I have a Note 3 and I cannot answer any incoming calls. Lets say if the call is coming in I would swipe right to answer the call but when I do that it hangs up the call. This has been happening for almost two months.
I've done a soft reset and hard reset and i still have the same issue. I have also changed the settings to answer calls by pressing the home button to answer the calls and voice answering and i still have the same problem..
please hellp..

I've got a Universal with all the default ROMs and whatnot. I also use SPB PocketPlus and vBar.
Recently, since I got a bluetooth earpiece (Motorola HS820) - though not when the earpiece is turned on/connected - my phone has started rejecting calls when I try and answer.
I normally have my phone closed (screen not showing). Since some bug stopped me from being able to talk on it whilst it is closed, I have been opening it so the screen shows (and the keyboard doesn't) before I press answer. However, now this rejecting problem has arisen. I get a call, I open my phone so the screen shows and then press the answer button on the spine. This stops the ringing, but the incoming call popup stays as though I haven't answered, the person doesn't hear me and I don't hear them, then I get a missed call notification.
This does not happen 100% of the time. So far I have only noticed it when I've been receiving calls from my mother. However, she's pretty much the only person who rings me
Anyone got any ideas as to what is causing this/how I can fix it?
Update: I've done a hard reset and it seems the button still isn't answering the call. It isn't rejecting the call, it just isn't answering it.
This phone is proving to be more trouble than it's worth...
Interesting problem this.
I'd reached 1999 calls held in the call timers (1999 calls, 5122 min, 32 sec) and my call register showed calls from the last two or three months.
I noticed after a while that new incoming/outgoing calls weren't being registered in the Call Register, so I tried deleting call history items older than 1 month, and resetting my Recent Calls timer.
Nothing's made a difference, however, and my Call Register has not been saving any records of calls made or received for four days now.
Anybody have an idea why this isn't working? Is there a hard limit on the All Calls timer, which is still showing 1,999 calls @ 5122 mins and 32 seconds Neither figure updates when I make or receive a new call, the only figure which updates is the Recent Calls timer - the actual calls list doesn't update, it's still showing the last call as one I made four days ago.
Any help or advice appreciated, I did some searches but nothing turned up that seemed related to my issue.

Hi,
This is my first pocketpc phone edition so I don't know if it's common to all of them or just on the niki.
If I initiate a call and on the same second I have an incoming call, I find myself in the situation where I can't answer it...
The dialer is still on the initiate call screen and I can't seem to switch to the incoming call - not with the send button, even closing the dialer doesn't do anything.
If anyone can help me, I would realy appreciate.
Thanks.
Helllo,
My phone is picking up calls automatically (without pressing any button), just after the first ring. What do I have to do to avoid this?
I´ve tried to mark the the option ´answer incoming calls without pressing after 10 rings´, but even so it keeps answering the calls in the middle of the first ring.
What do I have to do?
Thanxs and sorry about my english

Iv got a feeling its been happening to you since you installed gyrator 2
well if thats the case most likely its because theres an event in gyrator thats answering the calls for you, i suggest you remove that even.
I had the same problem, just had to delete the event and it worked.
I am having a problem on my S4 that I had on my S3. I am stock rooted on MF9. It happens when I am on a call and receive a text message during the call. It also sometimes happens when I am on a call and receive a call (call waiting) and do not answer it. After I receive the text or missed call waiting call I can continue the call that I am on. However, when I hang up 2 things happen. First my notification volume goes down to almost 0. I do not hear any notifications such as texts, etc (at about 5% volume even turned up all the way). When I try to make my next call my speaker (earpiece) stops working completely. I hear the beep from it that the call connected and the timer starts but I can not hear anything on the other end. This was a big problem on my S3 and now it just started happening on my S4. I am using handcent for my texts. In handcent I tried turning the alert on and off while on a call. I have to reset my phone several times a day as this is the only thing that fixes this issue. Can someone please help me figure out what is wrong?

I have solved the issue. It is being caused by an old app that I had installed called call waiting configurations 1.9.9. This app was messing up the sounds on my S3 and S4 so if you have it DELETE IT.
