My I9505 screen was broken, so I attempted to replace the screen. After doing so, I noticed that the pins (on motherboard) to which the display cable connects too looked to be damaged.
After everything was connected etc. I then turned my phone on. And although sound emerged and lights lit up, nothing appeared on the screen.
(I'm assuming the problem is with the pins described above)

Is there anything that can be done to repair the motherboard, so images will be displayed on the screen. Without paying for a new motherboard?
P.S I have tested the new replacement screen on another I9505 and it worked perfectly ( so the fault is definitely with my i9505's hardware)

I have a problem with my nook simple touch with glowlight, in my screen I have an issue; it seem to be damage, the are parts of the wallpaper and an gray box in almost all of the screen, and in the bottom side of the screen is normal. What i can do?.

Sorry, it looks like your screen died.
If you can't get it repaired or swapped under warranty, take it apart and try reseating the display connector.
I don't really think that that's the problem, but it's worth a try.
Replacement screens on the market cost about what a discount Nook costs.
One of mine Galaxy S4 screen part 3/4 turn to black. Now It just like S4 smart view, even if remove the flip cover. Top of the screen has colours, but bottom part turn to black. He restarted the phone several times but no luck.
Anyway to fix this issue?

Enter download mode and recovery. If you only see part of the screen in both modes, the screen needs to be replaced. If not seen in either mode the GPU on the motherboard is the culprit and needs to be repaired.
I need help with my Note4's display. I paid a local phone repair shop to fix the cracked glass. when I got the phone back things looked different. most noticeably everything looked washed out, kinda greyish. I took it back to them and they replaced lcd. they said there was nothing more they could do and blamed the issue on the software. I reloaded the original firmware and the phone is now completely stock. I made a test pic with some gradients that confirmed my suspicions. the first pic attached, test2, is my phone side by side with a friends phone displaying the second pic, test. does anyone know what possibly went wrong?

I have been using this device for more than 5 yrs. Recently screen rotation was not working so I tried to repair it by myself after watching some videos and forums. It was an easy process but due to my curiosity I dug into the hardware some more. During the process I mistakenly broke a piece from ZIF connector which was connected to the display. I don't know whether this could do anything to the touch. Now the touch becomes unresponsive. I am also thinking that the digitiser could be faulty but not ready to invest in a new one without knowing the real reason. Why this connector is for. Could this be the culprit? If so do I need to change the daughterboard? You can see the picture

Hello I need help for my YT9213AT. Some one morning, i was started my car and saw white screen. Radio, sound, touch screen, buttons work correct. I was opened radio, and find three blows up elements. It was been two L44 (I identified L44 as schottkey diode and replrace as D78 schottkey diode) and ones diode T4 who repleace with T4 diode. After repleaced blows up element I still have white screen. Atached photo with pleace where been damage elements. Maybe someon have schematic for this radio, or someon would like help me to find problems

Does the screen go white right away or after boot?
The screen turns white about 2 seconds after power is applied. later, turning it on and off does not change anything
