Hi Developers, need some Information about to find, use and modify build routines for the klte roms from aosp.
i'm not interrested in using cyanogen, its a non intuitive crap, like ubuntu.
i want to build a slim, usable rom, with my own kernel or using boeffla.
i've tried to build a klte from aosp using samsung open source, but it wouldn't install, saying wrong device.

I'm just curios.... I want to know if anybody or even a big developer is doing a OMNI rom port for us i9505 users I might not be the only one with that question !

You certainly are not the only one with that question.
I have no official position within the project, nor do I know their plans. However, it is very likely that it will be ported over to our devices (if it's not officially maintained by the OmniROM team). That being said, I wouldn't expect much to hit the forums as public releases until the development moves along to a more stable, suitable nature.
Hmkay..... Staying on pac for the momemt ^^

I have built Omni 4.4 for the Nexus 5. Everything works fine except for Mobile Network. I am not just missing data, it is not connecting at all. I am not even asked for my PIN when I boot the phone.
What am I doing wrong?
Can someone give me an advise what to look for in logcat? I couldn't find anything obvious yet.
I used the blobs from the Google page. Would it be better to grab them from a running Omni ROM by using the extract script?

The blobs from the Google page are definitely incomplete - use the extract script.
And yes I know that until official builds start going out, there's a bit of a "chicken and the egg" issue with the official process for building (using extract-files).
Blob handling is always a nightmare.
LorD ClockaN helped me out. Here is the fix I used.

@Entropy512 you guys do a great job. Therefore I won't complain that these things are not as easy at the moment. It just takes time.

Heya!
I Have Cyanogenmod 11 on my Galaxy S4 (i9505) and i have a question:
There is any mod pack that gives u features like AirView, glove mode, etc... on ur Cyanogenmod?
Or maybe Apks that adds buttons for these features on notification window etc..
I'm asking cause i'm fine on cyano and i don't want to install a laggy TW ROM <.<
Thk u
Well... One CM Rom has the glove mode mod installed. But you will not get the other feautures on any aosp based rom because those funtions need the touchwiz framework to work

Ty!
Hello,
Does non samsung roms support air view, air gesture, multi window, smart stay, smart scroll??
Like: cyanogenmod, PAC, AOSP rom..
Please name the rom that support them..
No. Only Touchwiz based Roms support it. No aosp rom does include the touchwiz framework which is needed for those feautures.

i think the CRASH ROM have these things because its based on Samsung Stock firmware
Well of course. Like I said... every touchwiz rom supports it
You can find them here if you have a I9505 S4
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9505-develop
Note:Google Play Edition Roms do not support it.

Hi guys and girls,
Is there someone who can port the latest PA (they are alive!) to our g900F? I ever prefered PA and want it again on my "new" phone. But the official supported phones list does not list samsung devices (for what reason? )
Would be happy if my phone gets their rom. Hope that others want it, too..
So, thank you for reading
Marcus
