Hello folks!
Is there anything wrong in getting it from Amazon - US, even if its private seller?
I was thinking of ordering it from Amazon for two reasons:
1. Using Amazon's 12 month interest free finance option
2. At least initial return (within 7 days) would be easy, IF something is wrong with the device?
Any thoughts?

I have been watching amazon resellers and considering them. Most of them are on ebay too. But see my other thread--for a 790 price expansys usa has the device in stock and they have a better return policy--that I would trust more IMHO.

After multiple delays they canceled my order so I just went and got it from newegg. Since it came from Jersey to Maryland I got it the next day. Loving it so far.

Got mine at eBay from networkgurus for $749, it just dropped to $729. It ships from Georgia. The seller was very prompt with his emails. Ordered yesterday and got it today B)

UK Stock and Price

I picked one up today from the Stratford store in London UK - Price was (inc VAT) - £399.00
They only had the wifi version in white - couldn't resist so purchased although ideally wanted the 3g one with more storage.

Samsung website says Argos is a seller, but they have no idea.

Carphone warehouse is selling it and has the 16gb white vetsion in stock. Expansys and clove are selling 16Gb and 32gb white and grey but are showing No stock until 1st Sept.

I asked at a carphone warehouse today to be told that've they should have stock in 2-3 days. I'm after a grey 3g one which I have preordered on amazon, but if I can get it sooner I wouldn't mind.

Just wondering was that amazon.com or .co.uk? I can't find it on the UK site - has anyone else found any UK online/highstreet stores with the note 10.1 in stock or for preorder? I'm after the grey 32gb.

Grey is not up yet.
Amazon is really stupid. You have to search through electronics and samsung.
Only the grey 16gb version is available and the white 16gb. Funnily the grey version now shows as unknowing date for delivery and stock. Only the white shows as in stock on the 1st of september.

I ordered mine from Expansys, it's a euro import but it arrived quickly and I am happy

Amazon has the note10.1 dark grey 16gb on sale for 409 plus 5 bucks shipping from one of there 3rd party sellers. amazon itself has the same tablet for 423. i just ordered it from amazon for the 423 because i feel safer dealing with amazon if there is any issues. not sure when they dropped the price but it was 449 this morning. might one to jump on it while it's up. i signed up just to post this:laugh:

Pretty good deal, I would have went with the one for $423.00 also. I was lucky last Christmas and got a new sealed white one on ebay for $385.00 delivered, sometimes when you role the dice you win.

Newegg has a 16gb refurb for $370.

Not really a good deal i think. i bought mine 16Gb wifi refubished ( 100% like new) + bundle (case+ usb connection kit+ extra s-pen) for $360 (after tax) last week.

I just brought the same bundle from best buy yesterday. The tablet looks new but last night i notice there are dusts under the screen. Does your have the same problem or its just me. I don't know if i should return it or not.

It may not be........
I thought mine was also but its not.
I turned off my screen and took a very bright flashlight beam and low and behold there is 2 specks of dust suspended in the coating on the screen.
You can not see it until you shine a very bright light (1000 lumens), blinding light in fact.
So unless something else would happen to my Note i'm not sending it in.

That was exactly what i did. I also found two, one can be seen when screen on, the other one not so much. Is your also refurbished?

Wow, my is refurbished. So i guess i cant complaint. The speck of dust didn't bother me at all, but what bothering me is ive noticed a thin thread, like a hair, about 1 mm long underneath the screen. Its very visible when the screen is on. I guess that's why its refurbished.

If you're willing to do the repair yourself, you can probably get one for less then 300 CAD. I got my Note 10.1 with a cracked (one very fine line) touch layer for only 296.63 CAD from Surplus by Design http://stores.ebay.ca/id=679161510&ssPageName=STRK:MEFSX:SST&_trksid=p3984.m1543.l2533
A new touch layer will cost me less then 30 CAD total from a Chinese eBay seller.

I got mine brand new in November and have recently noticed some dust specks under my screen. Only notice when screen is off and in direct sunlight.

I will probably keep the tablet. I only paid 292 + tax for it at best buy and it was bundled with spen, case, and USB adapter. I figure for that price i might as well keep it.

Preordered

Completed my preorder at 1:04 A.M EST. Got black with no other accessories. Order went through without any issue. Had to refresh the site starting at midnight until it popped up at around 1 A.M.
Looking forward to getting it.

I pre-ordered this morning around 8 with no issues. Three weeks can't come soon enough, haha.

Yeah preordered mine today at 3:00 AM no issues. Ordered a cover for it off Amazon too. Can't believe it's going to take longer to arrive than the phone.

I ordered the INVELLOP Screen Protector for the Note 4 on Amazon for 10 bucks shipped. Not sure about the actual quality.

Just made my pre-order. I usually go with Galaxy S(even numbers), but all the features finally convinced me. What is really cool is I also just had my work, order me a Moto X (2014) at the same time. So I will have a lot of fun with both. Didn't feel like a glass Sony Z3v that I would end up breaking. I also don't care for Verizon... but when it doesn't cost me anything, who the hell cares. Somehow I am perfectly happy with Sprint.

I just pre-ordered mine as well. I went for a white one.

I haven't got mine from Sony, but I've seen some people that ordered from Sony and did got theirs, 1 or more even got the phone before the 3rd parties started shipping. So I guess it varies per country, or there was a problem with your shipment.

Ordered mine from Sony's website (France) on the 29/09 (as a preorder with the headphones). It got shipped from Czech republic on the 30/09 in the evening and arrived at DHL in my city yesterday but too late. Currently waiting for the delivery guy to bring me my preciooooooussss...

Hi ordered my Z3c from sony website. After about 10 days it arrived; it was shipped on monday and arrived the day after in Italy!!! Yes, one day from czech republic to Italy. Then, shipped back for a usb connector issue on wednesday and on thursday it was in czech republic. Now I'm waiting for the new one from there...

I'm thinking about doing this too, I ordered the phone the same day you did and i'm still waiting for the z3c to be shipped. lol
But they charged 500 euros on my credit card, if tomorrow morning i call them asking to cancel the order will they refund me immediately?

I can tell you they won't cancel the order, they'll tell you the phone has already been reserved and ready to ship.
They gave me that answer for 3 consecutive days but the phone has not been shipped yet. Go figure.

Ordered mine via Sony Germany and got it shipped from the Czech Rep. within one(!) single day on the 26. September already. Communication (via eMail) was also good, nothing to complain about.
