Hi Guys, I'm new here and i need help .. I'm trying to Flash a ROM ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/twrom-nameless-rom-t3123512 )
Is not first time when i'm trying to install custom roms on android phones..
My phone is ROOTED , i have SuperSU in Menu after data reset and cache, i can Wipe Data/factory reset and Wipe Cache. But i can't Update from External Storage or Adb
Phone give me this error on Recovery menu "Update from external storage is disabled"
What should i do ?
Please help me .. I don't know very well how to solve this , please give me a detailed fix...
Edit: Now i uninstalled SuperSu and still same.. Help me please

sounds like you forgot to install a custom recovery.
the stock recovery has those wipe/flash options too, but flashing options don't work or are limited to officially signed update packages.

And what can i do now? please help me ...
I tried to install Official Firmware with Oddin and is not working.. "FAIL" appear on oddin ..
I unnstalled SuperSu , Unrooted .
Now my phone is not rooted ..
But still same error "update from external storage is disabled"

As the dicemaster say,instal TWRP and flash from there
i have the same problem one mine, and i can fix that... someone can explain me please...

Ok, and how can TWRP be installed from that point? I tried flashing it, but the same updates from external sources are disabled prevents that also. How can TWRP be installed at that point? Any help plz...

1. Download Flyme OS 4.2.8.2A stock firmware an official webpage Meizu
2. Flash it in stock recovery and select WIPE DATA
3. Get root permission
4. Download and install that APK
5. Open that app, and provide root permission.
6. Press "Press to UNLOCK BootLoader" - and wait, you will see "Unlock Finished"
7. After, will be available recovery mode, and you press to "Enter Recovery Mode"
8. Your phone reboot and enters for normal recovery - TWRP 2.8.6.0
9. Flash CyanogenMod12.1 for meizu MX4 (20160106) 【360（code:78c8）】
## OTHERS:
- come back to FLYME:flash patched-recovery-mx4 with flashify and then flash update.zip(offficial)
- Android version of MX4 please download the contents of the MX4 directory, Ubuntu version please download the contents of the Arale directory

You must make sure that you can get Root , then you can use the software to unlock (BL).

The Flyme4.2.8.2 have ROOT, but you must login first. If you forget, you can ask your friend borrow a account.

The main problem is - my phone is second hand. When i try to login in my acc, phone don't do than because first user not log off in his flyme acc. I wrote in meizu support but they can not help me because i dont have invoice. First user cant help me.

You must put your firmware replacement for Flyme4.2.8.2，only this version unlocking brush into the CM not become brick

Recovery (philz touch) did not work fine -Everything is unmounted. I cant mount /system, /data, /cache beacuse i have: "error- mounting /data" (or /system, /cache)
What can i do ?
I want to fix my phone. Im going to install stock recovery and flash flyme os 4.0.4I - Is it enough ? or i cant to this beacuse i have no mounted /system ??
Please help me guys.

Not do the following flash will brick: unlock BL, update flymeOS4.2.8.2, use this software recovery(not philz);
Now you can enter fastboot or recovery? Or you can send the meizu after-sales,it is free.

I installed from fastboot stock recovery and flyme os 4.2.8.2, my phone finally works, i tried again to install cm12, and now all works fine, but your recovery is in chinese, i used philz recovery from slowsunet topic.
Everything looks great, finally cm12.
but
I have one question
Where is "more"/"options" navigation button ?
I dont know how to use "more, options" navigation in an application , I hope you know what I mean

Hi, how can I come back to Flyme? Need to flash patched-recovery-mx4 with flashify and then flash update.zip (stable kk) ? Now, I'm in CM12.1 with Philz recovery. Help please

Yesterday i try to install CM12.1 and CM13 whitout good end, each time i try to install these rom in recovery this error appears "This rom is not for your device, is only for: g620, G7-l01 ...". I have G7-L01 with lollipop stock firmware (B340), with TWRP. I also tried to change the recovery and android version, but nothing, anyone can help me?:crying:

Sir,
it not worked for me. Device is stucked on MI logo after reboot. I have flashed again rom to recover.
however i have flashed yesterday wsmtool.zip(xposed) file.after that flashed twrp
after that i think the device name changed. It was for redmi 1s i think.
so hw to unistall that file.

The easiest solution I can provide is, use philz recovery. I've used twrp too but when it comes to flashing MIUI, it throws that error of "Unsupported device", philz never did that. Been using philz for more than 6 months now and never had any problem flashing MIUI or any other custom ROM

Thanks for the information, it worked for me (despite I had to change all appearances of HM2014811 to wt88047, found in 4 different files, and zip it again before flashing through twrp)
I used the above to install a xiaomi.eu rom in my Redmi 2 in order to have my own language (spanish) :good:
i have rooted my mobile but failed to update my SU binary for super user app so i am currently unable to put any os in it.Right now my phone is dead with no os so kindly help me to log into download mode so that i can put an default os.
There are a lot of threads available.

bro flash twrp if u were on lollipop stock rom or flash cwm recovery if u were on kk srock rom and then flash any rom as per u r like or do factory reset
