This is a how-to guide one how to set a theme chooser theme as default. I see a lot of users asking for it, so I decide to make a guide.
Download Theme Chooser Theme
Download apk manager from here or here and extract it to C:\apk-manager\
Place your theme apk in place-apk-here-for-modding folder
Open Script.bat (Screenshot)
Choose Option 22 - Select Project
Select your theme
Choose option 9 - Decompile Apk
Go to Projects
Open AndroidManifest.xml
Copy the pluto:themeID and package (Screenshot)
Open Build.prop and scroll down to the end
There will be two lines like: persist.sys.themeId=Cyanbread and persist.sys.themePackageName=com.tmobile.theme.Cyanbread (Screenshot)
Change them to match your theme
Now copy the theme apk to /data/app/ or /system/app/ of the ROM you are cooking or the theme won't work
If you follow my guide, please press the Thanks button

I installed ICS by achep) look for your theme data entry.. it should start with com."creator".theme creator means name of dev who made it , so mine would be com.achep.theme.ICSandwich..

Me too I don't want post another thread so I use this one..
How do you change the default theme in CyangenMod 10 I don't think this work work with it cos the 2 line in the build.prop are not there no more,
So If a dev that has changed the theme in CM10 can post about it it would be great..
Thanks for reading..

Why theme it?
sent from xda app. it's all good. flash a custom rom. you will thank yourself.
Can I flash/install on stock rom ?
If so where do I download
Sent from my Nexus 4
No, theme chooser is not flashable. It's just part of a given ROM. There's something called "Xposed' which you can use to apply some themes. Run a search and you'll find it.
What Are These Theme Chooser Apps Available In PlayStore
I Download Themer Theme Chooser.apk From Playatore But No Effect In My Phone
Do Theme Chooser Works on Galaxy Y/Y Duos?
theme chooser just chooses the themes.you have to download the themes

Theme chooser is an app that comes with cyanogen roms (it will not work in stock)
you download the theme chooser theme apk install it then you apply the theme from the theme chooser app

use any cm7 rom for our device
if you want the statusbar to be transparent although the theme may contain transparency for the statusbar it will only work if you patch your systemui.apk
there is guide in my sig on how to do that yourself or you can use the pre-done systemui.apk which is included in my cm7 themes
all links in my signature

It is Xposed module to tweak look of statusbar. (colours, gradient colour like Android 4.4 Kitkat etc.)
This link will take you to required module. (You need Xposed Framework installed and activate this module)

Are you using xposed ?
Are you using xposed? And also on what version are you on? Are you trying the correct themes? (for example if you are on lollipop (EMUI 3.1) you can use every theme made for the EMUI 4.0, 4.1.x etc).
No , but now I install Xposed
Then I try to change theme
It's applying OK
But font never change, still the stock one
