What will happens if I flash another country stock firmware?? Will the phone hard brick?? Or it will work fine?? Thank you
The worst case is that your sim card will not work with that software. This is only if your phone is carrier locked.
If it is unlocked, or neverlocked as others put it, then you can flash any firmware you like, as long as it is for your respective phone model.

Make sure that this phone isn't locked to O2 or any UK carrier.

You should flash Nepal firmware then. It would give you better (more match) CSC code. The CSC (Consumer Software Customization) code contains the info about software packages specific to a particular region, carrier branding and also APN (Access Point Name) settings for data connection.
In my case, my S4 i9500 was made in Vietnam and when I received it, it had a Thailand firmware on it. It is a network unlocked phone. I live in USA. The first lollipop firmware came out was for Russia. So I flahsed the Russian firmware. My CSC showed that it is a russian phone. I used that phone on AT&T network that available in USA, China and Korea, and I had no problem.
Nothing will happen.
@sway8966
Are you really to suggest him to flash Nepali firmware on UK phone? I'll unlock it (the carrier-lock) first and then flash other countries' firmware if need.

Sorry to bump this up but im having problems with my s6 edge (Maybe because of this).
I recently acquired a phone from a relative from UK. The OS is android 7.0 and the carrier is three.co.uk (H3G), we have reset the phone to its factory settings and accidentally didnt noticed that it do auto update on the OS, then this bootloops starts to occur.
The phone isnt network-locked because the phone can receive signals, messages and phone calls on local sim.
Now upon browsing around SamMobile, There is an available Firmware for this mobile and even the firmware which is available to Philippines but only ver. 6.0.1
Is this possible to use the PH one or still i go to UK(h3g)?
help please
once i take the firmware from other countries and then i install to my phone,
does my phone will going to operate that firmware even if it come from another country
because i tried to find firmware according to my respective country unfortunately i missed it.
so please i need your assistance ..please

Need help : bought note 3 online

Hey guys , I bought this Note 3 online from eBay.in , they were selling Verizon unlocked version which support 4G (BTW in am from India). Actually the Indian Note 3 versions does not ship 4G, so in India Note 3 comes with only 3G. So, I bought this phone from ebay, inserted 4g sim in it and in the network mode selected GSM/LTE/WCDMA (auto connect) but I only got 3G. I called customer care but they didn't help me at all. So, I went to a local mobile shop, guy over their told me that he will reinstall the firmware and the problem will be rectified. So, after reinstallation when checked, I noted that the LTE option disappeared and now I'm only left with GSM/WCDMA option and one new option "Global".
Another thing I noted that is, before refurbishment bootup only show Samsung logo and now at bootup it also shows Verizon logo.
I think that repairman installed the original Verizon firmware. Guys please help me, I want my 4G LTE option back. How can I know what firmware was running before.
I know how to use Odin and installing firmware.

go to sammobile.com or samsung-updates.com and download the firmware and flash it via odin. BTW what's your model number?
There are so many firmwares on sammobile website, .. I know that repairman installed the Verizon version, but earlier when eBay shipped it to me it wasn't running Verizon version because it doesn't show Verizon logo at startup before.
When I check in settings it show SM-N900V
the V stands for Verizon
But under the battery, the sticker shows SM-N910
----
Which firmware should I download, that supports 4g and is carrier free
Phone Info from the play store will tell the original .

Firmware swap

I just bought the Verizon s7 edge at best buy for a good deal. However I am a tmobile customer. The people at tmobile were unable to get the phone to work with tmobile. So I went back to best buy to get my money back. The guy at best buy laughed.. he inserted the Sims card created a tmobile access in the settings and now it works with tmobile..cool...but...everyone my phone restarts I get the msg the Sims is not a Verizon sims..
Could I use Odin and flash the tmobile firmware and my phone still work? And recieve tmobile ota''s?
Mine does it to with att I just swipe it away because it dont effect anything
I don't know if you can flash a t mobile firmware, but you can flash a G935U firmware, once you flash U firmware you'll get noticed that all Verizon junk will gone, including that ****ing notification of Verizon SIM..
PD: I have a S7 Edge (G935V) with G935U firmware using a Mexican Carrier, BTW sorry for my bad english
Thanks for the help guys.. I guess I will just try and see once the official nugut comes out..
I will flash the T-Mobile and see what happens..
Worst I would have to do is reflash the official Verizon back on it..
