Hello to everyone,
recently I updated via OTA to the second actualization of Lollipop (i9505XXUHOE3 PHE) and since then when I search for a contact name using de smart dial, it only suggests me one of its phone numbers, more precisely the first one that is stored on the contact. I tried to do a wipe, restart all apps from the ground and I cant figure out what´s happening.
Anyone have a suggestion?

Hi, I am facing a serious issue after upgrading my O2 Orbit2 to wm6.1 wwe 3.13.260 official rom from O2 website, before Upgrading i took backup of PIM thru sprite backup 6.5 (which works on wm6.1 and 6 both), after upgrading i restored my contacts successfully but the issue is that whenever I receive any call or SMS from the contacts (which i restored) it doesnt detect the name and shows number only, and i tried restoring many times but the same issue happens, contacts are available in phone but does not detect any call or sms, only shows the number. Please tell me why is it happening like this?
by the way when I select any contact and create a duplicate on phone, then it detects the name of incoming call, other then that it does not. i have over 400 contacts, i cannot copy all and then delete the previous one by one, its very tedious process, pls tell me wht is the bug??
please anyone tell me, I have all the contacts saved but incoming call does not show caller name, it shows number for every caller, pls tell me why is this happening, how can i fix it??
I am really haveing trouble to fix this
all that i can say try another rom.. C_shekkars is very good.. breathes life back into your device. and don't forget to flash the radio. )
Hi there, I updated my ROM version to the newest from web site of HTC.
After the upgrade a strange problem appeared :
I have saved contact's numbers in the short form, e.g. 0905111111, but in real the number, if someone calls me is with the state preamble (+421905111111 in Slovakia).
But the device now does not show me the contact name, because it seems like it can not identify the contact(saved in the short form).
If I modify the number of a contact , I add the +421 nomber everything is OK.
Does anybody have this problem, and solved it?

Well, this is just an update, what I found out meanwhile...
So, it seems to be a problem of Sprite backup software.
If I make a new contact in the short form, everything works.
It just seem to be a problem with the sprite backup's restored contacts.
Now experimenting with MS Myphone by deleting and restoring contacts again.
Will post latest news soon.

I had an issue with the last OTA and had to install a factory image. I did this when I was abroad....
Ever since, any contact that isn't in the format +CountryCodeTelephoneNumber is not found with CallerID
i.e. I have loads of numbers that are in UK format e.g. 07792827263 and these don't show as a contact
Any ideas how to fix this?

Im new in i9505 forum
So I've one problem with my new SGS4. I cant send any sms. Tried to fix it by setting SMSC number in messaging app, but when I try to save it, toast message shows me update error. Temporary fixed it by installing GO SMS PRO, but how to fix it permanent?
Any one knows where it is stored? Database or where?
Im on 4.4.2 (XXUGNI2)

at the time of search contacts my phone showing phone contacts as well as whatsapp contacts
even i have selected an option for showing contacts "phone"
so i found duplicate contacts at the time of search contacts
what should i do
is there any solution?

Its a common problem and there's only one solution : Factory reset.
So backup all ur data.

but i had done that 3/4 times and 2/3 times done hard reset but the problem not resolved
