Hi
I need the Home-screen on my ZL in Full-mode (expanded?), maybe without Pagination Marker and extra Row for Icons.
Im using Pie from GravityBox, without Navbar.
I'm searching 2 day's (and night's) for an Alternative to this Fullscreen.apk
Now (Lolli, root, Recovery) it didn't work anymore on my 6503.
Any Idea's how realized it?
Thx

Bro you can try serajr's "Xperia™ Xposed (LP)"
The feature you asked is available as option in additional quick tiles option.
I guess this is not right place to ask questions.[emoji6]

:cyclops:
O.k - (not really easy to find)
System Ui/Enable Extra Tiles/"Navigation Bar" - pull down QuickSettings + insert the icon and enable.
:good:
5th Row:
Home Launcher/Desktop/Grid-Numbers of Rows/"5"
----GEM Xposed can delete the Page Dots.
Now it looks like this!
Hurra

Use app settings xposed module you can set the home launcher to be immersive so both the nav bar and status bar will only show when you swipe up or down

I was just curious if there is anyway to hide the black home/back bar at the bottom of the screen? Is there any kind of option to hide it until you tap at the bottom and make it appear? Thanks.

Not with the stock ROM. Some custom roms have this type of feature available though (usually it's a toggle in the Power menu).

You can easily hide it on a stock rom with a build.prop edit. Just add qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 to your build.prop and reboot. Then you have no more navigation bar. You'll need to use something like LMT launcher (here at xda) or Button Savior (in play store) to have the home, recent, back, etc functions (easiest to set up BEFORE rebooting after editing build.prop ).

You can do this, but it's not exactly what the op was looking for. He wants to be able to hide and show the bar at will.
You can use GMD Hidebar or GMD GestureControl to hide the navbar.

Thanks for the help so far guys.

I tried this and it hid the top bar as well. I just want the bottom buttons gone, since I use Button Savior.

Hey, you can use HideBar http://ppareit.github.com/HideBar/ to hide the navigation bar.
Is there a launcher that can hide the navigation bar on the home screen?
S' mobitela
No. Why do you only want to hide it while on the home screen?
Edit: If you just want to hide it period, you can use this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1243352&d=1344188251

You need a custom rom like PA in order to do that.
Or use lmt so which is pie, so you can now hide the navigation bar buttons in expanded mode.

You can also use gmd gesture control if you want to stay on stock but quickly hide/unhide navbar using gesture, even on custom roms its faster than having to hold power button and clicking expanded desktop

This is a great way to permanantly hide navbar but keep notification bar on stock but there is 2 problems i encountered with this method, 1st prob was the 3 dots would dissapear from chrome etc and on 4.2.2 i encoutered a flicker problem quite often but it sounds like the OP wanted to just hide the bar on home screen which im not sure why lol but if thats what he wants his best bet would be gmd gesture control or custom rom with expanded desktop mode

Agreed gmd gesture looks pretty cool.

All other app hide navigation bar and notification bar. I'm developing new root app that will allow to hide just navigation bar and replace it with auto hide status bar replacement :fingers-crossed:. No system files modification and no reboot required, but root is still needed.
Try it here and let me know what you think.

Is there a way to hide the status bar while keeping the functionality?
Just swipe down from top and boom notification out of no where
if you use a launcher i.e apex, nova etc you can hide the status bar and set a gesture ( i use swipe down) to show notifications

Using Apex myself and must say it's a dream!
The only thing I don't like is that widgets don't stay scaled the same after a reboot. But everything else can be configured.

Any idea how I can remove the toggles from the notification shade?
or at least resize them (anyone know of any Xposed modules?)
I rather pull down the Quick Settings Panel to toggle..
been looking at the various Xposed modules.. can't seem to find one
still searching around.
hoping to at least resize the toggles so they don't take up so much of the notification shade
install nova launcher and you will be able to set that as a gesture.. so if you swipe up/down on the screen the quick settings will pop up

thanks! but that does not remove the toggles from the notification shade :/
i finally found how to remove the annoying top black gradient from nova launcher. TW does not have it but if people prefer using nova launcher like i do, the black gradient becomes annoying in light home screen background.
NEEDS ROOT.
Below is how black gradient looks.
HOW TO REMOVE IT
1) XPOSED FRAMEWORK
2) DOWNLOAD "Tinted Translucent Status Bar"
3)After installation look for app "Translucen Style"
4)Where it says "Status Bar" select "FULL TRANSPARENT"
5)XPOSED will ask you to reboot , do so.
There you have it, full transparent without the annoying black gradient.
Or remove status bar. I think it makes it more simplistic

Yeah i used this option in nova launcher but is a pain having to hide the status bar to avoid this problem. i like having my status bar at all time without the need to hide it.
Not working for me. The same annoying black gradient. I followed the directions to a tee.

in translucen style
did you press "RESTART SYSTEM UI TO APPLY CHANGES" after selecting "full transparent"
THEN AFTER
DID YOU RECEIVED THE XPOSED FRAMEWORK PERMISSION AND REBOOT?

Yes I restarted system ui to apply the changes. I already had xposed installed, so didn't permission.
Don't understand... So we need the Tinted Translucent StatusBar Module? But we are going to use Translucent Style module right? We have to do something with Tinted Translucent StatusBar module too?
Tried with Translucent Style and it doesn't do anything after restarting... Instructions are not clear I think... So we need both modules or only one... Instructions mentioned 2 modules but only provided instructions for only one module.
The option in Nova doesn't work for you?
When u installed "tinted translucent statusbar" what it does is that it actually install an app name "translucent style". U make the changes from there. So is only 1 module

Works for me as well!
The following method worked for me:
Make sure the "Transparent Notification Bar" checkbox is checked in Nova Launcher (under Look and feel)
Install the "Translucent Style" mod in Xposed Installer(I installed beta version 2.3)
Activate module and Soft Reboot through Xposed Installer
In Translucent Style app, set Status Bar to Fully transparent and (here was the key for me) check the Try replacing the variable box.
