Smart cover problem!!!

Hi Guys, my friend updated his note 3 to 4.4.2 and now his smart cover not working cuz it's not from Samsung, and he want to downgrade to 4.3 to use it or is there any way to make it work on 4.4.2 ???

[Q] note 3 and drivelink?

hi guys,
anybody got drivelink working with note 3 and one of the mirrorlink stereos? I looked all the forums and could.t find the solution. I am happy to root the phone and use custom rom if some one can suggest? I was on 4.3 stock rom and now upgraded to 4.4.2 but still no success.
please help.

There's no Drive Link for the Note 3 at the moment. This might change soon, but there's nothing official yet.

yes I know there is no official drivelink but there is hacked drivelink which works on most devices.i have installed it and it opens ok in phone but do not connect to the stereo...

[Q] Ir Blaster not working galaxy s4 sammobile stock rom

Hello guys,
I'am with my samsgung galaxy s4 gt-i9505 (zto International).
Some days ago I installed the rom CM 11 SNAPSHOT last update, then I missed all the features that my phone may offer to me like the sensors... So I decided to install the samsung galaxy s4 stock rom back. (by the site SAMMOBILE)
All are working in the ROM but IRDA (IR BLASTER) isn't working. Then I can't control my TV anymore neither my Air conditioner.
I tried a factory reset but dosen't work!
Android 4.4.2
PDA: NH2 (I9505VJUGNH2)
I'm waiting for some help!!

Check under a camera if the light of the sensor still works.
If not you have a dead IRB.
Something like this happened with me too.

In the other thread you reply more people on the NH2 firmware have it. So I suggest trying a different firmware.

My ir blaster is not transmitting signal i don't know why....
I was reading some other posts with this same problem with PDA NH2...
I think that the problem is with My rom, because the ir blaster was working fine with CM11 and the previous update.... It is possible that my ROM isn't recorginizing my ir blaster too.
I do not know what to do in this case .....
Please some one help me......

I can try another firmware but I don't know what firmware I can use.....
I AM in Brazil (porto alegre, RS) and I haver the samsung s4 international that isn't from operators here. ....

What you should do is try a different firmware. You are already familiair with custom roms. Make sure to properly wipe before you flash.

Well, I think that I'll wait the next update from my firmware to see if it fix the IR Blaster... Because i don't know any ROM that have the same touchwiz and the phone features working well.... If you know one tell me please...

Almost every custom TW based rom works well. That's because most chefs only change the way it looks.

Man, check http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1/?model=GT-I9505&pcode=ZTO#firmware
that shows the list form all the unbranded firmware pra vôce (ZTO), just download the previous version (I9505VJUGNE2) and check if it works
Remember that most unbranded codes end in O (i.e., CHO is for my country, Chile, but it's not as recent as ZTO). BTW, you can check another country's firm (as long as its code finishes with O), as most firms offer many languajes, but stick to south america codes, as the modem version differ between continents

my problem start when i am try to back my phone to android 4.4.2 after install lollipop 5.01 Because the android 5.01 Battery emptied quickly
and in android 4.42 no signal and when i am try to press Mobile Networks tell me **Insert the SIM card for access to network services**
but the signal work in android lollipop 5.01 and don`t work at android 4.4.2
that problem in official rom android 5.01 Russia
i am try another rom and still problem
any help guys i am Looked very much I did not find a suitable solution

Hi mate
Not clear what S4 you have , but the problem most liked is EFS/modem related , modems from one version to the other are different and not compatible
check this thread for the I9500

I am sure there are other guides to correctly downgrade from lollipop to kitkat ....

Kitkat Modem in Lollipop

So, when I bought my N910C it came with Uzbekistan 4.4.4 N910COXE1ANK5 and I live in Miami, Fl. My signal was good until I updated to Lollipop BC05. Yes im rooted and ive already tried to update to the latest everything using Odin and using every source, so ive been looking for a solid answer but I haven't found one yet,
Can I flash ANK5 4.4.4 Modem(KitKat) into my BC05 5.0.1 (Lollipop) Rom???
some users said yes and some, it will brick the device,
Can anyone give me a solid answer? I will appreciate the help so much,
