[Solved] Stuck trying to write to Recovery - Galaxy Tab 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
So I recently I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 SM-T530NU and read this forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61421937&postcount=4 on how to root it since it is running Android 5.0.2. But when I run Odin it get's stuck on writing to recovery. I have USB debugging and mock locations turned on in the developers settings. Any help is appreciated.

[Q] HELP!!!! note 3 bootloop

Hello everyone,
i am fairly new to the world of rooting and recently encountered a problem while flashing a rom
i have the at&t samsung galaxy note 3 N-900A running 4.3 jellybean (2 year contract expired and i got and used the unlock code)
i rooted the phone using the kingo root app, because i could not update the phone (I recently moved out of the USA so i cant connect to an at&t server to update)
i installed safestrap recovery 3.71 and it was running fine
i found a tutorial from galaxy note 3 root for the knoxraid ro
(put youtube. c o m here) /watch?v=8HDHt4xSnQY
according to the tutorial i had to install the rom over the stock rom file
so i copied the stock rom to rom slot 1
this is where i messed up, i installed the knoxraid rom over the stock rom without wiping/data factory reset first. But it gets worse, i realized i forgot to wipe the data from safestrap so before the install was even halfway completed, i pulled the battery out.
now whenever i turn it on it will go straight to recovery mode
it wont even turn off. i have to pull the battery out.
i can get to download mode and recovery mode but thats it.
im not sure about the build number because it wont boot up
all i can tell you is it is a at&t note 3 running 4.3 jellybean
please help if you can
btw: my computer wont recognize the phone because it says the PHONE does not have the correct drivers installed
however odin still recognizes it with the blue box with 0:[COM6] if that helps
so yeah please help me the phone is fairly new and i dont want to waste $600

[Q] Galaxy S5 Lollipop Troubles

Hey guys, so I have a Galaxy S5 (Product Name: SM-G900V) running verison and updated to version 5.0 (lollipop) I'm trying to get it rooted but its not working out too well. I read online and the first thing I tried was to download towelroot. Thing is, when I press on the lambda logo what happens is the phone keeps trying to open it and every single time using a new tab so it just goes into an endless loop until I exit out using my home button and kill all processes. Next I tried to do it manually using odin. I used this video (I tried to attach the link but since Im a new user it wont let me post links but you can easily find the video I was refering to by typing in "how to root android 5.0 lollipop on samsung galaxy s5 easily" and its by Inam Ghafoor) to help me with the process only problem is when I tried running odin instead of it being successful like it was in the video on my phone I get an error which is as follows
UDC START
SYS REV CHECK FAIL : No Version
SECURE MAGICCODE CHECK FAIL : recovery
any help would be appreciated, thanks

You need to Odin down NCG. Then use towelroot. Use Odin 3.09
See the notes #5 to see how to start because you don't have root yet. Once you gain root you can go back to the top of the post to see how to Odin back to lollipop and keep root.

HELP!!!

Hi,
I recently purchased a Galaxy Tab 4.0 Lite (SM-T337a). I successfully rooted it using Kingoroot but upon restart the entire operating system seems to be gone. It is an overseas tablet (AT&T) that I got through the classifieds here in Australia.
There was nothing on there so I am not worried about losing data, I just want to be able to restore some form of OS onto it.
I can get into Android System Recovery <3e> and have tried installing the stock firmware through the SD card, but so far nothing has worked. I'm also having trouble getting my PC/Mac to identify it.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
http://updato.com/how-to/how-to-install-an-official-samsung-stock-firmware-using-odin
download this and make the process
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862688251
you have to flash the official firmware that you can find in sammobile and flash it whith odin. it should that your device is in download mod : down key home and power bottom on the boot
Look for the stock firmware for your model in this thread or somewhere in SamMobile, the language specified doesn't matter anyway cause you can always change that in setup but make sure that you've got the right one for your tablet. Then flash them using Odin

Same problem
I have the Snapdragon Duos version using this rom https://forum.xda-developers.com/no...eo-8-1-0-unofficial-lineage-15-1-rom-t3760969 and it got this peculiar problem of sim death. Basically when you restarted the phone to revive your sim, you got bootlooped. Couldn't get to recovery. either:crying:
I tried the things you tried and it was the same. Stuck on boot animation. No recovery.
Have you found a solution now? Anyone has any idea?
Guys, don't you know that the eMMC problem is a plague of the 910F models? Maybe that's the issue.
Get to read more on the Snapdragon threads about it.
