Here is the link:
http://update.archos.com/8/gen8/gen8_2.3.81/firmware_archos_android_gen8.aos
According to the link info, it is for all Gen8 models, "Archos 28/32/43/70/101 internet tablet".
I've read on other blogs that after updating to the newest 2.3.81 firmware some owners have noted that their Gen 8 tablets indicate that 2.1.08 firmware had been installed.
Can anyone confirm this anomaly?
I am still using 2.1.08 FW on my 70IT 8g.

Installing the SDE will not update the firmware, I had to install the stock FW, then SDE. But downgrading to 2.1.08? I doubt it. They probably had their old aos file sitting around and used it instead.
I've read in other thread that the Cinama Plugin is gone in this new firmware release.

no it doesn't work , did you boot into the stock firmware using boot menu?
I only upgraded from 2.3.26 to the latest fw, restarted, then tried it and it worked. Nothing fancy other than just that. I'm using SetCPU, and LCD Density Changer now, whereas in the last fw, .26, they wouldn't work.
And i'm not using a boot menu.

latest build data problems
hi im on the latest build with the sprint variant and i cannot get any data to work. ive tried the apn fix floating around, manually setting the apn which never stays or saves. ive reinstalled the rom 3xs now with the same result. installation goes smooth i install rom, boot it, then reboot into recovery and install gapps leaving about a 5 min period in between to let phone "do its thing". Please help and has anyone else had the same problem?
Settings
Hello.

Anybody have issues with themes not working on the 2/23 build? I keep getting FC's when I try to apply a theme. sm-g900w8
i had a few minor issues with today's build 2-25 kltespr( dirty and clean install). first was that i couldn't send text messages( the arrow to send was greyed out). second, i had dialer lag when trying to make a call a few times. I reverted back to the 2-23 build(runs great). thanks for the updates, this is my favorite rom.
Will this work on SM-G900T?
Sent from my SM-G900A using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Xposed
Hi, can we now use the Xposed Framework ?
Notification Color
Can you have the option to disable this? It seems to effect being able to apply custom themes. I use Theme DIY and I can't seem to overwrite the Quick Settings color.

That's exactly what happens with themes now.
Lost root
Hey
Did anyone else lose root access after installing this?
I was on CM12 before and root worked just fine.
Before that I tried the TW based AllianceRom.
Any ideas?

retail Verizon install
I have tried installing this tomorrow a bunch of times without any success. Could someone give me detailed install instructions so I could try it out.
flashed todays 3-2 build. everything looks and runs great, including bluetooth! thanks for the frequent updates.
Wake locks out of control
Been following this rom, klteusc build for a long time now, it's great, best I can find by far, however there are a few massive wake locks and a very mediocre battery lifetime. Don't know what's going on, but here's a screen shot. I have followed instructions for install to the letter, have no xposed, no greenify, no amplify, but can't seem to figure out how to drop these wake locks down. Any suggestions or is this a bug?

I use Textra and I'm able to text on the 03-05 build. As a matter of fact, I no longer have to reboot my S5 to continue using my Bluetooth in my truck. A big thanks to the devs!

Xposed
Hi how can we install Xposed on the Fusion Rom ?
I need a how to or turorial
Thanks
Is ambient display working on this ROM?
New to the forum, I totally understand this:
Because you have less than 10 posts, the developer of this thread has opted to have replies go to a separate questions and answers thread. Placing your question within the Q&A thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer. Once you have more than 10 posts, you can post anywhere.
but maybe my reply/answer does not end up where intended, then - anyway here goes:
To use the Recent-button as Menu-button (and assign other keys as well, go to:
Settings -> Fusion -> Navigation -> Buttons
and choose your action for the Recents button
Regarding vibration and the Back button - I dislike almost all kinds on vibration on my phone and I've disabled
Vibrate on touch
in
Settings -> Sound & notification -> Other sounds -> Vibrate on touch
but according to some of the later posts this may have moved on a newer version than my present 2802-version (Unified).
C'n'H
PS Not knowing exactly where this ends up, I still need to thank you all on the Fusion team for the great ROM and the lively discussions in this and the old forum.
Hey, just wanted to inform you all I just downloaded and installed the newest update for K350n.
Update's label is V10i and notable changes are:
- KRACK wifi exploit patched;
- Bluetooth blueborne exploit patched;
- Google Duo included as a system app.
That's what I've noted so far for these few hours, at least. Security patches date is 06.11.2017 which is obvious because of the included KRACK patch.
