Ok We all no that for example, A G900H Rom might not be compatible with a G901F or A G900F rom working for either devices. But what if there is a way (There has to be) to flash a G900F PIT, G900F ROM, G900F Bootloader and Modem etc on a S5 Plus or S5 LTE-A
Of course this would take away functions such as 4G Plus but there should be a way to get the generic stuff working such as Fingerprint sensor, IR Sensor, Heart Rate Sensor, Camera etc.....

So I just recently bought this beast of a phone, and I'm loving it. I am rooted and stuff and have been messing around with the ROMS on the forum for the Verizon S4. I found this forum the other day and was wondering if I can flash these ROMS to my S4 which is i545 rather than the i9505 or i9500. So can i flash these ROMS like a normal flash or would I have to do something different to get these ROMS like MiUi on my phone. ( I love MiUi.) Thanks for the help

Yeah, thats what I meant. Gonna wait in general until the rom variants are sorted, who knows maybe there will even be a way to root without trip.
Hey guys. I got a notification about a software update for my Rogers G900W8.
Was wondering if I should apply this update and would it affect root?

I made a post about this the next day the S5 was lunch. Rooting wasn't an issue for me as for flashing ROMS, some are compatible here, just need to ask them first. I'm wondering if we'll get our forum as well.

I would think most roms would work, I'm just wondering about our modem and baseband. Is it just a matter of flashing our modems to ensure lte function.

Meh, I didn't think about that =/. I guess you get no signals if modem/baseball aren't compatible. Is there a link to get our modem/baseband?
On the Note 3 N900w8 users got lucky, they could downgrade to JellyBean and back to Kitkat without issues, could root (on JB) without tripping KNOX and can pretty much flash ANY international ROM on their device (in this case the N9005 ROMs, N900T ROMs etc) -- IT is possible, now I use this term very very loosely that you *may* be able to flash a whole lot more than w8 only ROMs.
Hello friends, I'm sorry if my question is ignorant.
I have a galaxy S5 SM-G900M, and I wonder if there are differences to other models such as exeplo Sm-G900H and G900F.
Are just differences between regions of the world?
If for example I go down one of the stock rom G900H model and do the flash on my G900M, it will work? Or can I only install a specific rom for G900M?
Thank you!
I install blaze kernel in my 900m and working fine

Thanks, but i can install stock rom ok SM-G900F on my SM-G900M device?
For exemple, if SM-G900H gets 4.4.3 update before the SM-G900M, i can install this rom on my 900M or i need to wait an update to my G900m?

no, you can't. it depends. generally, you can install different rom as long as it rom has the same specification with your phone (same network (3g/4g), same processor (exynos/snap dragon). g900h is just 3g phone, yours is 4g so i would not recommend you to install g900h rom.

The I9505 and (likely) I9515 have no stock Android 6.0.1 Touchwiz ROMs. They don't exist as Samsung never provided an update. All stock-based ROMs in the development sections for these two devices are stuck at Android 5.0.1. The only viable upgrade path past Android 5.0.1 is Cyanogenmod or an AOSP-based ROM. Upgrading will mean you lose the Samsung features as well as its camera app, but you will get a device that runs more efficiently due to not having the Samsung apps running in the background.
The I9506 does have a custom, not stock, Android 6.0.1 Touchwiz ROM as one of Samsung's other devices with the same processor was upgraded to Android 6.0.1. The ROM from that device was ported to the I9506.
