[Q] Xposed not working on 5.0 lollipop? - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just recently rooted my phone, installed Xposed and I got the message that my phone is incompatible. Is this right or have I installed the wrong version or something? I'm gutted because one of the apps I rooted for requires Xposed.
I downloaded it from here: http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer

Don't think it works with TouchWiz ROMs (Stock)

If you are running a deodex'ed ROM you can try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3113463 It's working on my S5 G900M running XtreStoLite v2.2 ROM

Seems like Risk > Reward to me.
I'll hang on until there is a stable release.

Yes. Just install Xposed, then inside click Framework and Install/Update. It will install the Xposed Framework and you're done!

Make sure the modules are compatible with the Note 3. It may only be for AOSP ROMs

[Q] Getting a version of xposed framework for Lollipop

I was wondering if there was a way to install xposed on my AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 running a rooted version of lollipop or is it not possible due to the locked bootloader?
Thanks for any help,
Pettyfan45
Nothing to do with boot loader. It's a problem with how badly Samsung skewed ART. Xposed works on AOSP/AOKP Roms like cm12. LP 5.0.1 and below, but NO TOUCHWIZ BASED LP ROMS
Have you tried to flash through safestrap

Xposed on Rooted S5

Hello I have a Rooted S5 running lollipop. I have not tripped Knox. Will I be able to install and run Xposed normally? Or will it clash with touchwiz and stuff. Thanks

You can try doing a nandroid backup first, but I doubt it will work. I deodexed my rom and then flashed this xposed (I'm on stock touchwiz 5.0) http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3113463 It works perfect, you just need to deodex your rom (you won't loose any data)

Should run absolutely fine. I used the v75 for snapdragon from the same thread that fanfzero has kindly linked for you and flashed using flashfire by chainfire. No issues so far with any xposed modules.

You need to root then set your SElinux to "permissive". Deodex is a must. Deodex is the formatting option when compiling a ROM. I think..

Nope, go look up xposed for Samsung lollipop, should be thread by arter97, then search for a post by ddclark, he has a version that works for odexed and deodexed, nothing extra needed.
Just to clarify for learning purposes(I've been in the position as well), odex files are just secondary container files for code and images whatnot, these are usually system apks. Deodexing is taking those files and putting them all in the apk, this is mostly helpful for themeing cause you only have to screw with one file, there's other reasons to as well, that's a big one though. A good analogy would be, if an app is a house and all the code and graphics are in the garage, the odex file is a shed in the backyard.

Flash your ROM without wiping data if possible, the ROM flash zip might do this on its own.
