[Update.zip] *NEW* Alphamod GingerDX[25/03/2012]

Hi
This is my update.zip
I made it basically for me to flash with every gingerdx rom update
So some users told me to post it somewhere because its wonderful work
Really it is.. because i change many visually things in system
I didn't copy anyone framework..i just use from others devs artwork and some apps
Its modified system update
To see it you must have set the system theme
Install guide:
• Make your current rom a cwm backup(for future restore)
• Download the update.zip and move it in sd card
• Reboot to clockworkMod recovery
• Install custom zip from sd/choose custom zip/install Alphamodgingerdx.zip/back/reboot phone
• DO NOT MAKE FULL WIPE
Then:
•With your mobile browser get to this post and copy the following code:
su
setprop dalvik.vm.verify- bytecode false
setprop dalvik.vm.dexopt- flags v=n,o=v
reboot
Open terminal emulator and type:
•su (and enter with mobile keyboard enter button for superuser permission)
•Long tap the screen and paste the code
•Enter again
•Then the device will itself reboot
•Tap tap when logo appears to get in CWM
In main menu of CWM:
•Go to wipe cache partition and wipe
•Back to main menu
•Go to advance/wipe dalvik cache/and wipe
•In advance menu there is a option reboot recovery DON'T make reboot from there
•Press the back button to get in the main menu
•Reboot system now

I dont use gingerdx so I cant test but this would get more attention if it was posted in dev section.
Thanks for sharing, I will download and keep as I change roms often and I usually try dx new releases.
Would this work with any other roms? If you did not try then I will try with kuyadroid and gingerxperia tomorrow.

I installed it on kuyadroid but I cant see any changes, I will take screenshots and install backup and compare. On mobile now so cant download screenshots from above.

is not a rom.. its update.zip for Gingerdx
it's very fast and very smooth
set the system theme before..

maybe i try it..coz i still using miniCM..

I have also link in first post.

I have one question. After the installation, the "Brightness" and the "Sound" widget in notification bar did not respond. How can I make it work? Everything else working just fine, but not these options. And one more thing - I was with GingerDX v.17, and after this update now it's shows v.22. Thanks in advance for your answers!

Hey guys theme motorola e like lolipop...!! Just in 10 steps

1. Must have a root access
2. Install paranoid android beta 4
3. Then next step download the x theme light from the play store
4. Then just apply and reboot ur device.
5. Install nova launcher and delete ur old launcher via link 2sd.
6. Just configure nova launcher ss attached
7. Then just install exposed framework and install module flat style colour bars.
8. Also install easteregg and put the l developer .
9. Download build.prop editor from playstore and edit build from 4.4.4 to 5.0.1 and the build of paranoid to L release.!

Gravitybox system framework not responding. Exiting ..! Micromax A177 Canvas Juice

When you use Xposed and GravityBox, you can meet the problem :
GravityBox system framework not responding.Exiting
when you try to open the GravityBox.
Here is the solution.
1.Install Xposed Framework.
Starting from Xposed Install - Click on install/update button .
2.Install GravityBox with the .apk file (not through the Xposed installer).
From the Official GravityBox Module page
Link (GravityBox JB for Micromax A177) :
http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.ceco.gm2.gravitybox
3. Check the GravityBox in modules menu.
4. Reboot the phone.
5. Enjoy.
That's it...!
#If it still not works then try to uninstall xposed installer and gravitybox,
Reboot and wipe dakvil cache.
Reinstall xposed installer and gravitybox by .apk files.

I recommend you to download modules from their official page as .apk file instead of downloading from the Download option in Xposed Installer. It will work nicely on Micromax A177.
