I want to add a phone shutdown menu option after pressing the restart will be able to enter the recovery, how do I do this?

I changed the settings in Developer options to long press "shut down" to access recovery restart, then I restarted it, and now I'm stuck in recovery mode when I start the phone and it won't enter recovery or start and Odin doesn't recognize my phone.
Is there a way to fix?
I'm trying the volume down and power button combination
but the phone isn't booting to recovery
Was you ever in recovery mode? Is your phone soft bricked? Do you have access to the Android system?

Every time after installing custom ROM i couldn't go to recovery mode using vol up and power key. Any solution plz. Thanks in advance.
You have got to press all three keys to get into recovery: Vol. up + Vol. down + Power
For going recovery pls press all three buttons vol+ vol- and power button
Or you can use advance reboot option in most of the ROM for going to recovery.
For it long press power button
Then select reboot it will give option for recovery soft reboot etc
If there is no advanced reboot option you can download it from Google play & apk name is ' reboot menu widget '
You have to install through ADM tools.
Any ideas on how to access the recovery without the volume up/+ physical button? I need to enter the recovery to flash a new ROM (stock) but the volume up button is gone, when I get to the laying-android-thingy I can't to anything.
If ur fone is in working condition then install some advance reboot app frm play store
Try adb reboot recovery from pc, or just reboot recovery from terminal app
Hi I m using sm p550 having Australian firmware as bought from there. I want to root it. I tried flashing twrp recovery using Odin. It says pass but don't load the recovery. I tried many times but didn't work. It also doesn't have oem unlock option in settings. Please help me how to solve it and root my device running on nougat 7.1
Make sure you follow the instructions:
You have to uncheck the "auto reboot" checkbox in the options tab. Flash the recovery in the AP-Slot. Turn the device off holding power + home + volume down; when the screen goes black switch to power + home + volume up. If you boot to Android then you have to reflash & retry.
