[Q] LG G2 is stuck on Firmware update screen - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
Yesterday I tried to upgrade my LG G2 from android 4.4.2 to 5 via LG PC suite.
The upgrade was failed at some point around 30%, it let me re-try the upgrade, but it fails over and over.
After deep research, I found that it could fail due to lack of space (Under 1GB), unfortunately I think that's the root cause of the failure. (No alert was given before the upgrade)
Now, it stuck on the Firmware Update screen (even after reboot), attempting to get into download mode direct me to the Firmware update screen.
The only thing I was able to perform is getting into the Hard wipe screen (holding vol down + power button till device is powering off and powering on, when it power on with the LG logo I let go the vol down button and keep holding the power button), I chose to reset factory, but I think it just restart my phone into the Firmware Update screen and perform nothing.
This is un-rooted device, made in Korea. Sorry, but I don't know the current firmware version.
Any help please, if anyone know how can I delete data without the OS it could help.

[Q] Unrooted my phone by accident and it can't boot now

Hi guys, skipping the introductions, I somehow unrooted my F320S (I have no idea how!) and am currently unable to use even the download mode to get back to stock ROM.
Technical details:
F320S, Korean LG G2.
Was rooted since October
Lao Hong rom (before the upgrade)
The story behind it:
1) I upgraded my phone to 4.4 on "Rom VDT-V9 Cho LG G2 4.4 Kitkat" and found myself unable to access the recovery menu. I thought it was an outdated TWRP (2.6.3.2) causing the inability to access the recovery and decided to flash CWM (6.0.4.4), but was still unable to access the recovery. Even though I had flashed CWM, it did not cause any problems as I used the phone as normal during the week up until today.
2) Wanting to remove the navigation bar, I messed with the build.prop file and caused the system to "brick", and being unable to access recovery, I went to download mode (yes this isn't the first time I bricked the G2) and went through the mobile support tool hoping to revert to stock.
3) However, I got stuck in a bootloop on the boot animation screen and read on a reply to the thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49822996&postcount=1794&nocache=1&z=448867873440083) to do a hard reset on the device (Press vol down and power, then press power when the LG logo shows) but the confirmation failed to appear.
4) Now, I'm stuck in an endless bootloop, unable to access recovery (as I suddenly became unrooted) or do a hard reset (hard keys do not work) and unable to use the download mode to revert to stock (endless boot loop after the upgrade completes).
edit: It seems like when I'm doing the upgrade in download mode, the phone finishes the upgrade before the mobile support tool. I don't remember this happening last time I did it...

Try this...Hold the vol down and power and have it reboot at which point hold just the power button till it turns off. At that point try the volume down power till LG logo and then just power and see if that lets you access the recovery. I fought many times with the buttons to try and get into recovery and the easiest way was always with the phone off to start with.

I've been trying to get into hard reset this way for the past hour or so, but I think it might be a different key combination for the Korean models? Accessing recovery mode was vol up+power for mine too. I tried with both vol up and vol down, holding vol down all the way and releasing it after the lg logo boots, but i still have yet to find the right combination.
Thankfully I'm not fully crippled as I have my trusty S3, but I'd like to get the G2 up and running.
Just wondering if the fact that it was unsyncronized while in download mode affected anything? My G2 shut off before the download mode was at 100% complete, and I don't recall that happening the last time I used download mode to unbrick my phone.

Lg g2 D803 Bricked or can be fixed ?

Update :Fixed it
I wasn't following the pattern of the volume and power keys correctly now its done thank u so much guys.
How I did it
1 Turn off the phone by holding all three buttons ( in my case all of them otherwise it would just restart )
2 Pressed the vol - button and kept it pressed.
3 Now here comes the trickier step press power button and as soon as lg logo appears let go and press again (Now this last part should be quick) to get it to the factory reset mode. Volume - should be kept pressed during the step 3.
After 2 or 3 tries I got it.

I have a LG G2 D803 Sasktel which I OTAed Kitkat on it
After doing some research I found that I cant Root on kitkat so I decided to downgrade back to jellybean by using this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 and used the method 2 downgrade procedure posted .
I have downloaded BELL Canada D803B10A_00 ( Cause I thought SaskTel and Bell had same firmware ) and flashed it via Lg tools. Now I am stuck in Boot loop, When the lg logo shows up it just restarts again however I can put the phone in download mode.
Any help guys
Try a factory reset. That fixed my bootloop

I bricked my phone trying to flash Malladus (LG Bootloop) ... the flash tool isn't wo

So I don't know why this happened, I had rooted and installed TWRP and was happy, so I tried to install Malladus (1.2.9) and gapps and the 24a upgrade .zip, and now here I am.
I've tried most methods, and the LG Flash tool just says "failed PreviousLoad()" when I click the yellow arrow.
I f'd this phone up 12 hours after I got it.
If you see the LG boot logo than there is still a chance to fix the phone. Try to manually go back into recovery. Turn off the phone by long pressing power button. As soon as the screen is black, press power and volume down together, you only get a half second to do it. When LG logo appears release and press them together again until the factory reset screen comes up. Then press power 2 or 3 times and you should go back into your recovery. Once there you can try to reinstall rom, backup or side load a new rom. Hope this helps!
What is your phone model? Without that I cannot help you.
Same problem
Hi guys, like an idiot I was successfully able to install the debloat 4.4.2 on my vzw LG G2 but I tried to flash nandroid recovery back to my 4.2 and now I am stuck on boot loop and cannot get back into recovery. I tried to hard button by pressing both the bottom button and power, and press it again when the lg logo comes on and after pressing the power button a few times, it just goes into a black screen, so I cannot get back into recovery in this manner. Anyone know how I can get back into recovery without going through the full wipe back to factory?

Bootloop LG Logo and only downloadmodus

Hi all,
I have a problem and hope you can help me.
I was on Cloudyfa 3.2 and want to go back to stock.
Tried to flash the kdz with the LG tool but it says the phone is rooted and stopped at 2%
I found a tip on XDA to do a reset (advancd wipe, not internal storage) and then turn phone off and boot to downloadmodus.
After that the phone still says rooted with red letter. Flashing kdz still not possible.
Now comes to problem.....i can't enter recovery again.
I tried volume + and power. volume + and power, volume +- and power.
In all those combinations with phone off, push volume buttons, then power. If I see the lg logo, release the buttons and push the volume buttons again.
Tried those combinations several times but unfortunately no recovery.
I can go to downloadmodus but then..........LG flash tool doesn't worok.
Can somebody help me???
Update:
Tried two laptops (windows 7 & 8). Drivers installed correct.
kdz flash stuck at 2%

Soft bricked my T280 and so confused!!

I recently updated my Samsung Galaxy Tab A T280 to the latest firmware and I lost my root. So this afternoon I re-rooted it. Or I attempted to, anyway. Everything seemingly went fine, and I booted into TWRP just fine. I went to flash the ROM and I also selected wipe cache/davlik cache to be done as well, and tapped reboot. My device then turned off and when it started the reboot, it got stuck on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A logo screen and would not move or power off by holding the power button (I tried for a LONG time by using a rubber band to hold it down so I didn't have to, with no luck), and every other combination of buttons wouldn't do a thing, except for holding power + vol down, which made it turn off and back on, but it wouldn't finish rebooting and it just got stuck at the Samsung Galaxy Tab A logo again. So then I thought that maybe plugging it into a charger might not be a bad idea, and after holding down power + vol down again, it turned off and turned on and showed a battery with a charging symbol. I've had it plugged in for an hour and it does not show a charge or do anything except for go back to that boot logo if I unplug it from the charger and again hold down power and volume down separately.
I know it's not hard bricked because it is somewhat responsive so I think there's a chance to fix it, hopefully. I just want it to turn on and fully reboot into anything or in any way that will allow me to be able to fix the issue. My computer will not recognize the device so ADB is not an option right now unless I'm wrong.
Thanks a lot guys, I am so confused and could really use some advice.
What firmware did you install
Try to install original firmware via software "Samsung Smart Switch" on your PC with connected tablet.
I too recommend that you try installing the last firmware that you were on via Odin. Also, when you hit that screen lock issue after a firmware flash, where only the Samsung logo appears do this:
1. press and hold Home + volume up and volume down along with power button (that's all 4 buttons). Hold it there for at least 20 seconds and it should power off.
2. Once the device powers off keep holding the buttons but let go of the volume down button.
3. Once the tablet starts to power back up again release the power button and then in about 1 to 2 second release the rest of the buttons.
This should get you back into recovery. You should at least be able to restore any backup, that you should have already, on your external micro SD.
Good luck.. : )
"Chance Favors the Prepared"
the above post is 100% right. Reboot back into recovery and you'll be good to go. Also twrp has a option to reboot back to recovery so this doesn't happen, just a fyi for future knowledge. Best of luck..
You tried to flash a rom with twrp?
You need to flash stock firmware with odin.
