Hello,
I'm not sure if this has already been posted, but I am not able to turn on GPS with SecureSettings, using Tasker. I do find the location services and mode option, But these do not work. I do have the system+ module installed.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Running android 4.4.2 KitKat.
Secure Settings is a device manager.
Thanks in advance,
Twitmuck.

I have been having a few problems. First, I tried running system tuner but all the options under startup are greyed out so I can't change auto starts. Also, better battery stats will not show anything. I am running omnirom on my i777. Any help is appreciated. These used to work on shostock3 and other Roms and not this
Is it rooted? Maybe your System Tuner app needs root access and the Omnirom I installed on my device wasn't rooted. Lots of other roms are rooted by default.
P.S.: to change autostarts, I use a smaller app, the Disable Services.
I dunno what's wrong, but obviously my s health stopped working after rooting the phone using CF AUTO ROOT. Anyone having the same problem?

You can install xpose framework, and install wanam > under security hacks > (enable) disable secure storage
if not work, go setting > application > s health > clear data
it can fix =)

Thank you for your fast and accurate reply... and that solve my problem instantly
Yeah!! you are welcome
many feature at wanam, you can play around with it =)
Dear Friends,
please look here.:
http://repo.xposed.info/module/ma.wanam.xshealth
This Module works fine with Note 4 and you must not change the secure Settings with build.prop
XSecureStorage module bypass the secure storage checks on SHealth and Private mode services, this will let you load the SHealth App with no hangs and activate Private mode on Rooted Samsung devices running Xposed framework.
Why we do that? because somehow if you are using Xposed framework on GalaxyS5 (and the newest Samsung flagships), Secure storage will fails to process and save data, which leads to a Sensor service hangs.

Install and activate the attached apk in Xposed Installer and S-Health works fine.

i had same problem clear data didnt work and wanam was causing the phone to freeze and lag really badly so i unrooted it and tried to do factory reset but it wouldnt reset when i pressed erase everything nothing happened so i reset through recovery and it wouldnt restart after that it was stuck on samsung logo in the end i had to download and reflash stock rom anybody know why thats happened as i like the wanam features but dont want that heart in the mouth moment again if i try to root it agin...
Don't worry the steps is easy
1. new phone (after factory store or flash rom by odin)
2. root it
3. install xposed and wanam
4. enable it under wanam > security hacks > "disable secure storage"
5. clear data under setting > application manager > shealth
6. reboot, shealth will be work!
good luck

Not sure how many of you play Pokemon Go, but recent security patches have blocked to ability to use GPS mock location apps.
The OP5 ships with 7.1.1 and May security update which means that mock location apps are no longer supported.
I read that you can root and move the GPS app to the system, meaning that you dont need to rely on Mock location.
So, I have rooted my OP5, with Magisk (SafetyNet passed)....so what to do next?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

You move the GPS app to system. Duh!
Spoiler
You can use Link2SD to move the app to system
Most guides tell you to install a gps joystick of choice. After this install "Disable Service" app from the playstore. Run the app and disable fused locations service to terminate rubberbanding problems. The problem with oxygenos is that it gets stuck in bootloop as soon as you turn off the fused locations service. I didnt find a solution to this yet, so I'm hoping someone here can

Very simple solution. You'll need to be rooted though. I just magisk v13.3. As it bypasses safetynet.
1. Install NewGPS!Joystick from play store
2. Install lucky patcher (easy to find)
3. Open lucky patcher
4. Find newgps!joystick in the list, then convert it as a system app.
5. Open newgps!joystick, set where you want to start from. That's it.
Just open pogo and enjoy

I have it turned off with the app you named "Disable Service". I am using Android Auto so sometimes i have to re-enable it to use it as my car navigation. It always works perfectly fine without any boot issues.
Running Oxygen OS 4.5.1 and Android 7.1.1
This is a guide to implement universal Gms Doze in pie Roms
Note - this is a temperory fix
Process
- Install universal Gms doze module From Magisk manager
- reboot
- go to device admin tab under security in Settings and just disable find my device
- then go to apps and Notification > Advanced > special App access > battery optimisation > all apps
If google play services showing under apps then it is good to go
Note - as this is a temporary fix you have to disable find my device after every reboot.

Why need gms doze module? Pie is already optimize.
People experience crashes after enabling doze in magisk.
If u want fix for google service drain then use agni kernel. There is option to enable.

Hi all, I have a Mediapad M3 lite 10 (BAH-W09) obtained in China. It's currently running Emui 5.1.3 and Android 7.0 u rooted. Im currently trying to install a Google system on it for work purposes. I've tried using GMSinstaller but the whole apk is blocked. [App may damage your device, installation forbidden]. There is no option in the security menu to prevent checks on apks. I've also tried to manually installing the framework and play services but the play store still asks to install the core GMS packages. Is there a work around for this?

When I switched off and on the external sources/third party app radio buttons, there was an option to "Enable external sources app to scan..." that was enabled by default. I disabled that tick box and it never checked any APK's again.
Hope this works for you.
