Try flashing TWRP 2.8.7.0 with ODIN 3.10.6, then flash SuperSU zip from inside TWRP
I can confirm this works. Also, you might want to try "Android Toolkit".

Hi
I have n9005 with latest 4.4.2 firmware xxuenc2. Ihave my device rooted (checked with root checker). I tried to install cwm 6.0.4.7 using odin. Even though it said pass, on reboot it says "set warranty bit:recovery". I have renamed install-recovery.sh and tried flashing installing cwm recovery, but still the same issue. Tried with reboot in odin and going to recovery after that but still the same issue.
Hv searched many forums but to no avail. Request to valuable pointers.

Tried with both Odin 3.07 and 3.185, but the same issue.
And what is your problem, the set warranty bit:recovery saying ?
That's normal. And by saying you couldn't find that ? You really need to sharpen your searching skills.

Problem was it was stuck for ever with the message " set warranty bit:recovery ". Tried with combination of odin 3.07 and n9005-cwm-recovery-6.0.4.6-kitkat(0113).tar. It has successfully installed CWM.
Hi, I recently flashed lollipop to my galaxy s4 and I want to root it but when I go in download mode, there is a new text in blue saying "secure download=enabled"
Can I still root my phone using Odin and CF auto root with this enabled ? And if not how can I disable it ?

I am not sure but as far as i know you should unlock your bootloader. But like i said i am not sure,if you do more research about this it will be good for you. Sorry for bad English :good:

No need to unlock the bootloader. Secure download was introduced on the Lollipop release and it doesn't act anything on your bootloader, even if you flash insecured file (.tar without .md5) via ODIN.
ive been through thousands of pages of forums and so far this is best answer to this question lol so this secure download enabled will not stop u from flashing causing odin to fail write and if so what will stop it from flashing stock or any rom ?
secure download enabled have one purpose... you CAN'T download (flash) old or low baseband (firmware) to your device... so you can't flash anything old than the one you already have installed.. well not by odin itself.. but you still can flash recoverys if your device support it, and flash any custom rom also..
edit: this not applied to old s5, s4, etc devices.. but s6 and new 2016 devices because the hardware checks

Didn't help.
still same problem.
After reading through a couple more forums I found that it was the Samsung Reactivation Lock that was blocking me. Upon booting the phone, going into Apps > Setttings > Security and then typing in my samsung account password I was able to disable the lock and then Download mode allowed me to root everything successfully.

Hello Rvl7,
I tried flashing philz touch version with no success, then I tried TWRP 2.8.7.0 withe Odin 3.10.6 and it worked like a charm. Now Im fully rooted with no problems.
Hi everybody.
I have a Samsung Galaxy A5 (6) 2016 (SM-A510F) with android 6.0.1.
I tried to root with CF-Auto Root and did everything as supposed to. But when the phone reboot it says always recovery is not seandroid enforcing.
So I did the same procedure again with the ODIN always and I unchecked the AUTO Reboot. But now ODIN says with green letters RESET. Did i just reset my phone?
I flashed the same file. I followed the procedure to the letter as said in the CF-AutoRoot thread. But I can;t understand whats wrong. I always use to root my phones but was Sony not Samsung. :crying:
What can I do?
The phone now suppose to be 6.0.1 or 5 android version? If it reseted it fully i mean.
Plus my knox warranty void number is 1. So that means that the first time worked but i didnt know what to do after that message.
Is the Ashyx method [TWRP 3.0.2-1][ROOT] GALAXY A5(2016) - sm-a510 - UPDATE 5/4/2016 capable of rooting my phone now? Or i have to put the stock rom inside and after try to root?
Save me please! I hope i didnt brick it.
Thanks a lot guys. I hope for a quick response! xx

If your device is bricked and not getting it back with Odin, try out the smart switch from samsung, there youll have EMERGENCY RECUPERATION, which leaves your device as it was.

Did you flashed twrp on Ur device?
for install cfautoroot you must install twrp.tar on your PC (download from here https://dl.twrp.me/klte/twrp-3.0.2-2-klte.img.tar). then you must flash it via odin.
to flash it make sure you installed your device drivers on PC and enabled USB debugging in developer options.
then boot your phone in downloading mode by pressing power+home+volume down button. then connect your phone to the PC. open odin app and choose the recovery.tar you install from the link i gave you. flash it and wait until finish(maybe 2 or 3 min) and then reboot your device to recovery by pressing power+home+volume up button. flash your cfautoroot and enjoy [emoji5] .

I get the same exact thing on a sm-g900t3 (Galaxy S5 - tmobile, north America) Oddly enough I can get https://twrp.me/devices/samsunggalaxys5qualcomm.html installed no problem, but whenever I try to install root, either the supersu.zip via twrp or chainfire's autoroot directly from his site, it just bootloops into recovery.

I actually got it working, by installing a different version of supersu. The one I had was an update-supersu. I then found the full version and it worked. It did reboot itself a couple of times. The cf autoroot did not work for me at all. I opened it up in 7-zip and only saw cache and recovery, nothing related to supersu. I would like to tell anyone that the roms from sammobile did work, but I had to try a couple of them before i found the one which would flash properly.
If you extract the boot.IMG (or recovery.IMG I don't remember but not cach.ext4) and flash it via TWRP it does the trick. That's what worked for me.
