[Q] Galaxy S4 boots up and then turns off. Can't boot into recovery or bootloader

My brother just installed CM on his phone. It all worked fine and then a few days later, when restarting the phone, it showed the galaxy s4 logo screen and then a few seconds later it turns off.
Now it won't even turn on. I have to remove the battery and then replace it and then only it turns on. Only to turn off again.
I try to go into recovery or bootloader, but it turns off again. The recover or bootloader screen shows up but then the phone turns off in a few seconds.
Cannot detect on ODIN. When I plug a USB cable in, it won't turn on at all. Even when I replace the battery and try. If I could just connect it through ODIN, I could flash the stock rom and kernel.
There is also an error message on the top left of the screen saying, "Kernel Is Not Seandroid Enforcing, Set Warranty Bit". Is this an issue?
Really need some help. No clue what is going on with this phone...

I guess the error message you was in download mode. Did you tried replacing your battery and then going recovery or download mode?
This is not a software problem.
You have a faulty battery or some other hardware failure.
I will try another battery. My mate has an S4 that works. I will use his battery and see if it is the battery.
I was hoping it wouldn't be the hardware. It is out of warranty now.
Thanks guys.

I can also be a broken power button. Those parts are like € 2 and not that hard to replace.

Even Stock Rom doesn't fix it and screen not turning on.

Ok. so my friend was in the library with me so his phone crashed. so he pulled the battery and put it back in. (sm-g900v) and then it boot looped. and did so again. so i wiped cache partition as well as factory reset it. and it still dident work. so i bought my friends phone home and i downloaded his stock rom off of sammobile. (and yes. it was the right 1) anyway so i stock romed it and it was success. but it still boot looped after i stock romed it. so i pulled the battery out and put it back in and now the screen dosent even turn on. But my computer can steal read it. any help? i cant go into recovery or download mode. even when i hold the power button. threres no vibration. untill i plug it in to the computer. any 1? help?
Try leaving it charging overnight maybe just battery died and drained to a very low state to low to turn on
Also what does the phone say when it is connected to Computer what is the phone recognized as?
What does the sticker below the battery say the phone model is?

faulty motherboard or faulty battery ?

Hi, i have i tilapia 32 gb with latest bootloader and i used it during the last 2 year with a slimkat rom.
Now almost everytime it won't turn on normally. The screen is black ,i can't get into recovery or bootloader and charging the battery does nothing.
If i connect it to a pc ,first it shows apx mode on device manager, then if keep pushing the power button many times sometimes it starts and i can access to bootloader and recovery.
I wiped everything, flashed twrp again, tried other roms but almost everytime it won't turn on normally even if the battery is fully charged.
Do you think it is 100% a motherboard problem?
Is there some chance that replacing the old battery(i never changed the original one) will solve this problem? thanks
Most likely storage finaly died so you are out of luck

Redmi 2 doesnt turn on until and unless it is connected to a charger.

Hey Guys,
My phone gets stuck in a bootloop if I don't use a charger while turning it on. Actually, doesn't even get past the splash screen and reboots every 1 to 2 seconds. I also need to connect it to the charger to access TWRP. Normally, when I disconnect the charger after the phone has turned on, the phone suddenly turns off. But when I do the same when I'm in TWRP, nothing happens and I can continue using it without any problems. I'll put the logs if you neeed. And yes, I don't need the charger to get into fastboot mode. I'm currently on lineage 15.1 unofficial but the problem persists over other roms too. Please help...
Change the battery
It's the battery , which is under performing with the voltage needed to run the rom process,
That's why you are able to use with charger and got bootloop without charger. In twrp or any recovery mode most of the hardware is disabled and does not need much power.
Telling you with personal experiences

Won't power up or boot into download/recovery after interrupted update

Please help! My S5 Neo was in a drawer for a few months after the LCD got smashed. I recently bought a new LCD assembly and connected it to make sure it worked before fitting and it was fine. However, the phone immediately started doing a software update but was interrupted after a few seconds as the battery was dead. Now the phone won't power up or boot into download mode or recovery. When I plug the phone in to its charger, the LED flashes red but nothing is displayed on the screen. I had a new battery for it and charged it in another device but still no joy. I've been messing around with old galaxy phones for a couple of years now, flashing custom ROM's etc, so I wanted to just re-flash a stock ROM into it but there's no way I know of performing this without getting the device into recovery or download mode. Does anyone have any ideas? The device is totally stock and hadn't even been rooted. I'm currently using an S4 Active running Lineage OS 17.1 so I'm not desperate for a phone, but I loved my S5 and really would like to get it up and running again. It never once had any problems.
