I recently took the plunge and flashed a lollipop ROM on my phone. I found it following the Ground Zero ROM link to Google Plus. https://plus.google.com/communities/109330559573276360638. I'm having good results with it so far. I thought I would share with you all. ROM Dev has only just released it so hasnt had time to post up here.

hey yall, am i the only one who finds myself checking in the development section and searching twitter for a new froyo rom for the Vibrant? lol Someone has a Rom working and you have to do the adb method and all this and it has a few errors. This phone seems like a power house. A5ren't yall ready for some Clockworks flashable roms? I wish Paul's Modaco custom rom for the galaxy S 19000 was compatible with this
Yeah I'm too checking the forums daily but it is what it is. I was on a cliq XT with 1.5 so i'm still happy at 2.1. I've just reached the point that I'm admitting I had Motorola couple weeks ago i would have never said that.
Either way September is when 2.2 is due so its just a matter of time.

Kernels are now flashable, wes has updated & chimed in with more progress of the CM build, most of the devs are working with each other to get at least 1ROM running. What more do you want? Oh CM dropped, flash, cool.... now what? Learn??? Develop?

i start building ResurrectionRemix-M-v5.6.0 for the OnePlus X and now i need someone to test this rom I ordered the OnePlus X yesterday so i can´t test it for now. The rom is based on the newest Android 6 and ResurrectionRemix to make the rom awesome.
Can this rom destroy my phone?
No it can´t. The only thing that can happen that your phone stucked on the boot screen. If this happen just flash another rom and all is fine.

I always loved their roms! They kind of abandoned their website it seems (aokp.co) but their basketbuild and Google+ is very active!

I exclusively ran aokp on my old galaxy nexus. Not sure I've ever had anything from them on my shamu, until now

Just tried to flash open gapps 7.1 to it, and it failed because the rom check says it's Marshmallow 6.0.1. not sure, haven't got to test it, anyone get it working?

It's still there, at the very bottom of the page. Guess it's not actually Nougat when you flash it though.
Confirmed is not a Nougat build. I posted on their G+ page and one of the devs said it was a mistake and removed it. He also said it's not being built "yet"

haven't tried to load and likely wont but if one of you more adventurous types wants to load aokp then without rebooting load a custom 6.x rom it MIGHT not bootloop depending of course on where the issue lies

Figured I would blow the dust off this thread to say that it looks like some magic is happening.

With a size of '0.0 Mb', I guess the only magic happening is a bricked phone.
I LOVED Aokp ... all I ran on my N4 until they stopped..... I MAY try it... but I finally found a perfect stable ROM at the moment that has SMartBar. AOKP was the first one I found that I could edit Navigation bar .... can't have it any other way now.
Any development on resurrection remix Nogut will be available or not

Actually someone released a Chinese build... I've used it. That ROM works rather well but Wi-Fi appeared to have some issues. I'll try to find the link and share here.
And also if someone can work on that build, I'll be extremely happy.
I think one of our developers is already working on it.
Patience is the key ( Although I know it's hard lol) we'll see Resurrection Remix Nougat soon

Thanks, I have used this build and except for hotspot, I didn't face any other issues.
I didn't want to share the link since the developer didn't share it himself, probably our dev wants to refine it a bit more before sharing it.

I've been using Sac23 s9 Ported ROM as my only daily driver since i bought this phone back in July last year. I've tried other ROMs (Lineage, Blackpearl, One UI port) but for either missing features, or performance issues I ended up back at Sac23's port. Sac also has a Pie port but many say its very buggy so i havne't tried it yet.

Some ungrateful people gave Sac problems over his file hosting so he closed the thread. I downloaded his work before everything got deleted though so lucky me
