Hey guys! Thanks for reading.
I was trying to flash stock FW to my phone (SM-G530MU, G530MUUHU1AOA2), but i couldnt do it. I downloaded almost all FW available in SAMMOBILE, but all gave me the auth error in odin.
I thought it was because of the recovery, so i flashed the Phil one. Still no luck.
Then I formatted and wiped through recovery, thinking that would be a good way to have everything to stock.
After that, the phone wont get past the Glaxy Grand Prime logo with androidn at the bottom.
I still cante get ODIN to flash any FW because of that Auth error. Have no idea how to fix it.
Also i tried KIES, but once i enter all infor, it simply says "Failed to run firmware update. Unknown error occured".
So yeah, please help. Dont know what to do. Thanks!
I fixed it! Close this Mods! Finally i went to Samsung and they provided me the original firmware for my model. Thanks

HI all,
So I today I messed up and I need your help :crying:. Basically here's whats going on: I decided to root my phone since I found that battery was complete garbage, so I decided to root the phone with TWRP and Odin and after flash a new kernel for my phone as well as SU. Everything went fine. However, when i tried to reboot my phone to get a custom rom i wanted, it keps telling "kernel is not seandroid enforcing" and would be stuck in a boot loop (which apparently is normal and would just need to flash a rom for it to work). Finally I just decided to boot factory, so I can get to my files and put that damn custom rom. Long story short, I was able to put it, wiped system in TWRP and flashed this new rom only to get another error "THis package is for device trltetmo, this device is trltexx". Now I couldnt even factory reset anymore. At this point I decided to flash my back up that I did before and yet ANOTHER problem "cannot restore system mounted read only". After couple of hours of research, I needed to change the name of the file to system.image.mbn i think, I changed a file called system.ext --> system.image.ext. Needless to say that it didnt work. Final thing I decided to do is simply to flash a stock rom with odin and reverse the root, so I downloaded a stock rom for note 4, started the whole process with odin and now it is stuck at system.img.ext4....and i have no clue what to do, I dont know even know what I did before is the problem or it is something else, all i know is that odin is stuck at that message. Should I just let it go, should I stop it? Help! please
Wow, true hardship you get it back running?
Try using Kies and doing firmware upgrade mode to see if it can download and load the stock firmware for that device.
Hi there.
first of all i want to introduce myself because this is my first post on this website, i got this website from a friend of mine.
my name is nicky, im from holland and 26 years old.
but since today im in big trouble..
i had my phone rooted, but i wanted to uninstall this.
so i used an app for it, but then it rebooted and it had a bootloop.
first step i tryd to reset it with the recovery tool within the phone.
not works because of an error. E: cant mount (or something)
so i tryd to bring back too stock firmware with odin.
it came back with an error.
NAND write start, FAIL...
next thing i did was to try recovery with samsung programma smart switch.
also fail. (now i have this logo An error has occurred while updating the device software. use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch pc software) while powering my phone.
i dont know what to do anymore, im working on this since 11 clock this morning and im getting a little depressive about this.
Details:
Samsung galaxy s6 edge.

still can go to download mode, but cant go to recovery.

This is the Edge + forum, you have an Edge? Different devices. You need to post on the Edge forum.

If you're still able to get into download mode try rooting your phone, install custom recovery and boot into recovery.
Then flash a custom rom
After that if you want stock again test if Odin works
@Ticky-Nax
Odin fails to flash if the firmware isn't the right one for your phone or you've got a bad download.
Look on the backside of your phone. There's some text. Search for something like SM-G925 and another letter behind it. Now visit http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and insert exactly the modelnumber from your back. Now search for a firmware from the Netherlands and download it. Last of all you need to flash it again with Odin and it should work.
@mattan1999's method won't work because you killed your bootloader I guess. This means you really have to reflash a stock firmware with Odin
I hope this helps a bit
Greetings.
I tried to flash the original firmware of my SM-G530H (4.4.4) using odin ( Odin3_v3.10.6 ) but every time it fails right at the beginning of the process.
I download the firmware (brazil/claro) from the Sammobile website, did everything that this tutorial told me to (androidmtk.com/flash-samsung-stock-rom-using-odin) but it fails every
time.
It is not a connection problem because odin recognizes the device and the process starts, but it fails right after the beginning.
Does anyone know what might be happening?
Thank you!
I forgot to mention that the phone is still working. I want to flash the stock rom because I rooted and the battery seems to be having some issues after that.
My problems started when I did this root (http://forum.xda-developers.com/gra...lly-rooted-galaxy-grand-prime-t2935607/page40).
I noticed it changed the baseband of my phone from to HVCU to HCXU, and according to what i have understood from my searches that's why i keep receiving the error message "Error: Secure Check Fail : aboot" on the phone every time I try to flash the original firmware (http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/42103/G530HVCU1ANL4_G530HZTA1ANL4_ZTA/).
Does anyone know how can I fix it?
Thank you very much! :good:
I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, I thought I was smart enough to try and root the phone but I was wrong. Now it is in a bootloop. I have tried everything...I did a factory reset, flashed, cleared the cache partition, I have used Kies3, Smart Switch, ADB server, Odin , I tried it all and now I am just needing help if anyone can help me.
I tried to go back to Kies3 but it keeps rejecting my serialnumber for some reason, I even went back to the recovery log in the recovery console to make sure the serial number was right. I also thought maybe I flashed the wrong firmware with Odin? I am not sure I got the right one because I amnot sure what PDA means on the download site, so I am just lost now. The only thing it does is a bootloop and I can get to recovery console, and the bootloader.
If anyone can help I would so appreciate it.

If you have Bootloader it can be fixed. Download the firmware from sammobile and put the files in the spot it says it is. PDA file will go to PDA etc.
Edit. Sorry forgot that PDA is the old Odin. Download the newer version v3.12 and put the AP files in the AP slot and the same with the CP file and CSC. You might wanna try leaving the BL file out as when I did mine it would only work if I didn't add BL.
I had quite the same thing. I rooted my S7 Edge abd installed Lineage, but I was not satisfied of it, so I decided to come back to stock ROM. This was impossible : flash with Odin, with TWRP, etc... All came to a bootloop or freeze when the phone booted.
And yesterday, after a new attempt, the phone booted and now, it works very well. I don't really understand what changed or what I did more, but it seems that your phone is not bricked. Try another Odin flash with forcing CSC maybe.
Good evening everyone,
is this the correct Forums part to post questions like this? If not, please tell me where to post, thanks!
As the title says, I bricked my phone. I rooted it some days ago and was trying to unroot it, by installing a stock rom. Since I didn't know how to get the correct Region code, I download a custom ROM which said "everywhere" and guess that was the mistake. I tried to flash it with ODIN, the same way I flashed the custom ROM back then, but ODIN showed an error (which I can't remember). So in the end I pulled the cable and now have an error upon start up which says "An error has occured while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software". Said software doesn't offer any emergency recovery function.
I can still boot into download mode. I tried to install the custom ROM again, but but ODIN doesn't recognize the phone.
What can I do to fix this? What additional information do you need to provide help?
I thank you in advance for all suggestions and wish you a nice evening!
~Guppy
