You cannot update a rooted device via OTA - it'll download, but it won't install. You have to unroot to install it, and I don't even think it works. - Better flashing it via Odin, then re-rooting.

For now, 5.0 is snappy and kind a fast but battery is the same as 4.4.2 , and still needs to be retoched a little...
S health doesn't work verry well it stops most of time..
Now if you want to test you you shoud know that you cannot go back to 4.4.2 very easily...
goodluck
Okay.. Thanks..
Why is it that I have trouble going back to 4.4.2?

I was able to revert from Lollipop back to 4.4.2 without any issues. Used Odin and official 4.4.2 ROM.

Im not sure but i guess if you flash via odin it will be a fresh clean install so you better backup all your data and go for it.
The process is quite simple, just download 4.4 rom from sammobile and make sure you have the drivers installed in your PC.
There is an explanation of the process in sammoblie just follow it.
GL and let us know if it worked :good:
PS: No root needed

Because no exploit is avaliable if you are at our above 4.4.4
No you can't downgrade below 4.4.4
No there's nothing else you can do to get root.
