TUTORIAL PLEASE
You don't have to do any thing special on the vivo air to install twrp. Just download twrp manager from the play store. Then select install recovery. Been using for months since root and no problems. Made backups, restored, all working... Well that's all , ma'am XDA is strict on posting stuff ,apparently that was too short lol

Framaroot is not working to my device but TWRP is very difficult to understand,
do you have the flashtool?
use the twrp porting tool created by yuweng on windows then select manual port, place recovery in the mentioned folder and continue
then flash it via flashtool via putting your device in preloader mode
if you don't know how to put it in preloader mod or anything else then feel free to ask
If I helped then press thanks
u could go to play store n search goomanager
then don't install it but just watch the video there

I rooted mine fine with VROOT, a chinese app. It works for most phones I tried with a single click.
root lg e450 / e450f
i rooted my e450f with asian software called shuame. its been 100% successful with 3 of my devices so far.. a little awkward with the program being in chinese but there the option to root the phone still has the word root next to the characters

The modem itself needs flashed in the phone slot to stick, but fair warning - so far it can't be reversed.
(Oh, and thank @crawj for reminding how we did on S4, turned out same trick worked.)

Bricking when rooting is rare as long as you use the right files. And Samsung devices are pretty easy to unbrick you just flash stock back to the devices.
