MODS: We need a battery sticky in every forum
Lithium batteries - 90% of them usually charge in about 3 hours with proper chargers. It has a chip inside that will switch off charging once 100% capacity is achieved, and will notify you. No need to keep the phone plugged in for 8 hours if you receive the message "charging completed, disconnect charger".
You may choose to charge right away, or use the phone until the factory charge depletes. With Lithium batts it does not really matter much.

Extended Battery first time charging

Hi im using NAND android and i got myself extended battery 2600mhA.
Im worried about first charging. I suppose to leave it for 10 hours charging. But is charging dependent on kernel. Do i need special kernel for extended battery.
Im worried becouse i dont want my battery to stop charging on my fist charge becouse phone thinks its normal battery and stops on 50% charging and show green light.
Im told that first charging is important and should charge to 100% and let it charge for 10 hours.
Any experiances with this or any advices would be appriciated.
Are there any jews, muslims or christians that can answer my question.
Hell ill even accept Hinduist and Budist answer.
But i prefer an ateist answer.
Any help please.

If you are worried about your nandroid rom supporting your extended battery, why not do titanium backup and sms backup, then flash wm6.5 and charge your battery fully, then revert to nandroid.
Alternatively flash a nandroid rom which does support extended battery.
May your god go with you!
So WM6.5 supports fully extended battery without problems. Is that right???

[Q] Is it recommended to fully charge the phone on every charge?

It is sometime that I am thinking on whether it recommended to fully charge the phone (100%) on every charge and make sure the phone is below 5% before starting the charging process or it is not something necessary to let the phone fully drain and then full charge it every time to increase the battery lifetime.
Thank you.

If you have flashed Lollipop recently give it few cycles.

Try Snapdragon Batteryguru for Calibration
Freeze apps which you don't use.
Weather Daemon was the culprit in my case when i flashed Lollipop.
Sounds like you have a faulty battery.
