Force 700 Nits Brightness? - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So there is that awesome 700 nits brightness boot with auto brightness. Problem is that it only activates in direct sunlight. Sometimes i have to angle my phone directly into the sunlight, wich sometimes isnt possible.
Is there like a tweaked kernel or something where i can set that high brightness level myself manually?

This kernel supports Kcal display control, so you can tweak your heart out to make your display the way you want it.

Download Lux Lite from the play store.

Camera cannot auto turn brightness to max?

My old smartphone can auto turn the brightness to max when I switch on camera mode, which is good because normally my camera brightness in quite low (I prefer low brightness).
Anyone know how to tweak it?
Any setting behind there?

Way to artificially bolster auto-brightness peak brightness?

The Note 3 and S4 have special brightness settings in automatic mode that allow them to go brighter beyond what manual max brightness will allow. In the S4's case, when extremely bright light hits the sensor, it can achieve up to 475 cm/d in auto-brightness. Is there a special root app or program that would allow you to achieve this level of brightness in automatic brightness?

[Q] Auto Brigthness vs. AOSP vs. Manual Brightness vs. Lux Brightness

So, I spend a lot of time in direct sunlight with my phones. The S4 was unusable. The Note 3 in the current configuration I have it in, is *just barely* tolerable.
I know that if I am on stock TouchWiz, then the "auto brightness" setting will net me the highest NITS (brightness) values. If I go to manual brightness and set it to 100% bright, it still will not be *as bright* as if I were on Auto Brightness.
So being a hater of stock Auto Brightness, I wanted to try out Lux Brightness but then I read somewhere that this app even when set to Auto, will only get you the same peak brightness that the "Manual Brightness" gets you. It cannot get the peak NITS that TouchWiz Auto Brightness offers?
I also read somewhere that CyanogenMOD based AOSP ROM's are hacked to allow you the highest possible NITS that TouchWiz Auto Brightness offers.
Neither source of info for the above two paragraphs were solid though. Can anyone help shed some light (no pun) for me on this subject?

[Q] Increasing max brightness

Just like with the Note 2, the maximum brightness of the display is higher on auto brightness then when you manually set the brightness on the highest level.
Sometimes it is difficult to read the display, even though the brightness is set to full. The auto brightness does not accurately work 100% of the time.
Is there a way to manually increase the display brightness? With the Note 2 there was a mod that allowed the manual brightness slider to go all the way to the maximum auto brightness.
Is there a simular mod on the Note 3? If not, how can we develop one?

Auto-boosted brightness question

The brightness that allows the phone to get more bright than what manual maximum brightness settings allow under high ambient conditions. Is it possible to enable this level of brightness on manual maximum brightness constantly with root and tweaking a certain script? I really like whiter whites.
No one even knows how to remotely answer this question?
