Looks like it becomes real for 5.0 roms (not yet for 4.4 roms) . http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61569650&postcount=7184
And for that info you need to create a new thread? Really?
I was forced to go on a stock Samsung ROM for years because of this, I think that it's important to inform people about this ^.^ (and if someone wants to port this on KitKat roms...)

Hey guys, anyone here able to build a rom containing android Kitkat and the Halo together? It'll be awesome if there's like a build with Cm11 and Halo!

Hello Everybody
Can anyone make a nice custim rom for AOSON M1013?
Is it possible for someone to make a cwm and custom ROM for Konka V976 ?
OK this is not a requests thread. This is the forum for the Motorola Defy.
We need S7390G rom (any! custom or stock)
Hi,
We are a little group of French (& European) users, and we have a lot of troubles with our Galaxy Fresh. We tried to mod our phones a little, but we are unable to find a custom rom/stock rom/custom recovery or whatever matching with the devices. [Most of us have S7390G (and I think some have S7390E too)]
On SamMobile, the only Rom are S7390 without letters, and apparently it soft-bricked our devices.
Please we really need it, and it's a bit unfair because android users can mod their phones but us. Please, we need a S7390G stock (or custom)
 Thank you very very very much.
I know it's supposed to be a challenge for developper, and it's probably too easy, but we keep hoping.
If you want to make a good action
Or maybe we should propose you a real challenge, around the S7390G Rom, but for now, I have no ideas.
Mods could you guys close this thread?
Hi All , I am Happy being with you today
I just ask about any (completely working features ROM ) for my Galaxy S4 i9505
all the custom ROMs have a bugs , not working features , and so on !
I want any 4.4 KitKat ROM for my device with the same stock S4 camera and working features
what is your advice for me? .... thank you
You are meant to try out Roms and make your own mind up.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thank you
I know that no custom rom is completely come with all stock working features
but I want to give me just an ROM 4.4 KitKat with the stock Camera app
or how can I make the stock camera app works with the custom rom?
if the custom rom comes with the two camera apps (custom and stock) , I will be happy , anyway , thank you really

S4 is too young to have yet 100% stock features on any cooked ROM. For example, now I am running my old S2 with 4.3 CM10.2 and even not 100% features (sound in dock and HDMI out doesn't work, but it is not a problem form me even having got an HDMI adapter...).
As my S2, I am sure my S4 will end its days with any CMxx or similar cooked ROM, but now it is too soon.
The question is, why would prefer to loose features just to have kit kat now (I really believe we will have it before 2 or 3 month).
Lot of people like to have stock S4 camera app on CM or Kitkat rom including me. I've searched here, and there's only camera port for Google Edition 4.3 rom, but without complete feature, still can't be everyday use. I end up using stock pre-root 4.3 rom; has everything samsung advertised, better battery, more stable than CM and just born kitkat rom. I'm looking to try kitkat again if the camera work good and rom has no other issue.
the most important advice is "patience". you've got to set things into perspective: if you want kitkat, give developers some time, they can't work miracles (most of the time, that is)... pulling such a big system all together takes time, and most custom roms only started offering nightlies for the i9505... they really arent meant for people wanting things to run smoothly ...
I just got my Note 3 and I'm wondering what ROMs I should give a spin.
I tend to like MIUI roms as I had on my note 1, but also paranoid android is really fast and unbloated, I was also wondering what ROMs conserve multiwindow and s-pen features, maybe only samsung based ROMs have those. So yeah, what ROMs do you guys deem worthy?
Try them and see for your self.
I'm on Alliance 4.3, great battery, super smooth, I'm not going to update KitKat anytime soon.
Some are on 4.4 KitKat, they can maybe say a few words.
Why is ROM development so stumped? I thought I'd have TONS of ROMs to choose from like on my Note 1

Most important is that the roms and kernels that are out there are all very good You have sammy based roms, AOKP/AOSP and CM11, what more do you want? Plus you have Xposed framework to modify what you want.
I'm with CEPi - I run Alliance, Lean kernel and Philz Touch recovery. As stated it is a 4.3 based ROM so you'd need to see what your phone is as stock. If you're on 4.3, keep in mind if you go KK (4.4) you will be unable to come back. Also if your 4.3 is vMJ7 or above, you WILL blow the Knox counter by rooting, Custom ROM'ing or custom recovery.
If you're on KK already then you are restricted to the KK ROM's - like CEPi I can't comment on them as I see no reason to install a new ROM when Alliance is fast, stable & great battery.
Used X-note, now testing FlexKat.
The entire Dev section consists of roms of someone's choice. Ofcourse, some people prefer a certain rom, some don't. At the end, it is entirely up to you to decide what you like, and this can only be achieved by trying them yourself.
If you need a starting point, most rom's can be classified into two categories, aosp-based and touchwiz-based. You can try one or two on either side to see which category your preference falls in, and then try out some other options in that category.
On that note, thread closed as we do not allow such type of threads here, since they often snowball into heated arguments over personal preference.
Thread Closed.

Im on Stock Firmware: 4.4.2 on my LG G2 Verizon (VS98024A). Ive been doing alot of browsing on Custom Rom's and I want to hear some opinions. My question is Whats the BEST and most Stable ROM out there today? I was never a HUGE fan of Lollipop, but im not against it; and Cyanogenmod was never my "Favorite" custom ROM, But again; not against it!
I see ALOT of ROM's by Cloudyfa for 4.4 KitKat like CloudyFlex 2.8, CloudyG2 2.2, CloudyPro II 2.3 and I wonder whats the real differences between them all [REALLY?] and also LP 5.1 Roms like Cloudyfa's CloudyG2 3.3 and the comparions between that and the KK Versions with [PORT] like OptimusG3 Rom V1.5 and the OptimusPro Rom V4.5? and You cant forget Cyanogen Mod with KK and LP Roms as well, even 6.x MM.
Not to Mention ALL the others like Pac Rom, Slim Rom, Devient, and ect ect so on!
So what are the major categorys and differences besides the obvious of Andrioid Versions; What are the Kernels like? What makes one ROM (in your specific) better then others?
I See - A LOT- of people who are new to the G2 like myself; alittle late in the game just due to the fact the phone; "Out Of the Box" is still an AMAZING phone; and everyone who didnt follow these ROM's as they were in the making; seem to be out of the loop and not cought up, and not many replys to them asking. I was hoping I could start a thread that could help people and answer some of the multiple repeat questions and help give some people some insight on this topic!
Im inviting EVERYONE who ever ran a ROM other then STOCK to chime in and spread what you know! Thanks!!
if you dont know the difference between cloudy's rom then you should unroot your device because sooner or later you will brick it
I don't know why but I kept running into lag with the stock ROM on my D800 after a couple of months of use. Eventually, I became annoyed and installed this stripped D800 ROM, and never looked back. It's very fast and lightweight giving all stock functionality, without the bloat of dozens installed and running bloatware apps. Rather unfortunately, there is only the d800 version. Perhaps, such ROMs exist for other G2 editions?
Robles.... ROM's are very personal girlfriends of our phones and us users. Your likes might aggravate me and viceversa. Cloudy offers cleaned up variations of stock OS, and then you have CM-based roms (bliss pop, resurrection, etc). The best rom? Only you can answer that. You're asking a very annoying question even though this community is very helpful. Ask a waiter what they recommend, and what should their answer be? "it depends what you're in the mood for?" Right? How does he/she know what we like? Your question is similar, and has been asked too many times. As helpful as xda is, we all appreciate that a person investigates BEFORE asking. Learn or try, and then ask.
Go on the threads and read and read comments and posts, and slowly your gut will tell you to try a rom or not. As long as you make backups with twrp, you can always return to safety with what you had.
I'm on Slimsaber LP rom, and the battery life is amazing for a daily driver. There's a start, read, read more, and good luck.
Hello everyone,
I personally never owned a Samsung device (always Nexus and mostly with Paranoid Android or Dirty Unicorns ROM) but my girlfriend has one and she defeniately needs it to be flashed :good:
As I am completely new to Samsung devices, I have no idea about all the developers and different ROMs that are out there for the Samsung Note 4 (Snapdragon).
I don't have much time to try around with different ROMs as it isn't my phone.
I need one that is good, stable, fast (and also supports the stylus / samsung apps). So I can flash it quickly and have a happy girlfriend
So that is the reason I an asking in the first place. Else I would just flash around and keep trying until I find the best fit.
I saw CM is officially supporting the Note 4. So that one might be a good solution. But does it have all those stylus samsung stuff?
Any other ROMs I should check out?
Do I need to flash a new radio?
Thanks in advance and sorry for posting another "which ROM" thread. But I can't really test around to find out on my own as it is not my device that I am going to improve !
If n910g, this is highly recommended, although you have to disable or uninstall later all apps that you don't want if you want a debloated rom.

It is N910F.
The link you provided is simply stock android MM?
Yes stock MM, stock is in my experience the most stable and bug free rom build. But the link is for n910g unfortunately.
Stock ROM, and then debloat yourself. Quite honestly speaking, and no offence to anyone, there are no good ROMs available for Note 4. In fact I myself might have not got the phone if I realised the development section is like this. And I am not interested in ported ROMs, so even though there are many available I won't go that way, and I am too dumb to make a ROM for myself, so stock ROM it is.
I agree, stock rom rooted and debloat it, and apply msm tweaks. If you want, xposed as well.

You must flash samsung based rom to have all soen features and samsung apps. I reconnemed kurama rom which in using , its battery friendly, fast and stock based. If you going to flash kurama rom you must flash modem and bootloader for the rom to boot up (only can be flashed from pc with odin)
