Hi,
I am using an analog dual SIM card device. It works fine for me, even though I have to switch it to flight mode and back to change the SIM card.
My question is, is there a possibility to show the phone number of the SIM card on the today screen. After a while it is would be nice to see which SIM card is currently active.

Hello,
I have recently bought a samsung galaxy S from a singaporean friend of mine, i am in malaysia and I was using a Digi network and everything worked fine so I assumed my phone is not SIM locked.
Now I am going back to egypt but when I put my egyptian SIM card I got an icon of a sim card with a red exclamation mark next to it on the right side of the notification bar. There is no error message or anything. What does this mean? is my phone SIM locked or is my SIM card defective? I tried searching for the problem online but I didn't get any solid answer.
Thank you
I got that error when I forgot to insert the pin number of the card and skipped through the loading process. Reboot your phone and wait for the pin request.
I bought a Magic Sim Elite for my Samsung Note 3. I have two sims that are on the Bell network. My phone is unlocked. When I insert the Magic Sim I can see the app Dual Sim which does not seem to work and at the top of the screen I get an icon which is a circle with a line through it. This icon is for no network found I believe. I try to make a phone call but is says no network found. If I open the app I can see sim 1 and sim2. There is a star beside sim 1. If anyone has any information on this or can help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
So I noticed after taking my phone off airplane mode for so long that I have a no sim card inserted error
The thing is I do have a sim card inserted and the weird thing is when ever I take out the sim card, instead of the bars getting an X for disconnectedness, apparently I still have service. and I've been reflashing my tmobile d801 to gsm and not cdma
I've reflashed 3 different ROMS to see if it would get rid of this error but it hasn't.
I have taken my phone apart to see if the Sim card slot was loose and it's not and all the pins are fine
I've taken the sim out and turned the phone off for 1 minute and that didn't help
I have blew air in the sim card slot for curiosity and nothing.
I'm all out of ideas, anyone can help?
Could it be the modem?

I am using card SIM1
I put SIM1in first sim slot. its working
I put sim in second sim slot , its wortking
Now I use second sim card SIM2 and removed first SIM1.
I put SIM2 in first sim slot. its working

Now I put SIM1 and SIM 2 together in both sim slots.
Only one sim is showing with signal.
I can see there is no issue with sim and sim slots . But when I put both sims together only one is showing signal. Any suggestions.

If you use two sims together, the secondary (non-data) sim only supports 2G networks so, if neither sim has 2G support, only one will work at a time.
