I flashed 5.1.1, then the LTE radio .zip, and now my cell data hasn't worked in days (Straight Talk ATT). As far as I can tell, all other functions work except cellular data. Should I reflash the LTE radio, or flash the stock radio and use the LTE app? Is this a problem with using an MVNO, or just a bad flash?

Hi,
I just purchased a Galaxy s5 sm-g9006v. This is the chinese unicon Samsung galaxy s5. It's unlocked.
I have a t-mobile sim. The phone works fine but the only problem is that it's only running 2g speeds! and i've been reading and i think it's a problem with the bands the phone is working on.
I've also been reading about changing the firm-ware modem but I need a little help.
My question :
Can I change the bands that my phone is using to t-mobile compatible bands to run hspa+ or lte or 4g ?
If so, is it as simple as flashing flashing t-mobile firmware from sammobile (sm-g900t) to my phone via odin?
And if I can fix it without having to flash the whole original firmware by just flashing the modem (which is 5mb), where can i get the modem for that firmware and how do I flash it alone ?
Thank you
I flashed the new pac_man rom on my us cellular s5 last night. I used the us cellular link provided. Worked great other than now I lack voice/text service. I restored my factory backup and still have the same issue. LTE works fine.
I currently have the G2 with freedompop, it works fine on the stock rom, 3g, lte, etc.. but tried cyagenmod 12.1 3g works, lte doesnt, tried a stock sprint rom, thats been de-bloated etc, still 3g works, no.. lte. Anyone using freedompop and using a custom rom? or know how to fix the lte? I've tried flashing mutliple apn fixes found on the forums, none worked, some maybe it never connect to 3g,
have you tried this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2798619
If not or more, what [else] have you tried?
I am having signal issues with the n9100 (china mobile). Currently I am in Canada on Rogers network. I have rooted the phone and currently using a custom Rom (Aurora). The firmware is on 5.1.1 and baseband is on the latest. I do get 4G signal but it gets weak when I am inside my house and usually is in Edge mode. The signal was decent when I was in China. I am sure its a modem issue, but is it possible to install a rogers modem onto this without bricking (probably lose dual sim but thats ok)? If not, is there a fix? Can I force my phone to use a certain frequency/band that Rogers uses and see if that helps?
Hi there, I would like to know if other people are having signal problems after the MM update. I am on Tmobile on a AT&T Unlocked Priv that WAS working perfect (signal strength wise) when it was on Lollipop. Since I upgraded by OTA to MM using a friends Simcard my signal is a mess. It cycle between LTE , 4G, 3G, EDGE all the way to GSM (G). And when I hit the road it stay in EDGE most of the time. That didn't happen in Lollipop and have never happened in my Nexus 6 and Nexus 6P. So is no TMO signal, is something that AT&T or Blackberry change on the modem firmware.
I tried to flash the old modem (lollipop) but it won't boot and told me the data was encrypted and corrupted and needed to wipe my phone. I flashed back the MM modem and booted. I flashed the TMo modem and I don't think it is sticked or maybe is it just the same one. Can you reply with your baseband numbers. Mine is MPSS.BO.2.6.2.c2-0007-M8994FAAAANAZM-1.55185.2
Any help will be very appreciated.
