Sony Xperia Z ROM port?

Hi, Can some1 port/make this ROM to our Nexus 4?
One dev replied to me long time ago it is possible to port/make Xperia Z ROM if it has Android 4.2.2
Sorry it was a wrong link...but they really do have Android 4.2.2 on Xperia Z now.

Xperia lollipop for titan

I have heard Xperia is getting lollipop updates it possible to make a rom for our phone with that.. Development in our device is promising.. I'm not a developer though. . Its just a .request. .
Xperia z3
Do you mean a Xperia-themed rom? Because there's one right now in the Android Development of this forum.
What? Xperia Lollipop ROMs are just for Xperia devices, as far as i know, Sony is not going to make Xperia Lollipop a open source thing, if Xperia M2 receive an official Lollipop update, we can try to port it, as its the same hardware. we can surely have an Xperia Themed ROM, but i don't know why would someone do that, Xperia Lollipop is ugly as hell (in my opinion)

As I said, we already have a Xperia-themed rom, based in the latest stock. I don't like it but different strokes for different folks, I guess.
Lexodus ROM is the one with Xperia themes.. But it still isn't quite that much Xperia..
Its ok just felt like asking so did cause I'm bored of the stock lollipop

I'm sure many here will not see this as a "bad bad bad news". Having an official lollipop firmware in a 2.5 old device is more than anyone could ask for. Having a solid 5.1.1 build is better than having the latest build.
More than happy with the support from SONY,and more than enough to stay on the ship

This is a bad news bcz there are many people have a( locked bootloared allowed no) so there is no custum rom based at cyanogenmod or any other custom rom ...there are just custom rom based at stock rom..so in the futur for the bootloared allowed no there are no update no officiel or any custom

So sonny should give as a solution to pass from bootloader allowed no to allowed yes for installing the custum rom :crying:
Bad news for us....but it waz expected.
Cherish to sony for long support to our old device.Better than other OEMs.
Yea 5.1.1 was the best build i agree.
But i hope(i know they will) our rom devs will port android 6.0 from other xperia devices getting dat version.Kudos to sony and our rom devs.:good::good:

I agree with you i hope our best dev make a stock rom for z and z1 based at android 6.0 for LB and UB
Creating Android M for LBL is not possible bcoz it'll need custom kernel. I think our devs'll give some test builds on next 1-2 weeks, AOSP code'll be published in 2-3 days

I'm not surprised. It's fantastic that we even got 5.1, the Z is so old now. All good things come to an end
But what I am wondering, if someone will port 6.0 AOSP... Not CyanogenMod or other forks, they are always unstable and breaking things. And will take a long time anyway.
Sent from Xperia Z via Tapatalk
I'm very happy with the updates we have had and hope that I get 2.5 years of updates on my Z5 most people would have upgraded by now anyway however if I didn't have a phone I would happily purchase the XZ. It's been a damm good phone even with a locked bootloader.

the bootloader is directly connected to the TA Partition and every phone has a unique one so its impossible to change from yes to no
Chasmodo has already said that he wont support marshmallow on Dirtyunicorn for Xperia Z.
If people were expecting Sony to support Xperia Z for as long as they own the device then they were dreaming.
We have a stable 5.1.1 be happy. The device is more than 2.5 years old....

Well we must move on i think. Theres no such thing as "lifetime support". But we can rely on our talented custom rom chef outhere.
May god give them strength and will to port 6.0 to our device.

I don't think Z will get a ported version of Marshmallow from other devices.. May be a CM or AOSP is possible.. But stock one is not possible i think.. May be i am wrong..

I'm porting it guys, I have already ported for ZR since I own the device. Please wait for few days : Z and Armani should have it
---EDIT---
I had posted for Z few days ago, but after seeing there exists NH for Z already so I'm deleting my thread. Though you could always create a zip from NH installer.
