[Q] N4 Stuck Looping on Boot Animation - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello All
I've managed to make my Nexus 4 quite useless after running the battery all the way down. Initially I was able to revive my completely stock 5.1.1 by flashing TWRP and running fix disk permissions, but after reaching about 70 or 80 percent charge the phone rebooted itself and got stuck at the animation loop again. Strangely I can no longer make either of the bottom two touch menu entries in TWRP click after this to reach fix disk permissions, though the back/home/console output buttons do work. Strangely, fix permissions via CWM 6.0.3.3 does not do the trick. I've since tried loading AOKP 4.4 and 4.3 paired at various times with TWRP or CWM, both of which also get stuck looping part of the boot animation, as well as reflashing both stock 5.1.0 and 5.1.1 which give me the same. What should I try next? Though I have guessed around quite a lot here, I think the TWRP menu touch options failure is the best clue so far.
Thanks
Sam

Nexus 10 won't boot - solved

I tried (clean) flashing a droid concepts build over on droid-hive a little while ago and everything went ok when flashing. I tapped reboot system in twrp and the screen went black and didn't boot. I can't get it to boot consistently either into the os or into fastboot. It'll occasionally let me into recovery and I tried restoring a backup and also just rebooting from recovery and it won't boot at all. When it is plugged up, it'll show the charging icon when I tap the power button like it does when the screen is off. I've tried everything I can think of. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Edit - I finally got it into fastboot and I flashed the stock google image. Its working now.

[Q] I somehow lost my recovery?

So I was running CWM (Philz) I believe, and I had been running into issues while on rooted 4.2.2 D800 stock ROM. There were force closes and random reboots, etc. I've only installed xposed mods. I've also used android tuner to adjust some of the build.prop and kernel presets.
However, after my phone got stuck in what I thought was a boot loop, I finally got it up and running. What happened next was odd. I tried booting into recovery -> the "LG" splash screen showed up and it went into another infinite boot loop.
I'm assuming I somehow corrupted or lost my recovery. Any advice on what to do? I don't know if I should follow the original instructions for flashing a recovery here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2633150.
Edit: Jesus christ my phone infuriates and confuses the hell out of me. After attempting to enter the recovery again, I am now stuck in a permanent boot loop. The last time I fixed it was by turning my phone off....and then *WAITING*.
What? That doesn't make sense you say? Of course it doesn't. But that's still what worked. I waited 12 hours, and then tried turning it on again. When I did, oh look, the AT&T screen!
CONFUSING. help please...
Double edit (Hard Mode): Going into download mode when I'm in this constant bootloop = nothing happens. That little icon that says "Download Mode" with the 5 blue circles just stays there, and my laptop ends up not recognizing anything. This happened the last time too, and all I was able to see on my laptop was "QHSUSB_BULK". I thought this meant that I would have to do a complete wiping process through Linux (found on another thread somewhere), but apparently waiting 12 hours also fixed the problem.

N4 Semi-Brick? Can I recover?

Hi,
I have a N4 that was new but the screen cracked on it and eventually the battery died as well (wouldent hold a charge). I got the battery and screen replaced but as soon as this happened I could not boot into any rom. I had twrp installed but everytime I tried to install a rom such as CM it would install but would stay stuck in the boot loader. I then used NRT to try and kick it out of bootloader and I tried several different stock firmwares, 5.01, 4.4.4, and 4.2. The only rom that was able to get past the boot animation was 4.2 it went to the welcome screen to choose a language but I could not select anything via touch screen. In that screen I could lower and raise the volume via the rockers and turn the screen on and off. I had twrp installed and the touchscreen worked fine in twrp. I also tried this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/general/tutorial-how-to-unbrick-n4-t2347060 and it also let me get into the developer firmware but of course it is encrypted so I could do nothing. The phone has not had contact with water etc. Do I have any other options? Can I get some type of diagnostic such as logcat or something?
Thanks!

Can't boot Tab 4 past Samsung Logo

Kind of a serious problem here, where my Tab 4 (10.1) won't boot past the Samsung logo. It'll get to the point where it's swirling stars around the logo and making the usual bootup noises, but it just stays there and does not boot into the home screen.
Could this be a hardware; ie. motherboard or battery issue, or does it sound more like a software-based issue? I booted into the standard recovery and tried wiping data/factory reset, but no difference.
As far as I can recall, the Tab was not rooted (not 100% sure, but recovery is pretty basic. Not CWM/TWRP, which would be more likely if it was rooted).
I had this when trying some ROMs, i had to DL the stock Firmware from sammobile or any other site like it and reflash to stock. The stock firmewares on here would not work. It's the only solution that worked, also had to erase everything, internal storage too.

S4 stuck in bootloop on stock android

My Galaxy S4 VE (GT-I9515) crashed. (the screen went black) It was not rooted and ran the latest Andoid 5.0.1 ROM.
When I turned it on, it went into a bootloop, randomly crashed during booting, or turned on normally. I removed sd and sim card and tried a different battery. Furthermore I tried to boot into recovery mode and wiped the system data and the cache. It did not help.
Sometimes it was not possible to get into recovery mode because the phone's screen went black and it rebooted.
Then I tried flashing multiple stock ROM files using Odin, but it did not solve the problem.
After that i tried rooting the device and installed a custom recovery (TWRP), but i still got random crashes during booting and sometimes it got stuck showing the samsung boot animation. The only things that work reliably are the Download Mode and the charging animation.
Now, what can I do to fix my phone?
I read a bit about flashing a .pit file but I don't think that will help?
Is this a hardware or a software issue?
How can I find out, what caused the problem?
