Need enlightening about the version of my note

Hi all!
I bought my Gnote online i sweden and the version of my phone is says this:
PDA:KKA / PHONE: KK5 / CSC: KK5 (AUT)
My question is what is (AUT)
And do I have the latest version?

Your phone is from austria (aut)
KKA is not the latest firmware but
it's the latest the phone comes shipped with.

There are two ROMs for Austria:
GT-N7000ZBAATO - N7000XXKKA/N7000OXXKK5/N7000XXKK5/N7000XXKKA 12/11/2011
GT-N7000ZBADRE - N7000XXLA4/N7000DREKL1/N7000NELA1/N7000XXLA4 16/01/2012
LA4 is the latest leaked for the moment.

Thanks now I known, but is it possible to change it to the Nordic version and get updates with kies / on the air?

Switch to Nordic countries version
I think you can flash this FW to switch to Nordic countries version (you have to root ur phone first and use CWM Recovery to do flashing). Remember to Backup data!

It's stock rom listed on http://www.samfirmware.com and for that, you can update OTA by Kies.

Only in case you have to do special things directly with Nordic language. Otherwise, no need to do so if your device is working smoothly. Plus, UK/English versions trend to be updated very soon, if not the soonest.
It's my private opinion.

Yeah with the stock German 4.1.2 lock screen short cut was not there, but with pimpmaneaton v3.1 he got be running on his rom

Sounds good! Hopefully they'll actually roll 4.1.2 out to all those countries they haven't updated since 4.0 too...

I've downloaded the one for China and find out it's a 4.1.1 ROM, not 4.1.2.
So it's a mistake of Samsung.

But they said it is 4.1.1 as shown in Settings.

Also the lockscreen shortcuts are back. You can toggle them off/on as you please.

I haven't been able to find lockscreen shortcuts as you say. Are you using stock 4.1.2 ?

My settings show 4.1.1 after flashing the Taiwaneses firmware file. I haven't had any luck flashing the Chinese firmware.

yep,still 4.1.1,both of China & Taiwan

The taiwanese and Chinese are the one and same firmware check the info.
What firmware were you on before this and what region are you from.
The reason you are not getting the shortcut icons could be two your note is not from the Chinese region and you flash firmware for the Chinese version.
Your not is a chinese version but you have flashed rom from some other region and also have changed the CSC code.

Nothing for thailand.
Come on Samsung.

Reasons to update? None. Especially not if you don't have root. It doesn't feel any faster either.
I strongly believe this update was made at the request of Orange FR to include some carrier-specific updates. The low revision number (last number in the version) also suggests this, since it means there were only ten builds done in this branch.

There are a few more common bloatware apps that I already removed. Most of the Orange apps can be disabled through Settings > Applications, luckily.

Flash .423 kernel and root by using Doomlords latest root exploit, then flash back kernel from this firmware! Simple! Done!

I felt differences in battery stamina mode in past 4.2.2 updates, i observed to learn about UK unique app: Extended Standby Mode (seems much more
effective in saving battery instead of Eco Mode Controller) I wonder 4.3 still have that in UK firmware ornot. Will test few days.
Found working in SONY SELECT connection (not blank for searching themes too), in other firmware seems abit problem
Oh right another is just extra apps such as File Commandeer, Xperia Diagnostic (For UK Firmware only), Dropbox, Xperia™ Lounge. Cheers

Perhaps abit error in firmware's coding. Try flash other region's firmware to change it if you want. Cheers

I flashed this rom on my phone..the status bar has 4G instead of LTE. Is this normal with this rom?

mmmh anybody else experiencing bluetooth audio problems on this firmware? it's strange, some kind of a scratching noise, not hearable all the time, but in a song always at the same certain time, like as if i'd be linked to a certain frequency or something (reproducible). just exchanged my mdr-10rbt headphones into new ones and then figured out that it wasn't them . maybe i'll just flash back to 4.2.2 and report.
edit: just flashed back to the german .67 rom and bluetooth audio works perfectly again. HOW IN HELL DOES THAT MAKE SENSE??

Pls use the latest flashtool available and move ftf file into firmware folder. Make sure u have installed necessary useb driver for Xperia Z. For ftf flashing, if there is "TA" option, pls exclude it. Hope helps

do you guys think there might be less bugs with this costumizations then FR?
do you have the volume bug? or the ram running low?
and another question, if i flash this with flashtool and i tick don't format userdata it's suppose to work like a regular update right? so if i have my bootloader unlocked i could just flash doom's kernel and flash supersu to get full root?

Works fine on my C6903 in Finland, had Ncb before but camera dosent work with that but this one fixed that problem thx )
