I recently install Hitman Sniper on my Note 4N910C and it has caused the screen to start flickering none stop. The icons also jump about on the screen and mesh with others. I've tried to do a hard factory reset thinking that it is a software error. But the screen still has the same problems.. Do you guys think I should get my Note 4 replaced?
OK, so I've tried doing a Hard Reset on my device and I still get the same problem. I've recently visited my local Samsung Smart Centre to see if they could fix my device but seeing that it is UAE model they refused to have anything to do with it and ask me to contact my retailer to have it fixed. I was told that it maybe a firmware error.
So I did allot of research online and found out how to restore the firmware back to the way I had it. I downloaded Odin version 3.10 and the official UAE firmware for my device from Sammobile. I follow the instructions to the letter and I still have the same problem!
Does anybody have any advice they can give me with regards to the problem that I am having?
Same issue here!!

Hi
i bought the phone From EGYPT
Withn the last Week i cant remember exactly when i got a software update around 110MB
after installing it iam facing issue with my mobile screen it keep distorted
everytime i press on the power or while iam using it
the screen split in half sometimes in random shapes and i have to turn the
screen on off many times to overcome this
in the background the phone working normally and the touch shfited
since few days i got another small software update but no help
i forrmetted the phone . removed any app but still get that error
idont know if this a hardware failure or software failure
i confrim that problem happened after getting the 1st update i not seeing it
before but may it just a luck
i attach some screenshoots for the problem
Note : i downloaded from sammobile the Egypt Rom again and reinstalled same problem
I'm not sure why you didn't take it back and claimed the warranty after that OTA update, but it's too late for it now if you flashed your N3 ??
If flashing a new stock ROM didn't help, it's probably a HW issue, take it back and hope they will fix it on a warranty.
I was trying to root my at&t s6 edge+ using Odin. As soon as the process completed, my phone froze on Samsung screen. Then I tried wiping cache and data but nothing worked. I downloaded few stock ROM for Odin but flashing keeps on failing. I read in some thread that new Samsung devices do not support downgrading. I went and checked my current build number and found that to be G928AUCS4CPK1. However, the firmware I was trying to flash were older version.
Has anyone experienced similar issue before? The main problem here is I cannot find the exact build number anywhere. I spent a lot of time searching and finally decided to post here.
Your valuable suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
hey man, you flashed an older version of the firmware? even if it wasnt bricked, your phone is essentially useless now. the efs is gone, meaning you cant make phonecalls or connect to wifi at all. sorry; your phone is bricked. perm.
download mode dosen`t work ?if so the only thing you can try is to use samsung kies to restore your phone but don`t know if that works
I done something similar to my standard S6 Edge the only difference was i was able to start it up ok and i thought everything was ok until i realised i had no reception. I so happened to notice my imei number was gone. I had no back ups of the partition that saved this info so i totally bricked my phone.
I did however find a website that would be able to do a work around ( for a fee of course) for it however it does question your morals as its essentially illegal in alot of countries. I dont want to post anything on here so if you want any info send me a PM.
Exact same thing happened to me... went to AT&T repair center but they didn't have the 'K1' firmware..
anyhow managed to find the latest firmware (gsm-firmware.com)... cost me $4, but the phone is up and running... I only flashed the AP file.. also used Odin 3.12.5..
Hello, im new to this forum
Ive bought a Samsung Galaxy A5 back in September 2015 to my girlfriend.
At the time i opened the case to see if it was everything ok with it before giving it to her. unfortunately i installed oficial updates in the phone after connecting the device to the internet.
Wanting to give the phone just like ive bought it, i started to making all things wrong. i tried to reset the phone back to the factory reset (using the volume up + home + power buttons) but after that the version that was still installed was the updated one and not the factory one.
Then i tried to download the factory version from here htt p://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?r=&v=&q=Galaxy+A5+205 using odin and this guide htt p://updato.com/how-to/how-to-install-an-official-samsung-stock-firmware-using-odin
it was installed but when the phone restarted it never turned back on again. despite being the correct version for my region i believe i installed a variant version and not the factory reset version.
I tried turning the phone on, using recovery mode and download mode keys but the phone never gave any signal again. plugin in the usb in the pc didnt work either.
I ended up buying the same phone since i wasnt able to solve the problem and her anniversary was close and ended up with an extra but damaged phone.
i never tried to get the phone to the warranty because i knew that i was losing the it the moment i tried to use odin.
is there anything else i can try to solve the phones problem? or is this problem unrecoverable?
thanks in advance
I can't tell you if your phone is unrecoverable but I think you had flashed other variant's rom causing your mobile not turning on. I don't see any a500fu on the website you posted. If possible, could you tell me which variant you had flashed. I had ever experienced a hard-brick when my device was accidentally removed while odin was flashing aboot.mbn. The solution was changing the motherboard which didn't cost much. I would recommend you to flash firmware from sammobile and do NOT use 4.4.4 firmware as few friends on this forum had experienced hard-bricks. If you want, try a usb jig.
Try warranty, you can have the chance of getting it repaired.

It must have been other variant rom.
http s://gyazo. com/7ac9dfe107976eeb802cae50a23b23a1 - here is a screenshot
Samsung Galaxy-A500FU - to get there you need to go to "updato" site (first link), place on the search "Galaxy A5" and select Portugal as "region"
There are 7 options, 6 are for locked phones to the main Portuguese operators and one for unlocked phones (i assume), because it says "Porgugal TPH" - TPH means the phone house witch is a store that sells phones and other electronic equipment.
Despite the phone not being bought at the phone house i assumed it was this rom since there was no other one and the phone is not locked to a particular operator.
Ive checked the site you provided and it as almost the same romĀ“s as updato and the only one that is not locked to a particular operator is TPH one.
So my only option is to use a usb jig to force the phone into download mode? will that work with or without a motherboad change?
please have in mind that the phone does not respond to any other button or combination of buttons comand and trying to charge the phones battery only produces heat at the phone and charger, nothing else happens.
So here's the thing, my mom gave me her Galaxy Grand Prime. Both the LCD and Digitizer screens were broken. So I replaced them and both were working successfully. So I went into the hidden service menu while I was checking it out. While in there I clicked to update Touch Screen Firmware (TSF). I then exited from the hidden service menu and UH-OH. The touchscreen wasn't working properly. To Click on any thing I had to touch below and to the right of what I wanted to click (unless below and to the right was off screen, in which case I couldn't access it. So then I Hard Factory Reset the phone. Unfortunately it still did the same thing. I searched web for a solution with no luck (not even a sign of anyone having such an issue). The device is not rooted. So can anyone tell me what I can do? I tried to find a Original Touchscreen Firmware file I might could use recovery mode to flash install on there from memory card. Or do I have to replace touchscreen/digiter screen again?
Hi I have exactly the same issue as you and did exactly the same as my screen play playing up and that was recommended and now it's of no use.
Hi All,
I'm really sorry, I'm completely new to all this so hope I'm posting in the right area and explain this issue correctly!
I purchased a dead SAMSUNG T580 Galaxy Tab off ebay and managed to repair the hardware fault which I was pleased about but then encountered the dreaded FRP lock so I still can't use the thing. It's running firmware T580XXS5CTK1 and I've no idea what to do with it now, it's not got the assist option when trying the add network trick, so then I thought I could perhaps use Odin with combination firmware but the only combination firmware I could find even remotely similar was T580XXU5ATD1 which I didn't really expect to work and I was right, the tab just got stuck in a loop and I ended up re-flashing with the T580XXS5CTK1 to get it back to starting correctly.
Does anyone have any suggestions how I can get rid of this lock please? I only bought the thing as an amusement thing during lockdown but it'd be nice to get it fully functional!

Sorry to say, but FRP is there for a reason. Best to get another device which is unlocked
I got a similar problem. Stuck on 32% with "no command".
For usual, I frozen the emergency service, but I unfrozen all to update apps in samsungs store.
After a restart I got a frp lock, rom was a modified stock of T580XXS5CTK1 and twrp.
I was surprised that I can't solve it this time.
I know fully acc details and pin, but how to use it?
I bought another Tablet, but the A6 is a unique one, I would be very thankful for some help.
I don't know a tablet is solid, stable and easy to repair like A6, some games it still can handle.
Original packaging, invoice, all available, password and pin known, help me please.
