[Q] Latest stock ROM SM-G900F

Hi everyone,
where can i download the latest STOCK ROM for my SM-G900F? I would think of sammobile but i don't know which one is the latest and which should i download, any help please?
Better if there is a stock rooted and debloated rom, but if not i would be happy with a stock with no modifications, because i had best performance and battery life on stock, now on custom roms i just have problems and want to clear that...

Got to live.samsung-updates.com/index.php?device=SM-G900F and look at build dates. Closest to today is the newest (BOC7 atm). That's for 5.0 though. If you want latest 4.4.2 KK ROM, it's the one from my signature

the last 5,0 is BOD3 it is much faster than BOC7.

debloated ROM options

Hey
I'm looking for a ROM for my T-Mobile s5 what is debloated and slim as I only have a 16gb s5.
I also need tethering that works, cm12.1 doesn't seem to work.
Can you recommend a ROM ?? I've tried a few so far but most have strange issues etc so Looking for stability too.

5.1.1 Lag?

Well, just did a fresh install of 5.1.1 on my SM-N910G via Odin 3.10.6.
I was previously using Cyanogenmod Nightly Builds on my Note 4. Since returning to stock firmware, to be honest it just feels slow, clunky and laggy. Has anyone experienced the same issues? I've yet to see if there's any battery improvements, but if there isn't, I think I'll be returning to CM.
Anyone in the same boat?

Nope I think you got a buggy version. 5.1.1 for me is the fastest and smoothest and stable rom out there but then again I never use stock rubbish. Try a custom rom as they be much better then stock or at least that's the case for 910f version. I can't speak for the 910g.

Best stock modified rom

Hello Friends...
I have a s4 i9505 and am not new to samsung as i already own a i9301I....
I want to ask which one is the most stable rom of all for the i9505...
I dont want any noughat rom..
Just A Simple stock modified or some Marshmallow with the latest feature...
Already seen many Roms on the youtube. some are s7 roms and some n5 etc.
Any suggestion for a rom that is smooth as well as Battery Friendly!!

The S4 never got a stock Marshmallow update. So you're stuck with Lollipop ROMs that look a bit like the S6 or not.

I am currently on the stock 4.4.2 and want to switch to a rom that doesnot loose the stock features and i am also not been able to update to 5.0... so now i will try and root my device and then try any stock modified roms...
if u have any suggestions then u r welcome to tell!!!

While I don't generally reply to "best ROM" posts, I can tell you that all the stock-based ROMs with I believe the exception of Imperium ROM are no longer supported. Since I'm not interested in keeping my S4 up to date thanks to having a newer device I threw Thor 1.5 (Android 5.0.1) on it and put it away. For a Touchwiz ROM it isn't too bad.

Then go to goldfinger custom ROM as a 4.4.2 kk.

[Q] Which modded stock S5 rom are you currently using?

Hi guys,
So after a break I am going back to the S5 (currently in post) and looking forward to trying a load of roms that have been developed since my last use.
I have downloaded latest CM and LOS releases as well as some ports and stock based/modded roms to try but I'm just curious as to which stock based/modded roms you are currently using/prefer/why?
I ask because if using a Sammy rom I am likely to prefer the S5 stock modded since fingerprint scanner should work for lock or in-app like Banking and Paypal etc (Or do some of the ports also work in-app?)
This isn't supposed to be a "best rom" type thread as that is subjective. I'm just interested in what you are currently using (modded stock). There was previously (as far as I remember) an INDEX thread listing all stock based but I am unable to locate it at the moment.
So, any recommendations to try would be appreciated.

It's in my signiature. Beast, long battery life, little to no lags, but for some reason, came without CSC. Download alexndr's devbase ROM and transfer the csc folder from the devbase to the SuperLITE MM zip.

Unfortunately my S5 has just arrived and it's the Plus model (G901F) not the G900F. SuperLITE was going to be first rom I tried but looks like I can't use it? :crying:

As stated, you did not specify the model number. So, G901F lacks custom roms. THere are 1 or 2 out in the wild, but will take some time to find.

So far tried, CM, LOS, RR, Mokee...and best would be RR in terms of functionally but for some reason the N latest version gets my phone hot hot hot. Im on LOS again but thinking of going to older 6 RR.
