I can swipe to the page to the left of lockscreen which shows a number of widgets I can add to the lockscreen. However if i install a new widget from google play only some of them show up in that lockscreen list? i am trying to find a clock with a battery % to put on my lockscreen, but any I find dont show in that list, only in my main widget list in Nova. Some of the clocks i have installed do show in the list but not the ones i want. Wanting to do this as i have the status bar hidden
Also as another quick question, is there a good turturiol somewhere to show how to use Twrp to do a backup? I installed the manager from play store, but when I click backup it just boots to a bootloader screen where i can update or restart etc. And now when I seem to try it freezes to a black screen saying fastboot and i have to hold down the power button for a while to restart the phone

I have just installed the official 4.3 ROM for my i9505 via Odin (I came from the google edition ASOP ROM) Two issues.
1. when on the lockscreen and I get a message/email etc. I can swipe the notification tray down, upon tapping the notification, it just goes back to the lock screen. Before the update it would unlock the phone and go to that application. I have no sort of security on the lockscreen. just normal swipe to unlock.
2. I keep getting messages about supersu etc trying to access the phone and being blocked. I am rooted and root access seems to work fie for apps requiring it. Is there any way to stop these?
Thanks

Is this normal behaviour for Samsungs 4.3 ROM? is it a bug, or supposed to be like that
I use a Galaxy Note 3 I9505 which is rooted with towelroot. I have SuperSU and XPosed installed. Since yesterday I noticed that the statusbar icon colors that I'd changed using XBlast (Alarm, WIFI , time etc...) had gone back to default white color. Today I checked Xposed and it said there was a new update available so I went to Install/Update and the phone rebooted. Since that restart, I always get a popup "Unfortunately, the process com.android.systemui has stopped" and if I press OK it comes back again. The homescreen background keeps changing colors from blue to black during these popups. Nothing happens when I touch icons ... the popup keeps coming back. And if the screen goes locked its completely dark and I cant see anything until I remove the battery and turn on again.
Please help asap ..

Deactivate and clear data for all your Xposed Modules and reinstall your Xposed Framework.
There should be an Xposed-Disabler.zip on your sdcard, flash that in recovery using the Install update option so that you can access the above.
I can't click on any icons ... swiping doesnt do anything ... the popup keeps coming back and all I can click is "ok" on the popup
Sorry I'm new to these things.. could you please explain the steps on how to go into and recovery and what should be done?

Try this: https://seo-michael.co.uk/how-to-disable-xposed-installer/
You could always factory reset in recovery.
To get to recovery on your device...hold down Power + Vol Up + Home, when fully powered off.
Thanks, I thought factory reset was the best option and it works fine now.
Just wondering, is the phone still rooted after a factory reset?

If SuperSU is installed in /system, yes it is. If not just reinstall and it's all good.
I just flashed the Lollipop factory image. Initially my app drawer looked like the "Guest.png" screenshot below. Somehow along the way as I was exploring lollipop, the app drawer changed to the "Me.png" screenshot below. Not sure what caused it but I would like to get the app drawer the way it looked when I first flashed lollipop as shown in "Guest.png" below; which is to say the screen with more apps on a single screen and the black background. I've rooted and flashed TWRP since flashing Lollipop. As an FYI, the "Guest.png" is from the guest account on my phone and the "Me.png" is from my account.

Sorry for my bad english, i'm italian,
i have bought a Nexus 6P yesterday anda i have unlock bootloader, install twrp, and flash the last official release of CM13 (20160819 i think)
it is all ok, but when i go to change theme, the icon dosn't change, change all (wallpaper, boot animation, menu graphic) the only icon that change is the drawer icon.
i try nova launcher, and the icon still remain the google stock even if i set "default" in nova.. but if i download an icon pack, i find it in nova and the icon change, and so isn't a problem of the gapps. the problem is in theme engine that not manage the icon.
i try to change only the icon in theme engine but nothing change. i try to flash older version of CM or gapps but nothing change.. someone can help me? i hate the stock icon and theme of google
I have a SM-G550FY, at least that is what my phone says. Now when I got the phone it was a metropcs phone and I tired rooting it which worked. Then I tried to flash the Reborn ON5 rom and then I had no sound. After this I tried flashing a stock rom but I believe it was for the T-Mobile variant. NOW it wont open ANYTHING. It boots and the initial android setup shows up but after I cant even open the settings in my phone. I used recovery to reinstall the reborn rom since no sound is better then no apps. I believe I flashed imgs for different model number but now I am not sure what to do. I just want to go back to the stock rom so I can have my sound back. Any help would be appreciated.
To fix the no apps/black screen what I did was pull down the notification menu from the top of the screen, then by long pressing the buttons I was eventually able to get into a settings menu where I could get to the play store. I started by downloading a bunch of the basic apps that were missing...contacts, messages, etc. then I installed "Google Now Launcher" and that fixed all the things. The bad metro wallpaper showed up and there were the apps that I thought were missing. I hope this helps...or at least gives you some hope that everything isnt lost.
Edit...if you can get to the play store...try the google now launcher first. Honestly any launcher might work.
