Does anyone know beyond the fact that it is based off google cardboard how the VR keynote will work. I already have my viewer ordered but does anyone know how one plus pans to stream it . Are they going to use the 360 lenses that make 1080p 360 video or are they actually going to use a multi-camera rig?
I think it just going to be a standard conference that streams in 3D, I don't see them using 360 degree video.
I imagine you just download their app and watch the conference shot using 3D cameras.
This may help

Hi guys. We have 2 2013 edition LG Google Tvs in the house, what I want to do is
play a video recorded on the device and shoot it to the Googletv.
I used to use imediashare, but apparently that app is dead. and it was a bit clunky anyway.
What apps are you guys using to accomplish this?
I really Wish google would get on the ball and add chrome cast functionality to Googletv! argghh.
Thanks
Many Android devices are now getting this option under the resolution options but on the Player it still just has 720p/1080p non 60FPS. Is there any way to force it to play it?
Not at the moment but you could try to sideload the Sony tv version of YouTube which you can find at apkmirror

What is it called? I can't find it. Does the Sony TV version have 60fps?
I've tried looking for the app but I can't find it either - tried looking in my download folders and saved apks. The Sony TV version was supposed to have a better UX and deal better with higher bitrate video.
I think this is it. Found in my google drive: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B74pS2tbwueaLWxIbTZxUnhTWkk
The nexus player can't deal with 4K so it won't be available on it - the high bitrate would cause pixelation and buffering. The only shield tv is the only android tv system that I know that can play 4K.

Apple TV 4 has gained Siri & App support and now are completing with the 2ed gen Fire TV, which one is the better streaming device ?
Here is the comparison / review , Enjoy

Best Apps on Apple TV 4K
You can now easily sideload apps using a Mac system direct to your Apple TV 4K device. Its not a Jailbreak its developer signing service which allows you to install and use apps for Full 1 Year. This account costs $99 so you can either buy Apple Developer account but if you do not want to get into all the code signing and just want to install apps as
KODI on Apple TV 4K
so all steps by step information is available. Hope everyone finds this information some use.
Hey guys...I just got this phone today because of the 240fps video capture, however when I gogo to play videos I can't do a frame by frame playback. I've taken slo-mo videos with an iPhone and the playback is awesome where I can scroll with my finger the exact speed forwards or backwards frame by frame.
Is there any kind of slo-mo player similar to the iPhone's for the nexus 6p? Even the one the Samsung note 5 was pretty good...but this photos player or anything that I've used in the play store sucks. the best would be if someone could get the iPhone's picture preview app to this phone.
Been looking everywhere online and there just isn't anything it there lol...why doesn't anyone make something like this? Is it that hard?
Seriously though even the one on the Samsung would be ok but this playback on Google photos suck
Ok so if anyones interested in using the slow mo for sports I finally found the best app for it to playback slowly frame by frame. The app is called coach's eye...ive now used it a few times and I have no idea why its only rated as 3.9 stars...to me its so nice and would rate it 5 stars.
The app is free if you just want to record and playback, but if you wanna start drawing lines and other options I think you have to pay like $15 or something. Either way the app is awesome and anyone that wants to use it for sports needs this app especially for golf =).

You may try some 3d movies
You can try video player with YouTube support, play the 3D or 360 videos.
My best pick is Solar system VR.. Earth imagery is amazing!!
Try TrinusVR and play any PC game in VR. Thats the best experience i've made with my S5.
You can emulate with this a HTC Vive and play the Steam VR games or try the ShowdownVR DEMO. They are far better than any MobileVR App so far.
Watch the insidious apk on google play. One of the best ive seen.
Here is my list of my favorite Cardboard games:
Trinus VR
Proton Pulse
Hidden Temple
I See Ooo VR
Relax VR
VR Tank
Also, you can find my review on each of that games on my blog here
Enjoy !
Search for "NOMone VR Browser" on google play. Now you can see enjoy surfing the web in VR or just watch any video/ movie as if you are in a cinema . Or if you are into reading manga , I think it's gonna be a good experience .
