Hey guys,
Im trying to get my G2 to run the latest MIUI release - however i've run into some problems.
Background:
- D802
- Running Cloudy 3.2 (L)
- TWRP 2.8.6.1 installed and working
- MIUI ROM - Author: gtbluesky Version: 5.6.20 (MIUI6) Size: 886.29M
So I boot into Recovery, Flash the ROM, Wipe caches, wipe data, wipe system, flash the ROM again for good measure, reboot.
At this point, the device sits on the MIUI boot screen forever - it does not boot.
What am I doing wrong here? I think, the issue could be that the ROM above is based on KK and not L, where as I am running L. Does this mean I need to flash the KK Bootloader before I flash the MIUI ROM?
Im going to attempt to sideload and reflash Cloudy in the mean time, but I assume that using autorec to flash a KK BL and THEN booting into recovery to flash MIUI would fix the issue?
Any help appreciated..
EDIT:
_ can access the device via logcat, and can use fastboot/adb etc. I'm now back up and running on Cloudy thanks to adb sideload.

Hi everyone,
So i'm having an issue with my Galaxy S4 GT-i9505. It seems that any custom ROM I try to flash it with just gets stuck at Boot. I can always restore to stock so its not that big of a deal but still I'd like to be able to use a custom ROM on it one of these days !
Here's what I did so far:
1) The phone was rooted with CF Autoroot, then flashed TWRP recovery with Odin 3.x
2)Tried to install Omega Rom v9. With Data, Cache, Delpik wipe. Stuck at Samsung logo after reboot
3) Restored back to stock
4) Repeated 2)
5)Tried to install PAC Rom, again Data, Cache wipe, Flashed Gapps before Reboot
6)Stuck at "PAC loading" logo
7)Tried 5) again without flashing Gapps. Still stuck
8)Back to stock
I'm thinking of trying to flash a Pre-Rooted Rom like some of DJeMBeY. Anyway, can someone point me in the right direction ?

I think that the cloudy 3.0 patched version use other partition. You had to flash first of all a restore partition .zip, search the combination of other variant lg g2, to boot in download mode, or recovery. I had a similar problem, and i've resolved booting phone with other hardwere keys combination. If this don't work you need a linux pc to resolve and a little bit of hope. If boot in reocovery, flash the restore partition.zip reboot recovery and than flash what do you want.
I have been using CM12.1 on an LG G2 D802 and decided to upgrade the device to CM 13 today. As the device was running the stock 4.4 ROM before I initially switched to CM 12.1, I figured it would already have the Kitkat bootloader installed and proceeded to download the latest CM 13 nightly from the CM page as well the stock OpenGapps package. I then booted into TWRP (v2.6.3.3), wiped system, dalvik, data and cache and then flashed the ROM and the Gapps package which worked just fine.
However, when I selected "reboot system", the screen went black. I turned the phone off by pressing the power button. turned it on again and found that the LG logo flashes up for less than 1 second, then the screen goes black again. Gladly, I am still able to boot into TWRP. I then searched the forums, decided to try the latest Lollipop bootstack from this thread and reflashed the ROM and the Gapps package, but the problem still persits.
I am now thinking if my seriously outdated TWRP version is causing the problem, but I hesitate to update that (as it is basically the only working thing on the phone right now) without making sure that it really could be the problem.
Do you have any tips for me what could be the problem and how I can fix the phone?
Thank you very much!
Any help is appreciated

to boot into system you need hybrid bootstacks, and definitiverly need thermal twrp 2.8.7.3
you could either do both. download twrp and bootstaclks the hybrid ones.
first update twrp if you want. but i recomend as it has thermal to control heat during installations
once you in twrp. wipe all. then reboot into recovery from recovery.
flash hybrid bootstacks then again reboot into recovery from recovery, and when you in twrp flash rom it should boot.
just remeber to reboot into recovery each time you flash twrp ot hybrids to take effect.
Hello,
I have a lg g2 d800. I was trying to flash the latest cyanogenmod 13.0 snapshot. I was on cyanogenmod 12.1 the older june snapshot. I booted into recovery and stupidly did not make a backup because I am an idiot. I did a reset before I flashed the rom ( system, cache, dalvik). I flashed the rom and gapps and there were not any problems. I try to reboot the phone and it is just stuck in a boot loop. I have twrp installed. I can access twrp fine. I just need some tips on getting a different nightly or snapshot (I will probably use an older 12.1 snapshot) onto my phone to flash it.
Thanks in advance.
Hey guys,
I'm having trouble updating both my recovery and flashing a new ROM.
My bootloader is unlocked and I'm rooted, currently have TWRP 2.8.7.0 and the final release of OxySlim 2.2.0 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/development/rom-oxyslim-t3278169
Whenever I flash a new recovery via adb/fastboot I just get stuck on the One+ bootscreen.
I have to reflash 2.8.7.0 to get access to recovery again.
I've been trying to move to Seraph's ParanoidAndroid here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/development/5-1-1-paranoid-android-5-1-t3205522
Or to Grarak's CM 13 here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/orig-development/rom-official-cyanogenmod-13-t3392278
I've also tried flashing Seraph's HybridRecovery 3.4 with no luck.
Am I missing something? I flashed all the version of OxySlim with no problems.
Quick update.
I've flashed halogenOS: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/development/rom-halogenos-oneplus-2-t3377799
It booted up but I couldn't select a language... strange.
So I tried to boot into recovery and it stuck on the boot screen.
I've now flashed the latest TWRP (3.0.2) and it's working. Currently doing a full wipe and trying halogenOS again.
