
Am I missing something in Microsoft Vista.
On the Laptop I can syncronise with my pda with no problem via USB using WMDC.
Do I need to download something extra for the bluetooth to work fully.
Please can anybody advice me please.
Thank You

Hey guys,
I have my SPV M3100 synced with Vista via USB cable, but I want to sync it via Bluetooth. However I can figure out how to do it.
I try to create a new connection to my laptop via the phone, the only service available is Surround Speakers. If I try going from laptop to phone, the only one available is Network Access Point.
How can I just pair the two so that I can get Windows Mobile Device Center and Sync Center to work via Bluetooth? I'm using Windows Mobile 6 on an SPV M3100/HTC Hermes. The laptop is a Sony VAIO running the Toshiba Bluetooth stack.
Cheers
Hi there,
I always synced my phone bluetooth with my laptop (Windows 7 x64)
My laptop is bluetooth visible and devices are allowed to connect.
my phone sees my laptop, and me laptop sees my phone
when i bluetooth connect them it seems to go ok, but in the Windows device manager from my laptop it says cannot find drivers.
Strange because i downloaded the latest windows mobile center
I have an unknown bluetooth periphal device in the device manager
USB connection does work properly and the sync! i also can reach my 8Gb SD in my computer
Cheers!
I removed the initial question about the bluetooth connection with my carkit.
The initial question is a problem of my car, don't ask why but i tested bluetooth integrated carkit with a other phone and it also does not work properly so something in the wiring of my car is stuck and is not for this forum. First it DID work with the other phone
I cannot find how to change the thread type to "Bluetooth connection with WIndows 7"
nobody has problems with windows 7 drivers?
I have a 16GB Nexus 7 with XenonHD 4.2.2 Rom, and I cannot pair it with my Windows 7 (x64) desktop, either with the desktop looking for it and pairing or from the N7 finding the Desktop and Pairing.
But I can pair with my Macbook running OSX Lion and send a file from the Macbook to the N7.
And I can also pair the N7 to my T-Mobile G2 (HTC Desire-Z) running ILWT CM7 to use for Bluetooth Internet Tethering.
And I can successfully pair with my iPad (it'll pair, but it doesn't support any actual functions)
But alas, I cannot pair with my Windows 7 Desktop, any advice on where to look to solve the problem?
I got it to pair by moving the BT adapter to a different USB port, but even with it paired, there are no services listed under the services tab. There's a direct connect option but it does nothing other than show it connected, and then disconnects. So there appears to be no bluetooth functionality between the N7 and windows (such as file sharing, etc).
