Hi how do I adjust the screen temperature on a rooted phone?

I dropped my G2 the other day and now the backlight doesn't work. I'm thinking about buying a replacement screen but I want to make sure that there isn't any other part of the phone that would cause the backlight not to work. I've tried playing around with the brightness settings and while the screens brightness doesn't change at all, the touch panels light does adjust when I change the settings. Any help would be appreciated.
It's a Super AMOLED screen, mine is set to max brightness at all times. Will this cause issues?
Will I get screen burn in? Not looking to do any damage to my screen whatsoever.

Change auto change screen in the Display options in "Settings" and also turn off adaptive brightness. Also, manually adjust brightness from swiping from top down and getting the tool bar as it were

So I noticed that when the LG G Watch R goes into ambient mode the brightness increases.
Seems as if the brightness for ambient is independent of when the watch is "on".
I have tested it by using Wearfaces and created custom faces with the same setup for "on" and ambient and it is quite noticeable.
Is there a way to adjust the ambient brightness?
I have saw some threads talking about decreasing the brightness of the images for the dial, date, hands, etc. but I don't find this a good fix. Any suggestions?

I have same problem. Its strange that brightness in normal mode can be changed and in ambient not.... during night its pretty distracting :/
I've been searching for a way to adjust the ambient mode as well.
It's very noticeable in a dark environment.

Hello everyone. My phone using ebbg display, the screen is so warm. :silly:
I tried with some kernel tweak app but they do not show Screen calibrate menu, look like stock kernel doesnt support.
Have any way to change or calibrate screen to reduce warm temperature ? My phone was rooted.

This past few days I've been having hard times reading my screen under the sun.
For the first few days I was able to read small texts with my sunglasses on...
But now it's getting complicated.
I remember there was an app to reset adaptative brightness, but it's not installed on my phone for some reason ! (EU version)
And BTW, is there any way to force maximum brightness on your phone without adaptative brightness?
