[Q] 910C unlimited WiFi tether without root? - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey Team,
It really is a last resort creating a new post on this but I can't find anything on Google or XDA devs or anywhere..... So sorry to trouble everyone...... My question - is it possible to get unlimited WiFi tethering on my 910c running lollipop without rooting?
Are there some settings I can change, or anything I can do, to be able to make the most of my unlimited data - and tether without voiding the warranty?
Kindest kindest regards and thank you all for your time,
God bless,
Yusuf

[Q] NK1 & WiFi Tether/Hotspot

I am asking this on behalf of a (less technical) family member with a VZW Note 3 that was just updated from NC4 to NK1. The person was a big user of WiFi tethering (hotspot) when on NC4, and she says she's now having trouble connecting in NK1 which she received yesterday. Has there been any changes to that feature, and if so, do I need to install anything (official or otherwise) to get WiFi tethering back?
My understanding is that the update brought her from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4, and I'm not sure if it's related to that. She was using whatever the TW stock method of accessing hotspot was under NC4 (no FoxFi, etc.). I will see the phone in person this afternoon to try and troubleshoot, but I'd appreciate any insight in advance.
Thanks,
Nick

Was this person using legit paying Verizon for the privilege of teathering? If so I would reset the stock app and set it back up.

The person was using the legit app (i.e. she's on a non-unlimited plan where tethering is allowed). I had a chance to swing by this afternoon and look at the phone, and it was a simple fix. I'm not sure if the update caused this but basically sharing was locked down to just Allowed Devices. I reset the stock app, made sure All Devices were allowed, and she is all set.
The real sad thing is she actually brought the phone to a VZW corporate store and they couldn't figure this out... Anyways, glad it was simple and tethering works as expected in 4.4.4.

[Q] hide tether

Hi just recently the three company changed my sim plan's terms of agreement, that limits tethering to 2GB a month with the mobile network data. I do have a all-u-can-eat data plan just that in three's unquestionable wisdom they decided to limit tethering.
Does anyone know of any good apps or ways using command lines etc. of hiding my tethering activity? This may of been answered, but I'm a noob so....
My smartphone is a Chinese clone of the Galaxy Note 3, Star N9000, (I just rooted so i guess that will help) android version 4.4.2
Any replies will be appreciated cheers

(Can I...?) Non-Rooted Lollipop Verizon Note 3 Tweaks

I have to re-flash my beloved Verizon Note 3 back to stock firmware in order to do a warranty claim. When I get my 'new refurbished' device in the mail, I can guarantee it will be updated to the point of no (root) return. :crying:
Sorry if these have been asked before but this might help out some non-root lollipop users.
Without root will I be able to:
Can I still use an Ad Blocker?
Can I WiFi tether without Verizon knowing? (I'm still on unlimited data plan)
Is there a way to change the DPI for certain apps?
Anything out there for a tap-to-wake function like the LG phones?
Can I get on screen navigation buttons?
Thanks for any help, I'll update the OP as I find answers to help out anyone in the same situation
The only one I definitely know the answer to is that you can use Adguard to block ads without root.
