The HotROM Box - Official Build
Hey everyone! I'm mrnickel and today, for the first time, I'm releasing The HotROM Box, for Moto G 2nd Generation, which consists in a Tool that provides simple but great commands, such as Stock ROM flashing, Direct reboot to bootloader and others...
Main Features
Stock ROM Flashing method
TWRP Recovery Flashing method
Phone Reboot option
Reboot to Bootloader option
Reboot to Recovery option
Dealing with The HotROM Box
1.1: Install
-Copy all files to the folder where your Stock ROM files are located.
1.2: Usabillity
Windows: .bat interactive menu
Linux: .sh interactive menu using Zenity
1.3: F.A.Q (Frequently Asked Questions)
- Q: ROM flashing doesn't work!
- A: You're probably using mFastboot, an alternative version of fastboot. Install the original version and this issue will be solved (until I release a alternative version)
- Q: TWRP flashing doesn't work!
- A: If you haven't downloaded this file via xda official thread some stuff may be corrupted. TWRP image is uploaded with the script and you must copy those to your ROM folder.
- Q: ETA?
- A: Please, do not ask this kind of question. I'm not a dev, I just like (very much) to program some cool stuff, and if something on the code goes wrong, warn me and i'll fix it and release a new version as soon as I can.
- Q: Will you add more features?
- A: Always, this tool will grow with features as the way I improve my programming skills.
Changelog

I'm back with some news!
Hey guys!
I've been away for a couple of months due studies, but I have some cool news
The HotROM Box is being PORTED for Linux, most precisely, Debian based distributions!
Now I'm only fixing some bugs, but at the end of the week, HRB will be available for the Penguin for sure.
Note: HRB for Linux is an OFFICIAL PORT. In other words, I am the only maintainer... But that doesn't mean that I'm not open for help and suggestions, so after I release the first build, there will be a Poll so you guys can tell me how the tool is going.
I'm quite hyped to release it, so, see y'all really soon!

HotROM Box is now available for Linux!
Yes! It's done! Now you can flash your stuff on Linux too
I am mirroring all the releases through HRB Github repo. Mediafire and MEGA links will only provide previous versions.
As always: Links in OP, as well as the Vote Poll.
Thanks for all the support, it's been a lot fun to develop and update this tool for you guys
PS: Oh, and take a minute to answer the vote poll. I will be glad to know what you guys thought about this new version
PPS: Windows users: I WILL update it too. Actually, I'm planning on adapting to some other language... Maybe Java? xD
Cya!

[APP] RecoverX (Mobile) - A recovery installer

RecoverX Mobile Edition
Hello xda fellows ! Let me introduce my app :
RecoverX allow you to install a custom recovery with ease
But what is a custom recovery ?
A recovery is a dedicated and bootable partition in almost all android devices. Custom recoveries offers much more features and allow you to install custom roms, to backup or restore your device, to flash zips, to mount partitions and more..
It's pretty easy ! You just need a compatible device, a root access and for some device, an unlocked bootloader.
You just have to select your phone and your recovery (between cwm recovery, twrp recovery, amon-ra recovery, xrecovery), to click "Install" and RecoverX does the rest, It's as simple as that
Finally, I use the awesome XDA DevDB so if you notice any bug or you wish to have a feature to be added, just use the development database options.
To boot in recovery mode (depending of the device) :
- Click on the button when the installation is complete.
- Or boot in recovery by using your bootloader.
- Or press back button when the device start.
- Or press volume button when the device start.
- Or tap the screen when the device start.
DOWNLOAD
For those who are unable to access the google play store, the apk is available in the download section

I'm wondering if this is compatible to MTK devices. Maybe, Maybe not.
But MTK devices uses MobileUncleTools to flash our custom recovery from recovery.img and get stucked to the old versions of CWM. Maybe this could help us be updated =')
This is a fantastic tool!! Thanks!!

I saw the supported devices but the One X that you listed was the Tegra 3 variant of the snapdragon?
Wanted to look and see what devices you supported to see how difficult it would be to add some of the unloved devices i port cwm to, but it seems you are already grabbing the list off of rom manager's site.

About
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Cyanogenmod. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application: [url]http://www.mfunz.com/en/developer-application,[/url] you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!
Features:
(I will mention only that which does not take into CyanogenMod)
Listview animation
Interpolation anmação listview
Update over the air can download the download website only incremental, it helps lower faster update and upgrade more easily:
Some icons and own layouts
Manager for Google services, so no need to use a large gapps, you can only download necessary at MokeeCenter
Ringtones, Alarms, Notification, UI sounds are all different CyanogenMod, thus bringing a beautiful charm to rom
bootianimation own
information integrated into MokeeCenter
Settings to add speed data network
Settings for navigation bar
Settings for Statusbar
Intelligent control settings to configure the newer apps and others.
What is the difference?
RELEASE: Tested after integrating new features, more stable than NIGHTLY. (Odexed builds)
NIGHTLY: Built daily with newest code and experimental features, might contain undiscovered bugs. (Deodexded builds)
HISTORY: Final odexded builds once a newer Android version is out and being built.
EXPERIMENTAL: Released when a new device is added or when a new feature is added for public beta testing and feedback. (Deodexded builds)
UNOFFICIAL: Maintained separately by individual developers, usually involves modification of shared code which cannot be merged (affects other devices), therefore maintained by the developer himself.
Note: We always test the shared code for bugs, however sometimes we may not be able to detect device specific bugs. If you have such issues, it will be better to report to the device maintainer.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8.0 (Oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
Working :
Boots
RIL (Call and SMS)
Wi-Fi
Audio
Video Playback
GPS
Led
Everything else
Not Working :
Nothing from what I can tell
Instructions :
Download the latest build here
Download gapps (Open GApps for example)
Reboot to recovery
Flash the build and gapps
Reboot
Reporting Bugs :
DO NOT Report bugs if you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

@brunorochaa00 Why do you keep creating new ROMs when you do not, or can not support the ones you have previously released? They all pretty much have the same bugs. Have you been successful with building the official kernel source? Have you tried? I have, unsuccessfully. I usually build kernels fairly easily, but this kernel seems impossible. You post a new ROM then disappear for days to build another one. I would suggest you pick a few and stick with them. Just my 2 cents.
EDIT: I truly do appreciate your efforts, but building ROMs as a hobby just for the sake of building them, without supporting them is not good for any of us. If there are other support channels for some of these ROMs, please let us know.

I sincerely apologize. I certainly was not telling you what to do by any means. Just making a suggestion.
Regarding the kernel, Great news! I have not seen the updated PE thread. I will check it after this reply. Curious to know, what was the trick to building the kernel? I tried some kernel patches, but none helped. I keep dying in the build with vdso errors. Grrr!

[MAGISK] [MODULE] Font Manager for Emojis and Fonts

Say hello to the all new Font Manager!
The best all in one solution for your font and emoji needs.
Hello, it's us again and we're back with another module: Fontifier. This module will guaranteed revive any device with its 200+ available fonts and Emojis or your money back! (If only you had paid for it).
In all seriousness though, this module has a lot of fonts and Emojis to choose from and as such the possibilities are endless! More are coming soon.
This module has a simple, easy to use terminal interface to control it. This means it requires a terminal emulator such as Termux. To use it after installing simply run
Code:

and follow the on-screen instructions.
The module is now out in stable and you can use it with confidence!
Currently it does not support user provided fonts or font patching, this may change in the future but it's a rather low priority!

Anyone having issues, please make sure you're using 2.6.0 from the filehost. 2.5.1 references dead links!
I plan on trying to install again, my last try of version 7.3 didn't work for me, I am running an unofficial version of LOS 17.1 for the 1+7tproNR (HD1925) and it has the asop WebView I think, version 84.***... And it didn't get replaced with installation of magisk module, or did I miss a step?
I know 8.01 is out, that's why I am asking if I'm just barking up the wrong tree and it will never work?

I'm guessing you're referring to Webview Manager, which should go in it's respective thread, not here

@androidacy for the latest version, it didn't work for me at first.
I used Termux and ran the command su -c manage_fonts
But it seems it didn't load any fonts at all. Font list was empty always, even after updating the fonts. The fonts-list.txt and emoji-list.txt in /data/adb/modules/fontrevival as well as in External storage was still a zero byte file. Tried logging into root user first and then running the command, still the same issue.
However, for me it seems that curl command was accessible only from local user and not from root. So, since I was using Termux, I installed tsu package, switched to root using tsu command and then ran manage_fonts. This time it worked.
Maybe you can add those busybox commands as a dependency to this module as well. Or safest option would be for users to install it via Termux instead.
Font Manager 4 is out in beta!
