extrat ota - Moto X General

hey guys, Somebody help me extract ota

Do you have root? If so just copy the ota zip from /cache to /sdcard. If you don't have root then there is no way

[Q] How to enable update from sdcard on JPM

In order to get Arabic Android Generic Update for FroYo, I have to apply an update.zip from sdcard.
I rename the flash file update.zip and put in the root directory of my sdcard but when I boot on recovery and check this item <update.zip from sdcard> the reponse is "can't open /sdcard/update.zip".
Is there any solution to get it ?

Update

I received a notification for ota update and it failed, im not sure why is there a way to fix it?
See attachment of error
I suspect you renamed (or deleted) the BrowserProviderProxy apk and odex files to sideload the gnex browser and flash. I had done the same and my OTA failed with the same error. I renamed the browser.apk adding a .bak to the name and renamed my BrowserProviderProxy files back to the .apk and .odex extensions, and restarted. Then I copied the update zip from the /cache folder to the root folder and booted into recovery. Installed the zip in recovery and all was well. I used cwm recovery through Rom Manager and I had installed and run Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper before starting. I chose not to flash a new recovery and yes to trying to keep root after the update process.

Thanks but now I'm getting this error, if someone has stock Gapps from 4.1.1 it would be great if they could send me the link for it ...I think that would help

There are 237 assertions in the OTA update... Might be easier to just restore to stock 4.1.1 then update.

Yeah... but you gave me an idea. I took the list of files to be patched from the OTA and made a cwm flashable zip with the 4.1.2 versions of the files, the kernel and bootloader. Since these are complete files, there are no patches which means the only assertions are to make sure it runs on a grouper device.
I've run it a few time myself and it seems to work fine. If you want to be a guinea pig and test it out, send me a PM and I'll send you a link.

[Resolved] KOT49E OTA flash failing with debuggerd file present

While trying to flash KOT49E OTA zip file update using TWRP from KRT16S to KOT49E, process failed with an error like:
"/system/bin/debuggerd" has unexpected contents."
I have not modified the system partition. I have ROOT access. Not sure which app modified the file. I am using "USB OTG HELPER" app and not StickMount app. There is "/system/bin/debuggerd_bak" file present but it is exactly same as "/system/bin/debuggerd".
Can somebody, please post original debuggerd file from KRT16S image?
Got the KRT16S debuggerd file from thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2534698. Replaced it in the Nexus 7 2013 "/system/bin" folder and flashed the KOT49E OTA zip. Successfully updated to KOT49E.
Thanks a lot to sfhub.

OTA update file folder

Someone knows where the OTA update file is saved.
Any idea?
Unable to test on my device to find the actual folder.
About 98% sure it is in /data or /cache
Sent from my KFFOWI using Tapatalk
In /cache/update
No update in cache or data folders
Solved, this is the path:
/data/data/com.symphonyteleca.update/files/update
?
