Hi Guys,
I have an LG G2 32Gb International Version. It used to have Stock Kitkat 4.4.2 on it. I used the LG Suite to upgrade to Stock Lollipop 5.0.2 perhaps. I want to downgrade back to Stock Kitkat. Is there any possible way to downgrade using the LG Suite itself? It made a backup prior to flashing to Lollipop.
If not possible using LG Suite, then how?
And the reason I want to downgrade is that the phone just isn't fast enough anymore. Whatsapp messages sometimes freeze for a few seconds before they show up. Facebook also freezes from time to time. etc. Things of that sort.

Okay, so i had a LG G2 Pre-rooted since i bought it and i unrooted it, i updated to kitkat LG UI only to realize that i am more fond of stock KitKat CM11/CarbonROM, so i flashed the d800 ATT LG G2 which(Worked before i updated to kitkat) and now it gives me a binary error while flashing, it simply gives up trying.
Binary issue: 7 [Device must be [d800/gilpa] , your device is [d800].
I'm so confused , is the KitKat Update from LG Screwing things up or?!? How do i fix this?
Thanks, and if this has been posted somewhere else, sorry..
Longstory short: Updated KITKAT OTA, Didn't like it, Downgraded back to JellyBean, Installed TWRP, AOSP don't flash...
EDIT: SOLVED: D800 Flash the updated recovery zip

you said you unrooted and update to kitkat so where are you right what version are you on and are you rooted or not and what d800 g2 are you trying to flash also have you tried flashing to stock jb(4.2.2) rooting and installing recovery then trying to install the rom?

SOLVED:
I wasn't informed that i needed to flash the TWRP 2.7.0.0 from the custom recovery installer.
I simply flashed this in the recovery and everything works now.

I know this might be stupid question but I don't have any experience in flashing etc.
So I have LG G2 D800 with 4.2.2 Software version D80010q, I want to update it to kitkat.
Do I need to Root , install recovery or can I achieve it by download kitkat stock firmware and flash it with LG Flash tool?
Hi everybody,
As per the topic says, i have a brand new LG G2 D805 Variant already with 4.4.2 (which is KitKat) and i am wondering if i want to flash CloudyG3 1.1, should i flash any specific MODEM?
I ask this as i see ppl saying every that the need of flashing a KitKat modem.
Taking advantage of the question:
1) If i root my phone, is it possible in the future to unroot it and keep LG warranty?
2) Is it worth to flash CloudyG3 1.1 over the stock?
Thanks a lot!!

It should work fine if you get top the Rom and it doesn't auto rotate the. Just boot into recovery and flash the baseband.
Wouldn't hurt to download it from the op and flash anyway.
If you want it back to stock you can use the flash tool and flash the stock kdz for you model.

I have installed Cloudy 3.1 ROM which is very great and smooth but I have some issues like notification sound is very low and I cant even hear SMS notification if I am outside.. on the other hand I am getting 2 hours 35 minutes on screen time from 100 to 5 percent of battery, which is not so good. I have Korean LG G2 F320K variant which was officially updated to Lollipop and than I installed previous cloudy G2 3.0 and then I flashed this one.
No I have only one question, that I want move back to kitkat ROM which would either be Cloudy Stock or Cloudy Flex as I have heard many good reviews.. So please suggest me the that which bootloader thingie I need to flash along with the flashing kitkat rom after cloudy 3.1.. there is return to stock method in which we need to flash return to kitkat zip but that is for D802... So please suggest me..ASAP I would be greatful for any help...
P.S i just want to avoid the traditional flashing the KDZ method...to return to KITKAT.. so please suggest a way forward to get back to kitkat..from lollipop

Hi, depends how you have installed your recovery:
If you have installed it for example with autorec v2 or twrp bumped by Blastgator, you have bootloader kitkat (because downgrade the bootloader) so you can flash a rom kitkat base.
On lollipop I have installed the recovery from f320_lp.apk and then I installed BUMP recovery.. so this means I can flash kitkat ROM now??
I have LG G2 D802 (I don't know if is the same for F320) and in general with twrp bump you can flash rom kitkat bump.
Now I don't now what you do to flash recovery and if everything is ok...but if you are not sure you can brick your device!
Best choice to return stock is always to flash kdz because reset all partition....
However for security wait other reply by F320's owner.
My samsung s6 got destroyed recently and I had to go back to my backup phone - the LG G2 (D802).
As this set is using the stock 4.4.2 Kit Kat ROM, what else do I need to do to upgrade to Orion's 6.01 here? http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development-d802/rom-orionlp-1-5-t3192311
From Samsung side, I have to update the bootloader and modem baseband through Odin first. in LG world, do I need to do something like this?
What is the tool used, and where are all the latest editions of the bootloader and baseband?
Thank you so much!
