I love the handset except the low in call volume. Someone pls help. I have rooted the handset using kingroot app and have tried several apps to increase the call volume but no success. Somebody pls let me know if I can do any changes in engineer mode or edit any lib keys. Thanks.
Installing MaxxAudio or AudioFX might fix the problem.
Dolby doesnt do good with this device , except on my Grado and philips headphones.

Been looking to boost the loundspeaker such as it is found some guides about editting lines in mixer_path.xml, only thing is my file does not have the values that the guides have which is why I asking the question, anybody know how to boost the volume of the loudspeaker ? I know the risks about blowing the speaker so did not want to just add the lines that I found, any advice or an app that is known to boost the loudspeaker ? Thanks in advance
Nobody knows? Or is everyone happy with the loudspeaker volume?
Have tried a few volume boost apps but they don't cut the mustard
I know you can use Kodi for video and audio files and it has an option to boost volume. You can even get a youtube plugin for those of you like. As for app and games no idea.

Hi, if I may, the answer to a louder sound from built-in speaker, as my colleagues have posted can be achieved by Volume Booster, from omega Centauri, a gemini from an reader app they make. Note that to avoid damage it only boost mid frequencies, avoiding bass and high treble. The quality lowers. So, kernels like Perseus, Devil, Shift, I could name the majority, have customized the approach with algorithms that have names like Boeffla, Faux and many others important, that are drivers lile ALSA for Linux or kernel mode WDM for W. And now try a Note 2 N 7100/7105 with and without Boeffla and all will become clear, specially the effort of developers that we admire. Congrats. :fingers-crossed: sorry for the bad english included.
Thanks all for the suggestions, none of them give me a boost that makes it louder through the speaker, , I also forgot that you can boost the system volume with Viper4Android(which boosts the speaker volume fine on my other device a oneplusone), this also does not work on the Nexus 7,I will have to just live with the low speaker volume as I cannot get it any louder
Hello,
I desperately tried to increase the headphone volume. I checked every method but none fixed my Problem, there is no success editing prop files or something like that

System/etc/audio then search for mixer there will pop up 15 files one of them is it... unfortunately i don't know which of them because I'm not tried it on this phone...
(If you find which it is and edit dont forget to restart afterwards otherwise it won't work)
I suggest getting Viper4Android installed if you can.
It includes a Xtra Loud option that boosts the volume.

This is also possible with Viper.
For example by activating certain Convolvers. You can find suitable ones here on XDA (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2216193).
Just remember to activate Expert UI settings in Viper to display all the options.

Please see here https://forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z1/themes-apps/apps-to-gain-microphone-volume-t3450390 don't know if zui kernel supports sound modifications, but you can try to install kernel Adiutor and test. Maybe someone knows it?
Hi! I have problem with sound quality on the speaker. The sound on any custom rom is without bass. On Stock rom is very good. Is it possible custom rom does't have some audio drivers or frameworks ? Could someone do some MOD for this??

Use Dolby plus on magisk. Set the fx curve to U shaped in custom settings. It gives some quality sound; creates depth in the audio. However, if you want headphone-like bass, its not possible on this phone due to speaker hardware.
