GT-I9500 Identification Issue - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was given a phone which I think the original owner had tried to put a custom rom on and failed, According to the sticker it is a GT-I9500.
I was able to install TWRP and later tried CWM and attempted some custom roms, all installed but failed to boot. I tried reverting to several different original I9500 firmwares but all would fail to install because the PIT did not match, I downloaded the PIT from the phone with heimdall and it is nothing like the I9500 PIT in fact it looks similar to the I9505.
Now I am lost, I do not know if this phone is maybe fake or some how someone flashed it with the wrong PIT any suggestions would be appreciated.
This is the sticker under the battery and I have included the print output of the phones PIT.

Put the S4 into download mode. The model number displayed on the download mode screen is the actual model number.

[Q] Convert I9505 into i9505G?

Ok...the question is very simple.I don`t know if was asked before but I can`t find any answer for this.I found this thread wich contains a full image restore of I9505G.If i flash this on my I9505 will brick my phone?
OK....for those who are wondering the same question as I do....NO...you cannot simply just flash I9505G image on I9505 using Odin.It gets stuck at flashing NON-HLOS.bin
I remember when I had a Samsung Galaxy S2(i9100g)
It was bought from Turkey.
But on that phone i just flashed the I9100 firmware to unbrand the phone(because was branded on some Turkish carrier)

Well if you flash a Google Play Edition ROM..the Model Number changes to i9505G if that works for you..but that's all to it, not really the image file of the i9505G.

Please Help
Are you getting a FAIL in Odin, or will the phone simply not boot after a successful flash?
I have the same pit file for a while and have not needed to change it...
Which device is this for?
S4
S4-720T
Hope these help.
Make sure you are Odining OH1 and that it's the correct one for your model. It won't let you Odin an older stock ROM.

Note 4 910f various problems....

Hi all,
A friend of mine have various problems :
Whenever he reflash a stock in full wipe he have scriptures in red in TWRP recovery, loose the intuitive prediction keyboard, wifi connects randomly after introducing the password, He havn't anymore csc or csc file even in phone info, country of manufacture is non existent too and also the serial number.
He tried Rom 4 files, the pit and the nand erase all but nothing works, He also downgrade in kit kat and lp to go marshmallow and impossible to recover the csc or anything.
The only way to get a phone with everything from functional apart from the CSC and the serial number is to restore an old backup.
Otherwise, everything works fine but if you have an idea...
Cheers,
Many Thanks !

Samsung SM-T580, custom binary blocked by FRP Lock

Hello,
Knowing nothing about it, I had rooted using twrp and magisk in order to install a custom rom on my old Tab A6 SM-T580. It worked but since I hadn't found anything in potable rom I wanted to delete the root. On a site they indicated that it was necessary to uninstall magisk. I also removed the oem unlock which seems to be an error because when I turn the tablet back on I have this message and it turns off again afterwards:

}
I then tried to flash an official firmware with odin but I have this result:
Then the tablet showed me this:
But that smart switch tells me this model is not compatible
so I come back to this screen:
I tried again with odin and it freezes on setup connection:
Is there a solution, please?
if you need to flash custom firmware first turn off oem then do that
The problem is solved by using home_csc file and not the csc as I did the first time. Thank you.
